I asked for some rewiring work to be done and EICR. I was very impressed by the quality of work Jack provided. Both James and Jack listened carefully to their customers and understood their requirements very well. Jack patched up the wall and tidied up after he completed the work very well. I’d recommend them anytime!

James came over and assessed the work we needed doing, and gave a very reasonable quote as compared to some other local electricians. He also went above and beyond the original ask, and quoted to change our thermostat system over to a Nest, which we asked to add on. The work was carried out efficiently, and he also managed to draft in a plumber at short notice for a small cylinder crisis very effectively as well. Justin and his team at CMD Electrical Services were very professional and experienced and we would definitely use them again for any electrical work that we need doing. They did the electrical work required in our newly renovated bedroom, fitted lights in our loft and hard wired our ring doorbell so we didn’t need to keep charging it. All work was carried out promptly and fitted in well with other trades that were doing work at the time. Very reasonably priced. Great company and highly recommend.

EV charger installed. Ron and Oz were great. Both really friendly and a professional job done, including making sure everything was tided up after. Ron briefed Oz in detail on the job and trusted him to get on with it, frest to see this trust between a manager and their staff. Oz was aware of animals in the house and kept it secure throughout so they could not get out. Called this Company for install work........ Very reliable and helpfull with an eye for detail. Would use again as they are Fast and honest with a no nonsense approach. The cost was very reasonable and the staffs knowledge is excellent. Paid by pdq at my home, there booking and payment system is fully automated. Since My job was done a friend also used them for a callout, they was also very pleased with the price and speed.

Cannot recommend this company enough. Had no power to my flat due to an electrical fire caused by poor wiring. Steve the electrician came in and tried to test and reconnect me but the main cable to the flat was old and dangerous to use. With the help of an abseiling team Steve and Mark rewired the main cable 6 stories down the communal wall and reconnected the power within days. Thank you Steve! Mark also educated me on the meaning of IP ratings whilst trying to buy light fittings for my bathroom. Fantastic knowledge! 👌🏼💥 Not the cheapest company to use but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny.

The operative was extremely helpful and technically very competent he explained the job in great detail, on what remedial work was needed and transparent about the cost and came across with very good integrity and would certainly use them again and can’t speak too highly about the service that is given.

Pete did an excellent job of installing a slightly tricky EV charger at our house. Tricky in terms of distance from junction box, feasibility of current electrics and adaptation, and efficiently managing some surprises along the way - such as the need to replace a poorly installed and well hidden earthing rod. We asked for the cabling to be as discreet as possible, without drilling and feeding through the wall. We also wanted our wall climbing plants to not be disturbed. Pete was careful of all this and was extremely courteous and passionate about the work he was doing. Great guy, great job! (EV Charger is a Hypervolt Space Grey)

We needed our main consumer unit to be upgraded to accommodate some additional electrical circuits for a loft conversion. It was in a small tight corner in a cupboard and clearly a challenging job. Other electricians looked at the job with much teeth sucking and head shaking but Andy from Nicholas Electrical was happy to take on the task and provided a very competitive quote. On the day he was tidy, friendly and respectful of our property whilst performing the work. The job was done in good time to a very high standard. The supporting testing certificates were provided soon after. All in all a faultless job performed by a highly knowledgeable professional who certainly appears to be more interested in exceeding customer expectations than making money. Thoroughly recommended.

This was a tricky installation because it involved replacement of existing garden lights fitted 8 years ago which were faulty. The wiring was buried under the soil now entangled in roots. The guys did an excellent job over 2 days and the lights look amazing and work very easily via an app. The work was completed with minimal disruption to the established garden. I would recommend Nicholas Electrical and would definitely use the company again.
