Paul came out at short notice, on a Sunday, as it was getting dark & cold to trace a main RCD fault to a badly wired socket. Explained everything really clearly and fixed the problem. Very polite and professional - would recommend.

Paul responded within 20 minutes to attend a recurring RCD trip fault. Following a few test Paul identified the cause and restored the circuit. Paul is very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Would certainly recommend.

I had no power in half of my house at night time. Paul came within 20 mins. Found why the RCD kept tripping and found the problem. Paul was very methodical in his approach to finding the fault and was explaining what he was testing every step of the way. The fault was found and resolved. Really happy as I had kids in the house. Matt, supported by brothers Ed & Tom and their team, did a fantastic job in rewiring our house. Our ageing downstairs electrics failed us towards the end of the summer, so we called Matt to help us out. We had a very full house; Matt helped us organise ourselves into making way for the job, suggesting lots of cost-saving approaches to help us prepare for the work and tidy up. Our living room dimmer switch gave up the ghost a week before Christmas (of course), and we were started to resign to the fact of holidays in dark. But Bourneside Electricals managed to squeeze us in and the problem was solved in no time. (And now I have those fancy bulbs in, with wifi control and colour choices all in working order...). Hayden recently did an excellent job replacing our consumer unit and getting electrics out to our garage. When we had a separate (and unrelated to the work he'd done) issue a few days later he came out at 4.30pm on a Friday and sorted it out for us. George attended site punctually at the agreed time without any fuss. He rectified a fault with the earth wiring on our lighting circuit. As this was completed very quickly without a fuss he then was able to install the intermediate lighting I had planned out on the same day. I've had work done twice now with George, once for some light fitting/switch and once for installation of an appliance. Both times George was very responsive, professional, friendly and importantly communicated in a clear and understandable way. Chris put in a new socket in the hall for me and took great care and effort to run the cabling behind the wall rather than on the outside which would have meant unsightly trunking to cover them. Friendly, professional service, brought his vacuum to remove bits on the floor and everything left clean and tidy. I will call use CJP again when I need an electrician.

For a business like ourselves that’s been established since 1976 we have used dozens of electrical firms for all sorts of work. From pac testing, to fill re wires and always been left short with satisfaction. Well that’s until we found maclaren electrical and owner connor. The service was better than any we’ve had with any trades that we have used over the years, he went over and beyond what we asked him to do in visit one and since he’s fixed so many things that other companies had clearly poorly done over the years. I couldn’t recommend Connor and his team enough and I’m actually trying to find things I want done electric wise just to get the boys back in as I I’m so impressed with the whole firm and what they provide. They also really understand the value of looking after clients in terms of value for money. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my commercial or domestic works. Our fuse board was a mess, upside down and in the most awkward a place, we got turned down by 3 london companies when asking to re fit it, then maclaren electrical come to have a look and I thought it was going to be the same but no, connor took the job on instantly without any fuss and just got it done. All he asked for was a vanilla latte! Can not recommend these guys enough they really got us out of a sticky situation as without the re fit our license would have been effected! Thanks
