John and the team really came through for a Greek themed platter for 20ppl. Delivered on time at late notice and the Birthday Boy and team at the office all enjoyed the food. Highly recommend. Amy

I absolutely love this cafe, they are always so friendly and welcoming. The food and drink is delicious and as an added bonus today, they arranged a complimentary shuttle for 4 with Tesla to Guildford station. We had a lovely Tesla representive, who gave us lots of information about the brand and the vehicle and thankfully, made sure we all still got our train into London Waterloo without being too late, thank you Ritual and thank you Tesla .

I have had many coffees when catching the train and they’ve always been very good, but tonight they did a special burger treat and that was one of the best burgers I’ve had. I hope this burger business becomes more regular.

Lovely cakes. They had baklava when I was there last time. It was amazing. Coffee is nice. Dog friendly. Nice calming background music. Very domestic vibes. We will be back.

Loved this quaint, beautiful tea shop with so many interesting wall hangings... And the beautiful collection of tea pots and tea cups behind the counter. Only had time for a very quick cuppa, the friendly person brought it very fast. I'll be back to enjoy some of the gorgeous, eats!

Wonderful cafe. Staff were fantastic and extremely accommodating! Big portions and tasty cakes! I'll certainly be visiting again at the next opportunity and would highly recommend!

Update (July 2024) We are regulars and are delighted with their new matcha delight. We just got a tub and had it for dessert after dinner. The flavors of Uji Kyoto ended our day marvelously. We have anniversaries in April (2020) and, although the early lockdown was already daunting, their ice-cream delivery services made our days special indeed. We usually tend to buy their ice cream in a big tub in two flavours in layers so we can continue to enjoy them at home. (They do sell their cones and buying in bulk is economical!) They have a good range of vegan selections; and their vegan ginger and orange chocolate slice - OMG a heavenly delight! PS (Summer 2021) We've just had their ice-cream milk shakes (mixture of two types of ice creams of one's choice). It was a delightful different experience recommended for the regulars!

The place looks good, but it's small, need queuing outside. Ice cream are fair portions and smooth, taste nice but certainly not delightful.

Exceptionally welcoming, helpful and friendly people running this delightful little place! We had the most amazing hot chocolates! I tried the ruby hot chocolate which was so so delicious I wish I lived closer, I’d be there all the time 😆. Both the man and the lady working that day were really sweet and helpful and very knowledgeable too. We’d highly recommend.. they made us feel more than welcome 🤗

A lovely lunch with my husband and our dog Floki. We had a delicious chicken & bacon sandwich with salad, savory toasted croissant and crispy sweet potato fries. We all felt welcomed and the place is super cute. Thank you!

*dog friendly* Visited Huskins for a lazy Friday lunch while we were exploring the town. Such a warm welcome upon arrival. The decor is beautifu,l the bathrooms clean and they welcomed Toby with a mat & bowl. The food did not disappoint. Good menu including (Lavazza) coffee and cake. The BBQ wings were crispy and hot. The triple cheese burgers were juicy and I was able to upgrade mine with bacon & sweet potato fries. Oh 😮 the cocktails were lush especially the espresso martini. If you're in Godalming, this is where to stop.

We’ve just had an excellent breakfast 1x smoke salmon 1x on toast avocado, poached egg and bacon 1x full English. Lovely welcoming relaxed atmosphere, looking forward to coming back and trying their lunch menu.

Came here for Leicester birthday and had a great time. Staff were very friendly, good drinks and great decor. Could do with some background music.

The best coffee in Godalming :) We stopped here twice, because once wasn’t enough, and got the pumpkin spiced latte both times. While we didn’t get any cakes, it looked incredibly tempting. There is also chess and board games available, which is great for a rainy day. The interior is very welcoming and cosy and it is dog-friendly, with dog biscuits and water.

Great little stop, very close to Surrey Orthodontists which makes it handy for a quick tea or coffee if you’re early for an appointment. Always friendly, quiet. Not an overwhelming environment for those with ASC/SPD.

