One of my favorite things to do is walk the Great Park with the dog and stop here for lunch. The setting is wonderful and we particuarly enjoy seeing all the horses on the polo pitches. To have access to such authentic Argentine food is a rare treat. My children love the Empanadas!

Really lovely atmosphere on a sunny summer's day. Great place to have a refreshment and a bite to eat while on a walk around the Polo field. Ordered a Mocha and a Latte which were both spot on, and also a Ham and Cheese Toastie. The Toastie was relatively small, but it had great quality ham and was fairly cheap. All came to a total of £9.95. Will definitely be back.

Really nice looking and more importantly tasting salad this is the Super Food salad. Sitting in the park dogs have doggy ice cream so they are happy. Dropped a star for service only because the line was very long and very slow but well worth the wait.

Amazing home made Argentine food in a stunning setting! Don’t be deterred there is public access and well worth it! I ordered in advance and food was right on time. Will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful place to visit. Easy walks on clear paths. Two parking machines were out of action which meant a long queue to pay for parking at the end, which was a shame. Given how much money the parking is they really could do with sorting that.

What a Beautiful and Tranquil place. CarPark quite expensive and closes at 17:30. Lots of dog walkers and even has a dog bath for £3.50

can get really busy at times and parking is limited .really nice cafe and small shop. once your in it's an amazing place really beautiful great for dogs. just make sure if you have kids get them to use the loos as some of the walks are long and there are no toilets on the way.other than that it's a good day out. we stayed for 4hrs and it cost £12:40.

We visited for the seafood weekend, this pub never disappoints. The food was exceptional, as was the wine list. It felt like being on holiday with the sun shining in their pub garden area with such delicious fish, fizz and rose. Can’t wait to visit again!

Dined as a group of 10, 9 adults and a child. Had to move the booking around a bit but staff were accommodating. Sunday roast was amazing!!! 6/9 had lamb which was out of this world, amazing sides and very generous servings - we took home lunch for the next day. Would definitely return. Parking is on street, but we didn't struggle.

August 2024: I felt compelled to re-review this gastropub and reduced it 3.5 stars but giving 4 here. Why? My hot seafood platter at £55 was very disappointing. 6 white baits and calamari that tasted of batter only. The half lobster was overcooked and rubbery. The best thing in that platter was the cod cheek. Tasted very good. I waited a while for this seafood weekend. And it was disappointing. If I were to go again it wouldn’t be for the platter. The sea bream was superb. And the white baits starter was worth it! Next time I’d get a 4 starts and that would still be cheaper than the platter and portion size would be so much more. The lobster here wasn’t worth it unfortunately. Service was 3.5-4 stars. It was a bit slow considering it wasn’t busy. It’s like we were an afterthought. A lady of age was so much better. I recommended this pub to so many of my connections and I was going to make this our regular. However after this second visit…. I don’t know. I’m now unconvinced and it’s a shame. I just feel disappointed that it’s a hit and miss. And I feel bad for recommending it. Maybe I’ll give it another go before deciding for sure. We had the platter, fish and chips, bream as main, white baits starter, 1 dessert, 2 teas was over £126 (including service). October 2023: I’m giving it all 5 stars eventhough it could be better because nothing is perfect right? Example the service could be better because the girl looked shell shocked when we arrived and said I’ve booked a table for 3. Even our son noticed it and kept asking us why was she surprised as he could see our names in the book. But after that a lady of age was super nice. Top notch customer service. Atmosphere should just be 4.5 because it’s a bit shabby chic inside and out. However, perhaps that’s the charm. It’s cosy. It’s ok. Food - this is where they excelled. I went there because of the reviews. It’s very very good. We had 2 starters, tea for 2, 3 mains and 1 dessert. With tip, just under £96. So not bad. I’d definitely recommend the beetroot salad with goats cheese. It has hazelnuts in it. The burger came medium rare so ask if you’d like it cooked more. We weren’t asked but we also forgot to ask. Everything - delicioso!!

Googled a pub in a central radius for meeting up with friends. Fish, catch of the day was so tasty with vegetables and creamy mash. Great pub food and nice local atmosphere. Parking available and quiz night on a Wednesday.

