Beautifully kept landscaped gardens. Something spectacular around every corner, even in winter. Disabled friendly and easy to navigate paths. Clean facilities. Ample parking.

Loved seeing the beautifully kept gardens, still blooming at this time of year. A pleasant walk for some peace and tranquility. The cafe is also really nice.

Beautiful place, lots to see and walk around. The grounds are immaculate and very well maintained. Worth a visit any time of year but particularly impressive during the summer and on a sunny day. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

Excellent venue with acres of varied plants, shrubs and trees. A lot of walking if you want to see it all, (about 5 miles - 8 km). Great restaurant and shop in a oak roofed centre. Oak was harvested from the garden itself to make it truly recyclable! Beautiful toilets are a sight to behold.

can get really busy at times and parking is limited .really nice cafe and small shop. once your in it's an amazing place really beautiful great for dogs. just make sure if you have kids get them to use the loos as some of the walks are long and there are no toilets on the way.other than that it's a good day out. we stayed for 4hrs and it cost £12:40.

A great place for a gentle walk. Lots of camera quality views out across the lake. Dog friendly but must be kept on a leash. They have dog cleaning facilities at the park entrance/exit. The restaurant, curio shop and toilet facilities at the entrance are spotless and very well managed. On a somewhat negative note, while entrance to the park is free, the cost of parking is high, around £10 for a couple of hours.

Beautiful place to visit. Easy walks on clear paths. Two parking machines were out of action which meant a long queue to pay for parking at the end, which was a shame. Given how much money the parking is they really could do with sorting that.

Really lovely atmosphere on a sunny summer's day. Great place to have a refreshment and a bite to eat while on a walk around the Polo field. Ordered a Mocha and a Latte which were both spot on, and also a Ham and Cheese Toastie. The Toastie was relatively small, but it had great quality ham and was fairly cheap. All came to a total of £9.95. Will definitely be back.

One of my favorite things to do is walk the Great Park with the dog and stop here for lunch. The setting is wonderful and we particuarly enjoy seeing all the horses on the polo pitches. To have access to such authentic Argentine food is a rare treat. My children love the Empanadas!

Amazing home made Argentine food in a stunning setting! Don’t be deterred there is public access and well worth it! I ordered in advance and food was right on time. Will definitely be back soon!

Really nice place, sadly the lone guy working there can't handle the masses queueing. He's working fast, but there's just too much. Still worth a visit and the wait as the food is nice.

It's was really good. There wasn't any lines and the food came in under 5 minutes. The service was good too, the staff was polite and professional. I would recommend coming.

Props to the man in the burger van. Perfectly crispy bacon roll and bap served in under 5mins. Much better than the lark at the front car park.

I used to live here 11 year ago and this little but long established resto is still our favourite local italian restaurant despite the nearby Piccolino and Prezzo. Try the crabmeat and prawn pasta in spicy tomato sauce. It’s fresh and delicious. Portion is generous and their pizzas are also excellent. Still our local favourite!

Have had lunch here twice since they reopened after a summer break and interior renovation. Ali (server) was extremely friendly and kind on both occasions. The portions are beyond generous and the pizzas, pasta and chicken all delicious. On both occasions, my family ate for less than £20 per person with plenty leftover to take home. Service is included which makes settling the bill easy. We are new to the area, but we’re already certain this restaurant will become one of our top three regulars.

We visited for the seafood weekend, this pub never disappoints. The food was exceptional, as was the wine list. It felt like being on holiday with the sun shining in their pub garden area with such delicious fish, fizz and rose. Can’t wait to visit again!