Superb coffee and a cozy atmosphere! Voted the best in all of Surrey, and I couldn’t agree more. Merve is unbelievably friendly and personable. The baklava was the perfect addition to my cappuccino. Highly recommend this spot—I'll definitely be back!

The best coffee in Godalming, hands down! We recently moved to the area and a visit here helped us choose the area knowing we could come here for an independent coffee! For anyone getting a takeaway coffee from one of the chains, please give The Journalist a go, you won’t regret it!

Great little place! Very friendly and good service. Support them and pay cash when you visit as being a small business, 100% of cash goes to them rather than card as a % goes to the card company and they loose out! Great waffles, fresh and stunning. Wish i had taken a photo!

Great sausage and bacon baps and coffee. Friendly service. Only thing to improve is that it could be better value for money.

Amazing environment and lovely owners, the farm shop has organic and fine produce and the coffee is the best I have ever had. My daughter loved the artisan hot chocolate and we played connect 4. Lots of off street parking by inn on the lake and Grove Road. Thank you for a lovely Saturday and I hope to return soon🌟

Lovely cafe and quaint farm shop- what a find! 😊 Never seen such a sophisticated coffee machine in my life- It does caffeinated or decaf coffee. Also, oat or normal milk using high quality products. Making the coffee yourself gives you the option of how much syrup etc for the health contious. All in all a unique addition to Godalming. Lovely lovely lovely!

I live in Guildford and my friend told me about the wide variety of fine groceries and the beautiful décor, I was not disappointed! It was so comfy and everything was so well researched and accommodating. This is now my second visit and I just love the seating area as my kids can play a board game while i read a book, the hot chocolate i recommend 100000%

Never been so impressed by such a small, independent, store. Beautifully arranged and only good quality, good ingredients and, largely, locally sourced products Hira (the owner) is really personable and goes the extra mile with all her customers. The coffee machine is the most advanced I’ve ever seen anywhere and the results don’t disappoint. The next room features a small sit down area with board games and books available on the bookcase. Can’t wait to visit for a second time!

Lovely restaurant with excellent decoration. Always busy, even on a Monday night.. so make sure you book. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was polite and he had the best customer service I've seen for a while.

Delicious Thai food! The service elevated the experience even more, the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and elegant and finally the food is of the highest quality! I usually like my food spicy and they were happy to accommodate. I recommend The Greedy Elephant Special Fried Rice - will definitely come back 😊

Delicious Thai food that tastes really authentic. Perfect cosy night dining in or lazing outside in the garden on a sunny day. Great wine and cocktail selection too. Love this place - go often.

Late morning on a Thursday - Not crowded but busy. Two great breakfasts and a superb king-size burger. Nice cup of tea and a latte. Great service, will come again when in town. Parking close by in public car park.

Classic British cafe. Decent quality of ingredients on the breakfast. Friendly guys running the place. All you can ask for really. Spent about £20 for two breakfasts with drinks.

We absolutely revere Godalming Cafe. My boss was recommended it by his previous work mate and as we work in the area, either a very bad day or very good day will often result in a trip here. Excellent all-day breakfasts (Freshly squeezed orange juice in pints and freshly made smoothies are also exceptional) with massive portions at very good value for money, friendly staff and good service. Would choose this place above the overpriced high street chain cafe's every damn time.

Very cosy and welcoming setting, we booked for a large group and staff was very nice (the wait was a bit long but we weren’t in any hurry) I recommend the steak pies with homemade crust 🥧

Lovely building. Friendly staff. Tried some of the "nibbles" on the menu which were superb ! The mains were Crispy Beef on Salad with Cashews ( Excellent ) and A Quiche Lorraine which , my partner, felt was far too oniony for her tastes. Having said that, we enjoyed our experience and we will come back again soon.

Beautiful venue, excellent food and service. We are definitely going back. It's a bit of a drive for us but worth it. Service and everything as good as the first and previous times. Manager, waiters and waitresses are excellent people.
