I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

Samar provided an excellent service from the initial enquiry, the question and quote stage, and on the day of installation. Samar remained on site from installing the EV charger right through to ensuring it was recognised by the HIVE app. He didn’t leave the site until the charger was useable which involved contacting HIVE multiple times and logging into the laptop to manage the options and set up. Samar also made a very neat job of both the inside electrics as well as on the exterior, avoiding any visible wires. This was much appreciated as this would have shown on the white render. All paperwork and certificates followed through on the same day. I couldn’t recommend Samar more highly.

We had our house rewired by Direct Electric Solutions and have nothing but good things to say. Communication with Becky is excellent. She is quick to reply, answering any questions we had. Dean gave us great advice and suggestions to best use the space we had and putting plugs and switches in the most ideal places. The team that came to do the work were fantastic. All of the team were polite and professional. You wouldn’t even know they had been here at the end of the day, they cleaned everything away very well. Nothing was too difficult for them, and if we had changes they happily did them. Samsun and his team did the electrics for our loft extension. Samsun was great - he came on site at the beginning and helped us worked out where plugs and lights should go. He came back to check on progress and kept in touch throughout the process. His guys, especially Kieran, were great. Really professional, respectful and very easy to work with. We asked Samsun to help us with an extra very small job ages after the loft was finished and Kieran came out the next week and fixed it immediately. Thank you Samsun and the team for such a positive experience.

Samsum and his team were brilliant. They worked with our builder on our extension and renovation. From they time of quoting to where we are now, nearly finished, they have been exceptional. We told them what we wanted and nothing was too much trouble. Offered great advice on fitting etc and was able to arrange for alarm system to be installed. Also added few extras that we changed during the build process. The finish was better than the products we had identified. Planning and attention to detail was wonderful. Few things done without cost as this provided a better outcome. Wonderful. Samsum also shared my liking for gadgets and technology and nice to see someone in the trade show a true passion for their work and also for the outcome the client gets. I think there was some TV envy!!! Wifi works like a dream, OLED tv has pride of place in the living room, so much so that I cannot get to watch it as the kids seem to like it so much. Understandable delays caused by Covid were never and issue as Samsun would keep updated daily if needed. If there is every anything further we need doing, then Samsun and his team will be the only people we call. It was a pleasure to have Samsun and the SG Electrical Team in our house and we are so pleased with the end product.

My wife and I recently undertook a full house renovation on our cottage in Weybridge and SG Electrical oversaw absolutely everything related to the electrics. This included a full rewire of the house but also the installation of CAT-6 data cables and access points to improve the home Wi-Fi and a smart home heating system. From first meeting with them, they took us through the whole home advising on where best to place sockets and switches and their expertise was obvious from this point. We were extremely impressed with their knowledge of modern technology and how to implement it across the home. We followed their advice happily - and are very glad we did. There were no issues at all during the work and everything was completed on time, on budget and everything works as expected. I would have absolutely no reservations in recommending SG Electrical. I've had work done twice now with George, once for some light fitting/switch and once for installation of an appliance. Both times George was very responsive, professional, friendly and importantly communicated in a clear and understandable way. Both jobs were completed without fuss, in a timely manner and at a very fair price. Not only would I not hesitate to call him again for anything electrical, he makes it easy to refer to friends and neighbours for their needs as well. George attended site punctually at the agreed time without any fuss. He rectified a fault with the earth wiring on our lighting circuit. As this was completed very quickly without a fuss he then was able to install the intermediate lighting I had planned out on the same day. I'm very pleased that I engaged Rowland to sort out the outdoor lighting in my driveway and garden/patio area. When I called him with my initial enquiry, he was very helpful with some initial ideas and made himself available for an exploratory visit and discussion the next day. During his visit, he immediately impressed me with his knowledge and passion for finding the best solution for my needs. Once we agreed on the plans, he promptly sent me a quote for the work, which was a very fair price. He communicated very clearly and proactively regarding his exact arrival times on the agreed days, and completed the work on time, and slightly under budget. I'm really happy with the end result! I came home from my holiday to find that my roof had leaked and some of the electrics had been affected. So just to be safe I asked Rowland of Brightlights solutions if he could do an electrical survey to make sure nothing was seriously wrong with the electrics and to make sure it was all safe. Rowland himself was extremely busy as electricians are but he sent round his colleague Garth instead. Garth was extremely well mannered and knowledgeable. He worked very quietly and quickly. He even has indoor shoes in order to keep your floors clean which was very unexpected but a really nice touch. I will always use Brightlights and forever recommend them with confidence because it doesn’t matter who shows up at your house, you know if you’ve called Brightlights then they’ll have unparalleled knowledge and you’ll be getting the best possible service.

Rowland and Garth are both excellent electricians who have worked on our first house 8 years ago and then this month on our latest house. They are our first and only go to electricians, as they know their stuff and always work to find a solution for whatever we need. I’m so pleased with the painting Bogdan did in my front room and kitchen. The work was done in only two days but to a very high standard and Bogdan did some repairs to the walls, ceiling and skirting boards too to get it looking even smarter. There was no mess left behind with the rooms getting cleaned up after the work and all furniture put back in place. Would fully recommend and would use again.

Very pleased with Bogdan's service. He and his colleague arrived on time and completed the work in one day including taking down the climbing clematis, removing black mould and applying inhibitor, followed by two coats of paint and then putting back the climbing hydrangea on its original wires. Everything below the painting protected with plastic sheeting and no mess to clear up. Highly recomended.

Bogdan was polite and professional throughout the quoting process and the installation of the 3 exterior lights. He was no problem to have around while I was working from home, only checking in with me a few times to see if I was happy with the decisions he was making. We had an issue with some of the electrical sockets and wiring after it was overloaded. I called Arek and he was able to come very promptly to look at the issue. He inspected everything very thoroughly and was able to fix the issue as well as other issues he found after inspection. He charged a reasonable amount for the work he did and left everything very tidy. I will definitely be using Arek again in the future and would recommend him to anyone!
