We still have a long way to go in our 11+ journey. However, the experience with BTA- especially Mrs. Mittal has been outstanding! My son absolutely loves the in- person and online sessions and is ready and waiting promptly for the session to begin everyday. This is a testament to the teacher’s ability to inculcate a joy for learning rather than making it feel like a chore. Which is paramount to me personally for reasons of long- term sustainability. It is no wonder that BTA came highly recommended from our network of parents with successful 11+ journey. Monika always makes time for 1-1 interactions with parents and student. Often holding weekly focussed doubt session for each student personally.

Brilliant tutors have so far truly lived up to its name. My daughter is currently enrolled and preparing for 11+. She started in year 5 and I was a bit concerned as a lot of the children start much earlier, given the level of competition. Monica has been extremely approachable from the onset. She has been so supportive, she willingly gave my daughter all the extra time she needed so that she can come up to speed. She is very positive, encouraging and motivating to the children while also maintaining the level of discipline required. We had tried two other very renowned classes in the Earley area but my daughter did not enjoy as their style of teaching was not engaging enough and they failed to understand each child and their potential. Whereas Monica knows every child and their strengths and weaknesses. She doesn’t run the class like a business but has a real love for teaching and that shows in every interaction we’ve had with her. My daughter liked this class from the very first one and has not looked back, she’s doing quite well now in her tests so far. Most importantly, she’s happy which is essential for healthy learning. This review is based solely on our personal experience with Monika, Mr. Mittal, and their team. My son has now got eligibility to apply for Reading School. Without hesitation, I can say this wouldn't have been possible without choosing Brilliant Tutors. We randomly selected Brilliant Tutors for a trial class during the middle of our son’s Year 4 and immediately knew it was the right fit. They provide all necessary materials and create a schedule that works for both us and my son. A wealth of support materials, online classes, and in-person sessions are offered throughout their 11+ preparation. Monika provides feedback whenever requested, tracks my son's progress, and offers one-on-one attention when needed. She even generously offered extra help during school holidays. We began with mock tests in Year 4 to assess my son's baseline. Their high-quality mocks provided clear insights into areas needing improvement. These exams were spread out throughout the second half of Year 5, allowing for gradual progress and assessment. There was enough time for kids to focus and improve. Their creative writing class was engaging and enjoyable for my son. Not only Monika and Mr. Mittal, but all the staff were supportive, providing feedback and suggestions whenever necessary. Sarah is very good Maths tutor. She helped our son to progress in Maths from good range (in year 9) to grade 9 in year 10 in a short time (6 months only). Sarah is very helpful, supportive and friendly. She always supports my son prior to his school exam, she prepares extra questions and happy to cover the topics that my son struggles with in school.

Although some of the courses may seem bit daunting at first, it's honestly a very relaxing and fun course. With top quality resources and examples coupled with the optimism and nonchalance of the tutor, you can really learn a lot in this place. Would highly recommend (especially for science).

Karen was a wonderful tutor for our son Edward during an emergency period of EOTAS. She really met him where he was with different elements of his learning and helped start to address the very significant gaps arising from the poor educational standard at his previous SEN school, slowly building his confidence and self-belief. Mark has been excellent for our son, helping him study for secondary school exams. He is an excellent tutor who makes studying fun, so much so that our son kept on his weekly sessions after his exams.

My son is in year 12 and studying AL Maths. Aldo is a very effective tutor and my son enjoys his lessons very much. He motivates students to achieve their best and keeps track of their progress. He is also very approachable.

Enrolling your child in Kumon is an excellent way to create discipline and interest in reading and maths. My child was in a different Kumon center prior to us moving to this location, and we have to say its been a fantastic experience here. Duhita and her team cater the work not only to a childs academic growth but also take into account personal and social development. I highly recommend enrolling your children in this particular location.

My two children have had Kumon maths lessons from the age of 7 and 4 respectively. They are now 15 and 12. Kumon has been a massive part of their success. Not only are they considerably advanced for their age at maths, the confidence it has given them has boosted their performance across all subjects. Kumon lessons are great value and the support offered has been so professional yet kind and child-centred. Thank you Duhita and team!

All three of my children have taken maths, at Kumon in Guildford. We started for various reasons and have ended at different times. My last child has now been doing it for three years now and is two years ahead of where she should be. This was evident in home schooling in lockdown when we were completing year eight maths and she is in year six. Kumon has continued through lockdown with zoom lessons. I could book an individual lesson if stuck and could contact through Whats app and text. Work was easy to exchange with little notes of encouragement. My daughter is determined to finish the program. Ultimately she says she wants to take maths and further maths at A level. Even if this isn't your aim, Kumon will give you a great understanding of maths. Times tables will be known instantly which will help in all aspects of life. The Guildford group is welcoming and when we are allowed to meet again, easy to find. Nicky Gale.

I tutor in English for Students Intuition and really can't speak highly enough of them! The team look after all of the admin, allowing us tutors to get on with what we do best and everyone is so friendly. You feel really supported and looked after - I love tutoring for SI!

Students Intuition have been so friendly and effiencent to work with. Although I have never had the need to meet any of the team I have spoken on the 'phone and had regular email contact. They are flexible, personable and I cannot fault their professionalism. My GCSE age daughter has used Math and English tutors through the company. We decided that one of the tutors wasn't working for us but we were fully supported by the company to change to someone else. Our Math tutor has been a complete saviour and cannot be rated highly enough. We wanted additional coaching for W so that he didn't get any surprises for a school entry assessment for Year 3. Amanda had researched the curriculum for his age thoroughly and had planned her sessions to cover all the key areas that W might be presented with. W really engaged with Amanda as she coaxed him gently into the session asking questions about his week and then applying a relevant point to the subject matter she wanted to cover. She gauged his attention span well, switching topics and momentum when he was beginning to tire of a particular area. I would definitely recommend Amanda again.
