David has supported both my children individually in maths over many years, my son from yr7-11 and my daughter subsequently from year 4, who is now in year 10. He has been fantastic! My son said David was “Very good at structural revision. Good at teaching step by step and also pushes you to achieve the best you can.” He managed to encourage my son to realise how he could do really well in the higher maths GCSE and in fact he achieved a grade6 which for a dyslexic was fantastic! My daughter says “David is really good at letting you learn the way that suits you rather than forcing you to do maths a particular way”. She’s determined now she has the confidence in herself, to also take the higher paper. As a parent I feel relaxed that David will support my child for long term achievement. They’ve always liked the way he uses the iPad so they can write on the screen and he sets useful homework to practice what they learn each week, if you want that. We are really happy with David’s support.

I was the first child David ever tutored, I cannot express the gratitude I have for this man. Not only did he figure out how my brain worked and tailor our lessons to help me grasps concepts, breaking things down in ways I could understand, he also helped figure out how to motivate me. He came each week with determination, patience and empathy. I would not have become a Leeds university graduate without his tutoring. I couldn't recommend anyone more, you won't find anyone as good at tailoring to individual educational and emotional needs.

I can’t recommend Genius Tutoring Services enough. I needed a tutor for my son’s A’level RE as he was having difficulty formulating his essays. Elliott searched around and found the perfect tutor, Anna Bodziony. She was kind and patient and boosted my son’s confidence no end. He was just scraping a C grade but with Anna’s help, achieved a B. Mrs Catherine is the best and fantastic teacher for little kids who like to play. She structures her lessons in such way that the kids feel like they move from one game to another. A few weeks later they can read and count with great confidence they didn't have before. If you are lucky and get a place in Mrs Catherine's diary, make sure to hold your child's hand firmly on your way to Mrs Catherine - the kids usually run full speed towards her house in anticipation of a great fun lesson. 😀

My daughter loves Kumon. Since joining, she has gained so much confidence and is enjoying studies. She has also showed improvement in at school with high feedback from her teachers. Would recommend it to everyone- who loves studies and always is looking for extra and for those who need a support to gain confidence and skills.

I am highly impressed by Kumon Addlestone. My six year old son has been studying English with the centre for less than a year and his progress has been phenomenal - particularly his handwriting and reading. Cara, the manager, is attentive and conscientious. Following an initial discussion with myself, she assessed my son and picked up very quickly his strengths/weaknesses and tailored the starting point of the scheme to him. Since then she, and her team, have kept a close eye on him, reporting to us when they feel he is ready to progress up a level and supporting him with a calm and highly effective style. My wife and I are both trained teachers and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kumon and, in particular, the Addlestone franchise to any parent who wants to support their child's English skills. My child has been attending Kumon for Maths for a few months now, and we’ve seen incredible progress. The worksheets are challenging yet manageable, and they help build both confidence and problem solving skills. The instructors, especially Bhavika, are so supportive and are always available to address any concerns and tailor worksheets as appropriate. My child has developed a stronger work ethic and is understanding concepts at a pace that suits them. Their confidence has really grown. Kumon has been invaluable for my daughters education giving her confidence as well as improving her knowledge of both English & Maths. With her learning disabilities the learning style really suited and Cara worked with us to find the right pace for her to manage and always ensured that she was comfortable and understood what she was doing before progressing.