I used to live here 11 year ago and this little but long established resto is still our favourite local italian restaurant despite the nearby Piccolino and Prezzo. Try the crabmeat and prawn pasta in spicy tomato sauce. It’s fresh and delicious. Portion is generous and their pizzas are also excellent. Still our local favourite!

Have had lunch here twice since they reopened after a summer break and interior renovation. Ali (server) was extremely friendly and kind on both occasions. The portions are beyond generous and the pizzas, pasta and chicken all delicious. On both occasions, my family ate for less than £20 per person with plenty leftover to take home. Service is included which makes settling the bill easy. We are new to the area, but we’re already certain this restaurant will become one of our top three regulars.

Good tea service with a proper pot and crockery. And top marks for an all-day breakfast menu too. Had the spicy scrambled egg which was hearty, wholesome and huge enough to share. Didn't fancy the cakes but the winter compote made a good sweet.

Great brunch yesterday. Was recommended by a friends and was far from disappointed! Really nice coffee and my smashed avocado on sourdough was great. The hash browns I got on the side were fresh and crispy. Will continue the chain and recommend to a friend.

Props to the man in the burger van. Perfectly crispy bacon roll and bap served in under 5mins. Much better than the lark at the front car park.

It was great food, the amount of staff was small but the food came very quickly. AMAZING!!

It's was really good. There wasn't any lines and the food came in under 5 minutes. The service was good too, the staff was polite and professional. I would recommend coming.

Excellent venue with acres of varied plants, shrubs and trees. A lot of walking if you want to see it all, (about 5 miles - 8 km). Great restaurant and shop in a oak roofed centre. Oak was harvested from the garden itself to make it truly recyclable! Beautiful toilets are a sight to behold.

We’ve visited this lovely place many times. This time we visited the restaurant and the adventure park. Absolutely stunning place! Very reasonable and high quality fresh food. The adventure park was £56 for 2 adults and 2 children (your parking is validated when you pay so the car park is free) highly recommend going either on the first session or last session of the day as it’s not that busy. Kids loved it, we loved it. Excellent day!

Beautiful place, lots to see and walk around. The grounds are immaculate and very well maintained. Worth a visit any time of year but particularly impressive during the summer and on a sunny day. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Loved seeing the beautifully kept gardens, still blooming at this time of year. A pleasant walk for some peace and tranquility. The cafe is also really nice.

I only came across this wonderful gem of a cafe because I had to wait for my windscreen repair with the business next door with the same name. Amazing food, plenty of vegan options which I did not expect! Had a tasty tofu scramble on sourdough and a fabulous oat milk flat white in comfortable surroundings with friendly staff. What a genius idea to create this cafe so people can grab a bite and a drink while they wait 1-2 hrs for their windscreen to be done! Free WiFi too so one can even do some work while waiting, well, only if they absolutely must 😁 If this place was near me I would come even if I didn't need a windscreen repairing!

Find of the week! I went to get my windscreen fixed next door, came here to grab a coffee and wait. Staff were so friendly and the coffee was so good I thought I'd eat too. Was very happy with my enchiladas 😋 9 pound for a nice big spicy one with a very fresh salad. And I mean a salad, not a leaf with a tomatoe on it. A full salad. I wouldn't say I'd crack my windscreen just to come back, but I'll swing by again in the future for sure. Go check it out.

A lunch to remember, let me tell you. The food was nice. Could have been hotter and the bacon and black pudding could have been cooked longer. My mocha was very nice and chocolatey, and as photographed, comes with a biscoff biscuit which was swiftly nicked by my partner. The staff were friendly although the tension pouring out the kitchen was palpable. After deep consideration and attentive eavesdropping, my partner and I did figure out the root of the tension. Really enjoyed the visit and have also heard they have great milkshakes.

We went here today for brunch with friends and 2 under 3s. Very cute spot, we had a lovely brunch, the staff were very friendly. There's parking outside and baby changing facilities. We will be back. Totally recommend!!

Ideal for a short and nice break after hiking. Especially Pinky, Lance and the whole other team are very friendly. Their Cortado is very lovely.
