Broken electric shower. After panicking, I called a plumber we knew. He did arrive but then left us feeling we had a huge problem and nothing he could do to help. We came across Ivor by chance. What a miracle, not only that he turned up, but on time too!! Before stepping over our doorstep he put on some blue plastic shoe covers which indicated how much he respected other peoples property. Ivor assessed the problem in no time. He provided the background to the faulty unit and how the electric circuit functioned. The entire operation was conducted in a highly professional manner , with an approach that left us in no doubt as to his experience and capabilities. We agreed terms and the work was carried out efficiently, that very morning! The site was left neat, clean and very tidy. Ivor is a gift to anyone needing guidance and skill. Highly recommended.

Ivo has been absolutely amazing every time he has helped us with any plumbing issue. He is knowledgeable, explains what and why he is doing anything and always answers my questions patiently. Richard visited my mothers today too replace very old bathroom mixer taps , After establishing it was impossible without replacing the bath which my mother did not want Richard did a fantastic job repairing the existing taps. I found Richard to be very professional, honest and showed a lot of care and concern for mum’s safety within the bathroom . I have worked with Richard and the team at Response Plumbing for many years on a number of small things. The time came for two new bathrooms at once and Richard delivered a high quality product in both. There were a few issues that Richard rectified and his attention to detail and refusal to accept lower quality made us very confident and secure in his ablity. Both bathroom are amazing and Richard resolved some bad decisions we made, proposed an alternative, then left us with a quality bathroom. 100% would use again, if you want it done right, complete project management, refusal to accept mediocrity the call Richard today.

Rob initially came to help with my hot water that was running too hot. The boiler seemed to be running 24/7 and it wouldn’t turn off. He replaced the Drayton 2 port valve which fixed the problem. He also carried out a boiler service. Rob was extremely helpful, professional and was prompt in returning calls, making appointments and all communications. Rob explained things clearly and I would highly recommend him to anyone as I will be doing so to friends and family. Thank you Rob.

Rob project managed a complete bathroom renovation for us including ripping out old bathroom, electrics, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and supply of bathroom suite. Service was professional and tidy and the finished job is lovely. The quoted price remained the same with the exception of added work which was at our request. The addition of extra work was carried out with no issues. Will definitely use Rob for future plumbing work.

I called High Heating and Plumbing, as we needed a gas engineer to connect our new gas hob. We experienced excellent customer service, great and clear communications, and a prompt reply to our enquiry. We were given a date and time that suited us. Steve, the attending engineer was polite, professional and very tidy. After the swift installation, everything was explained in plain terms, and we were very happy with his work. We had an emergency leak problem this evening and found Stephen's contact via a local group where he was highly recommended. Stephen came promptly even though it was late and he fixed the issue. He is very professional, polite, friendly and explained and showed us what had caused the problem and replaced the broken part. Stephen is very efficient and we are grateful he came out of work hours, at short notice to help us out. We are really pleased with the excellent service and highly recommend Stephen. I was passed Richards details from my inlaws who have used him for years. He had serviced there boiler yearly and even moved it when they had an extension and they have never had any problems. I've been using Richard for 4 or 5 years and always had amazing service! He polite helpful and honest! When finding trades people having someone who is honest is such a big thing. No one wants to be over charged. Richard has always done a great job for us and when I've had a problem he's always been out to help me really quickly. Highly recommend him and now Chris who also works with him.

As always Richard and Chris provided excellent service relocating a radiator that involved some drilling out of the concrete to divert the pipe work. They not only did a perfect job, they were on time, to budget and worked very cleanly. MP Plumbing and Heating have now done 2 Major Jobs for us. Michael has fitted us a brand new bathroom and doing so came with a variety of complications that he and his team solved with the upmost professionalism. The Bathroom looks stunning and we couldnt be more pleased with it. The second job was a gas leak in our Kitchen which Michael came out to us to find. After replacing a valve and some corroded pipework we are now gas leak free. Without Michael we would have been facing Christmas without heating and a working hob, he stayed until the leak was found and the pipwork repaired. It is so hard to find trustworthy tradespeople that have the knowledge and skills to do a great Job, we are so pleased to have found Michael at MP Plumbing & Heating and we would recommend him to Everyone

Michael replaced our boiler and all radiators and installed a hive control system. Very knowledgeable about boiler types and best solution for us. The installation was done quickly and very neatly, cleared the mess up as he went. Price was very good. Very professional service on top of that -Michael is calm and unflappable. I’m really pleased to have found Michael to fix my boiler. I had called someone else a few months prior who didn’t even come to see the problem (at that point the issue was only that it was not heating water very well) and offered me a no guarantee repair for £800 (he just presumed it was the heat exchanger) or £3000 for a new boiler. I decided to make do for a while with only slightly warm water. Once it started leaking too, I thought I’d give it one more go at repair before succumbing to a new boiler. Michael came to see the leak on the same day I called, quickly diagnosed what the problem was and got to work finding the part (it is a very old and uncommon boiler so not easy!). He had the part within a few days and came to fix it. The boiler gave him quite a few challenges since it was on its last legs but he stuck to his quote and even checked a couple of other things I’d asked about (radiator fluids and broken drain valve). Michael then turned his attention to the original hot water issue, found the issue, ordered the part (not the heat exchanger!!!) and got it fixed. Being my old cranky boiler, this also gave him some issues but he expertly worked his way through them (again for the quoted price) and now I have super hot water and no leaks for a fraction of the price of a new boiler. Michael is polite and friendly and very reasonably priced. He was punctual and kept me up to date with progress all the way through. My ancient boiler has a new lease of life and if I do have to replace it at some point in the future, I know who to ask.
