When we had an issue with our plumbing, we called out Callum to see if he could identify the issue and sort it out for us. There were a few things that stood out with his work and service. Firstly, the attention to detail – everything was wiped clean, lined up, left as he found it (probably even a little better). Secondly, that attention to detail meant that he didn’t try to solve the problem the quick way – he solved it the right way, even though this meant far more work on his part. He explained what he was doing at every stage and it was clear that he took a great deal of pride in doing an excellent job. With something that is so vital to your home as your water and heating, it’s the small details, the small things that matter. Having watched him work, I would have no hesitation in using Callum for further work, big and small.

These guys were excellent! We have a complex drain system from the 1800s which no one really understands fully. We have tried several of the local and national drain companies to help us with our problems but they have at best been unsuccessful or at worst unprofessional and cowboys. Firstly, I’ve given this firm a 5 star rating and would highly recommend due to these reasons. Outset: Read their superb reviews online and in particular mention of co-owner, Perry. Phone call into their professional call centre gave me immediate reassurance that they were professional and eager to solve my issue. I was informed that Perry was busy and I would be seeing instead their business partner, George. Expressing immediate concern I might get someone not as good, I was reassured that George was also excellent, although mentioned less on public reviews. (Shame on previous customers for not leaving more positive reviews) Issue: my Worcester combo boiler was playing up with intermittent hot water dropping off and showing a series of fault codes relating to the issue. (WINTER WITH BOILER ISSUES ARE NOT WORTH TAKING THE CHANCE!) Lead in: I was sent a number of realistic prompts via text message and emails explaining what to expect and managing my expectations for the day in advance of the service. Very professional for someone managing their busy diary. Day of Service: George turned up promptly with his new apprentice, Bradley. (Signs that the business is doing well!). First off, I was super impressed by both the gentleman who were respectful from the outset introducing themselves and removing shoes.George was polite and highly personable. In my experience of dealing with multiple tradesman over the years and myself coming from a background in the building trade, I couldn’t have wished for a more professional expert than George and found his mannerisms and conduct admirable in this day and age. Old school values and appeared truly honest in explaining everything and not pushing for need to replace etc. Job: thorough, taking time and precision to ensure everything was done, checked and put right. Post job: sent an invoice via email, which included a detailed diagnostic report to include future suggestions of things that may need to be looked at again in the future. All in all would have George back in an instance and would prompt anyone booking this firm to request his services personally. Merry Christmas H&G Solutions!

I am just moving to the area so don't know any local people or companies yet. After a gas engineer from another company had to cancel on me last minute, I called WTS in a bit of a panic and they were able to send me someone that same day, and at a reasonable price. Carl was professional and polite, and he showed up exactly on time. With pandemic measures in place (mask, gloves etc.) he still managed to be friendly as well as safe! One thing I would say is that there seems to be a problem with their phone system, in that the call was never able to connect when I was ringing them (not my phone, as I tested it with other numbers and it was working fine). But WTS were quick to ring me back and that connection always worked. Thank you for helping me out at the last minute. I will absolutely be calling WTS if I need their services again!

Fantastic and professional plumber came and resolved a number of problems for us, some we didn't even know about! He diagnosed the problem knowing the water system of a house in detail and how everything is connected, this meant he could show us how a problem in the kitchen was related to a problem in the loft! Went and got all the parts then came straight back and fixed it! Saved us a lot of stress and potential worse problems further down the line! Many thanks!