August 2024: I felt compelled to re-review this gastropub and reduced it 3.5 stars but giving 4 here. Why? My hot seafood platter at £55 was very disappointing. 6 white baits and calamari that tasted of batter only. The half lobster was overcooked and rubbery. The best thing in that platter was the cod cheek. Tasted very good. I waited a while for this seafood weekend. And it was disappointing. If I were to go again it wouldn’t be for the platter. The sea bream was superb. And the white baits starter was worth it! Next time I’d get a 4 starts and that would still be cheaper than the platter and portion size would be so much more. The lobster here wasn’t worth it unfortunately. Service was 3.5-4 stars. It was a bit slow considering it wasn’t busy. It’s like we were an afterthought. A lady of age was so much better. I recommended this pub to so many of my connections and I was going to make this our regular. However after this second visit…. I don’t know. I’m now unconvinced and it’s a shame. I just feel disappointed that it’s a hit and miss. And I feel bad for recommending it. Maybe I’ll give it another go before deciding for sure. We had the platter, fish and chips, bream as main, white baits starter, 1 dessert, 2 teas was over £126 (including service). October 2023: I’m giving it all 5 stars eventhough it could be better because nothing is perfect right? Example the service could be better because the girl looked shell shocked when we arrived and said I’ve booked a table for 3. Even our son noticed it and kept asking us why was she surprised as he could see our names in the book. But after that a lady of age was super nice. Top notch customer service. Atmosphere should just be 4.5 because it’s a bit shabby chic inside and out. However, perhaps that’s the charm. It’s cosy. It’s ok. Food - this is where they excelled. I went there because of the reviews. It’s very very good. We had 2 starters, tea for 2, 3 mains and 1 dessert. With tip, just under £96. So not bad. I’d definitely recommend the beetroot salad with goats cheese. It has hazelnuts in it. The burger came medium rare so ask if you’d like it cooked more. We weren’t asked but we also forgot to ask. Everything - delicioso!!

Googled a pub in a central radius for meeting up with friends. Fish, catch of the day was so tasty with vegetables and creamy mash. Great pub food and nice local atmosphere. Parking available and quiz night on a Wednesday.

Everything about the Sunday lunch was exceptional. The whole atmosphere, decor and table arrangements, the food delicious, the wine excellent. Above all the staff were absolutely fantastic and served perfectly. Smart, friendly, helpful. We were quite a lively party, but the whole pub/restaurant had a fabulous vibe. Thank you. Great brunch yesterday. Was recommended by a friends and was far from disappointed! Really nice coffee and my smashed avocado on sourdough was great. The hash browns I got on the side were fresh and crispy. Will continue the chain and recommend to a friend.

Good tea service with a proper pot and crockery. And top marks for an all-day breakfast menu too. Had the spicy scrambled egg which was hearty, wholesome and huge enough to share. Didn't fancy the cakes but the winter compote made a good sweet.

Absolutely delicious food with a lot of selection. They offer breakfast menu all day and lunch which contains diverse cuisines and options. The food was high quality and healthy with beautiful presentation. Myself and my partner came here for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. They also offered takeaway which made me happy as it would be a shame to waste it. There is so much on the menu we are definitely going back. Additionally, dogs are allowed which is fantastic.

The atmosphere was fabulous it has an amazing vibe we had such a great night! The staff were lovely our waitress Lottie was top notch! But the linguine was disappointing not enough flavour or chilli. Cocktails were superb But would definitely go back. Great night!

We really enjoyed our lunch at Piccolino Restaurant in Virginia Water. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff were very approachable, and I loved the atmosphere as well. I would recommend it even more if they played jazz music in the background

I've come here a number of times and it's always really good. The food is excellent quality and the staff are always friendly. It's a beautiful looking restaurant with a nice classy chilled atmosphere. Extensive menu with lots of special dishes to choose from, I had the seared tuna encrusted in crushed pistachios which was delicious. Very fresh and delicate tasting, you could tell a lot of care went into preparing this dish. Looking forward to going back again!

Great vibes and food. Went for dinner with friends. The waitress was lovely. We had the truffle burrata, diavola pizza and lasagne. Really tasty, the lasagne was a bit dry though. Chocolate fondant to die for as a dessert.

I dropped in here for second breakfast while changing trains. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was excellent.

Lance is really lovely and friendly, he always goes above and beyond to help!
