Mrs Catherine is the best and fantastic teacher for little kids who like to play. She structures her lessons in such way that the kids feel like they move from one game to another. A few weeks later they can read and count with great confidence they didn't have before. If you are lucky and get a place in Mrs Catherine's diary, make sure to hold your child's hand firmly on your way to Mrs Catherine - the kids usually run full speed towards her house in anticipation of a great fun lesson. 😀

I can’t recommend Catherine more! Within weeks, I could see how much my daughter’s confidence has grown. She has advanced quite quickly with her reading, no more tears trying to read more than 4 letter words. She now loves reading and trying out new words. Catherine is engaging, patient and makes reading fun and enjoyable.

David has supported both my children individually in maths over many years, my son from yr7-11 and my daughter subsequently from year 4, who is now in year 10. He has been fantastic! My son said David was “Very good at structural revision. Good at teaching step by step and also pushes you to achieve the best you can.” He managed to encourage my son to realise how he could do really well in the higher maths GCSE and in fact he achieved a grade6 which for a dyslexic was fantastic! My daughter says “David is really good at letting you learn the way that suits you rather than forcing you to do maths a particular way”. She’s determined now she has the confidence in herself, to also take the higher paper. As a parent I feel relaxed that David will support my child for long term achievement. They’ve always liked the way he uses the iPad so they can write on the screen and he sets useful homework to practice what they learn each week, if you want that. We are really happy with David’s support.

I was the first child David ever tutored, I cannot express the gratitude I have for this man. Not only did he figure out how my brain worked and tailor our lessons to help me grasps concepts, breaking things down in ways I could understand, he also helped figure out how to motivate me. He came each week with determination, patience and empathy. I would not have become a Leeds university graduate without his tutoring. I couldn't recommend anyone more, you won't find anyone as good at tailoring to individual educational and emotional needs.

David stepped in when withdrew my daughter from school for a year when she was in year 8. When she returned to the school system she was on target, if not ahead of her peers. My daughter doesn't find Maths comes naturally to her but David found fun new ways to help her enjoy the subject. She has requested that she has some extra tuition with David when she is taking her GCSEs which is high praise considering she isn't forthcoming in taking on extra work! We would definitely recommend David to anyone looking to help their kids engage with a tricky subject.

This is a wonderful centre and the staff have really taken the time to get to know my child and have helped him tremendously with his learning, it makes such a difference to when your child walks out of the centre with a smile on his face and remarks how kind they have been to him. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.
