Radhika and the whole teaching staff at Kumon Ashford, Middx have been extremely supportive to our children’s education and progress in both Maths and English. Radika’s approach is one which our children and ourselves enjoy and look forward to every week, providing a personalised approach in a friendly manner. We are indebted to Radika for her sincere, caring and thorough manner towards ourselves and our children over the past 7 years. My son has been attending kumon for many years and his performance and understanding of maths has rocketed. The format with the daily worksheets has helped him consolidate his understanding of particular topics. Generally each homework doesn’t take too long so it doesn’t get boring but the regularity means he retains the info better. When there are areas he’s struggling in Radhika and her team provide immediate support , even in days when he doesn’t attend the once weekly sessions.

Radhika has been so encouraging and supportive to my son which has really helped improve his maths hugely and maintain this high level over the years .

My kids have been attending for a good number of years and I have to say that Kumon has definately helped them improve in both Maths, English and given them more confidence in school, this is vindicated during parents evening as both receive glowing reports! All three of my children have been attending the Ashford (Middlesex) Kumon centre studying maths since the age of five.

Kumon has taught them how to work independently without me, as a parent having to continually remind them to do homework. It has has provided them a strong foundation for maths, putting all three of them in top sets, not only in maths but in all their academic subjects. Our eldest son has gone on to study A’ levels in maths and Further maths as a direct result from the skills and disciplines Kumon provided him from a young age.

Their instructor, Radhika has been one of the most dedicated, hard working individuals I have ever come across. She kept her centre running throughout Covid, going out of her way to personally dropping off papers to each of her students door-to-door. She even kept the centre open for her students to work in a safe environment when the building experienced flooding.

She genuinely and sincerely cares about each and every one of her students success and well-being. Nurturing the best out of each child in achieving their best.
Radhika allows the children to work at their own pace, providing individual support to build your child’s confidence. She has continued that support via social media, phone calls and text messages for my children, even when she’s not in class or when centre has been closed.

Radhika has always provided my children the opportunity to come into the centre and ask questions at anytime during opening hours, and has also given them their first opportunities at work experience. Providing them training on the reception desk, marking papers, recording data, supporting others in their work, all whilst earning their first wage.

As parents, we have seen the benefits of how Radhika’s centre has helped not only our children’s mental math ability but also the disciplines it teaches on so many other levels. I am so grateful to Radhika and her team for running such a professional and hardworking centre and what she has achieved so far.

So, if you’re new to Kumon or thinking about enrolling your child in the Ashford Centre, then let me tell you that, Kumon can be challenging at first and somewhat repetitive until you understand the concept but I can honestly say, it will be one of the most beneficial and rewarding things you can do for your child in the long run. You just need patience and to stick with it.

Radhika is a teacher who knows how to improve a child’s capabilities in Maths and English. My daughter attend Kumon and within 2 months I noticed an increase in skill set and was more confident when under taking a task. I would highly recommend visiting this centre if you feel your child needs that ‘extra push’. They will be tasked with homework everyday and there is space on the sheets where the child has to enter the start and end time. This is essential when prepping your child to understand the mechanics of time while under pressure during the exams.
