Bogdan was polite and professional throughout the quoting process and the installation of the 3 exterior lights. He was no problem to have around while I was working from home, only checking in with me a few times to see if I was happy with the decisions he was making. The result was fantastic, so neat and tidy, and there was no mess left to clear after the work was completed. Would absolutely recommend his work and hire again.

Very pleased with Bogdan's service. He and his colleague arrived on time and completed the work in one day including taking down the climbing clematis, removing black mould and applying inhibitor, followed by two coats of paint and then putting back the climbing hydrangea on its original wires. Everything below the painting protected with plastic sheeting and no mess to clear up. Highly recomended.

Bogdan was excellent. Very professional, great attention to detail and really cared about doing the job as well as possible. He installed some IKEA cabinets for us and fixed a stuck wooden door. He’s great to deal with, very clear in describing the work, friendly, courteous around the house. Highly recommend him.

I’m so pleased with the painting Bogdan did in my front room and kitchen. The work was done in only two days but to a very high standard and Bogdan did some repairs to the walls, ceiling and skirting boards too to get it looking even smarter. There was no mess left behind with the rooms getting cleaned up after the work and all furniture put back in place. Would fully recommend and would use again.

Very happy to recommend Bogdan for painting. I'm very pleased with his work. Communication was easy, quote was quick. He has a good eye for colour and I went with a couple of his suggestions. He turns up on time, works hard, pays attention to detail. His preparation is first class. Alex was great too. Both cheerful and friendly. I had three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen painted in four days along with a coat cupboard that needed a ceiling repair. I will be using Bogdan again and have already had him quote for external painting for my mother's home.

I've had work done twice now with George, once for some light fitting/switch and once for installation of an appliance. Both times George was very responsive, professional, friendly and importantly communicated in a clear and understandable way. George attended site punctually at the agreed time without any fuss. He rectified a fault with the earth wiring on our lighting circuit. As this was completed very quickly without a fuss he then was able to install the intermediate lighting I had planned out on the same day. This too was tackled with diligence and professionalism, the site was left tidy and the work was excellent value for money in time saved. Thank you for your help again!

Tom came over after we had a problem with the lights upstairs. We‘d been having some issues with our heating & lighting for a while and previous electricians and plumbers did a quick fix that didn’t work. We found Tom on Google and after reading the good reviews, gave him a call. He identified the problem straight away and did a great job of re-wiring everything. He was very thorough with his work, explaining what he was doing all along and left everything very tidy at the end. We’d definitely recommend for any electrical work and will be using him moving forward.

I'm very pleased that I engaged Rowland to sort out the outdoor lighting in my driveway and garden/patio area. When I called him with my initial enquiry, he was very helpful with some initial ideas and made himself available for an exploratory visit and discussion the next day. During his visit, he immediately impressed me with his knowledge and passion for finding the best solution for my needs. Once we agreed on the plans, he promptly sent me a quote for the work, which was a very fair price. He communicated very clearly and proactively regarding his exact arrival times on the agreed days, and completed the work on time, and slightly under budget. I'm really happy with the end result! I came home from my holiday to find that my roof had leaked and some of the electrics had been affected. So just to be safe I asked Rowland of Brightlights solutions if he could do an electrical survey to make sure nothing was seriously wrong with the electrics and to make sure it was all safe. Rowland himself was extremely busy as electricians are but he sent round his colleague Garth instead. Garth was extremely well mannered and knowledgeable. He worked very quietly and quickly. He even has indoor shoes in order to keep your floors clean which was very unexpected but a really nice touch. I will always use Brightlights and forever recommend them with confidence because it doesn’t matter who shows up at your house, you know if you’ve called Brightlights then they’ll have unparalleled knowledge and you’ll be getting the best possible service.

We had our house rewired by Direct Electric Solutions and have nothing but good things to say. Communication with Becky is excellent. She is quick to reply, answering any questions we had. Dean gave us great advice and suggestions to best use the space we had and putting plugs and switches in the most ideal places. The team that came to do the work were fantastic. George, Dave and Tyler were involved in the process from the beginning and explained what was needed and the costs. The first day was for electrical testing and fitting a new timer and thermostat. The second and third days were remedial work to obtain an electrical installation certificate. There was a problem with the timer due to the old gravity fed heating system that I have but the problem was explained and a solution found for the problem. All were easy to talk to, polite and helpful.
