Mrs Catherine is the best and fantastic teacher for little kids who like to play. She structures her lessons in such way that the kids feel like they move from one game to another. A few weeks later they can read and count with great confidence they didn't have before. If you are lucky and get a place in Mrs Catherine's diary, make sure to hold your child's hand firmly on your way to Mrs Catherine - the kids usually run full speed towards her house in anticipation of a great fun lesson. 😀

Never a five-star review has been more well deserved than this one for Mark at Guildford Tuition. My 10 year old daughter has just been offered a place for Year 7 at one of the top schools for girls in Surrey. This would not have been possible without the incredible work Mark has done with her over the past year. Not only she has passed the 11+ entrance exams, but also with excellent results and a very positive feedback from the School. From his fun (but rigorous) approach to learning, to his superb strategising and bespoke support to ensure she confidently and successfully sat the entrance exams. Past the exams, she will continue learning and growing her skills with Mark. I cannot recommend Mark more to any parent who is committed to their children's education and future success. Rosanna at Powertutors connecting us with Christine who has been a lovely teacher for Psychology for our son. She is patient, calm and can break down difficult concepts into easier words. Karen was a wonderful tutor for our son Edward during an emergency period of EOTAS. She really met him where he was with different elements of his learning and helped start to address the very significant gaps arising from the poor educational standard at his previous SEN school, slowly building his confidence and self-belief. Her gentle but determined style helped him start his recovery from a period of school trauma and help ease his anxiety. Karen adapted her approach to suit, motivate and inspire him. We are very grateful for her thoughtful, diligent and patient work with him, the impact of her skilled teaching on him is clear. We all miss her and wish her all the very best for the future.

Mia taught my 8 year old son with holiday/lockdown top up lessons. Mia was very patient and she actively engaged with him to keep his focus and make the lessons fun. My son really enjoyed his lessons with her and he has made great progress in such a short time both in terms of confidence and ability

Mia taught my 5-year-old daughter for two months online and during that time my child’s progress was remarkable, especially her writing, maths and art skills. Mia was able to actively engage my child and keep her focused and motivated throughout the remote lessons. Mia taught my child Sophie when she needed extra help after school. Sophie really enjoyed and looked forward to the sessions and developed a great relationship with Mia. The sessions were great fun and planned around Sophie’s favourite characters which really helped engage her. It was fantastic to see how quickly Sophie gained confidence in herself and her work . Mia kept me well informed about Sophie’s progress and gave me ways I could help her more at home too. I would highly recommend Mia to help any child. She works extremely hard and really cares about what she does.

I have known Fiona for a number of years as my both my children have been tutored by her . My daughter was lacking confidence with Maths and Fiona worked with her to show her different ways of approaching problem solving. She achieved an ‘A’ in her GCSE all with the help of Fiona. My son is still working towards GCSE and will continue through to ‘A’ level . It has been money very well spent , thank you Fiona
