We ordered sushi once a week from this place. We loved it. I had to do a review because it can be one of the best sushi takeaways in Central and is not super expensive. I love the chicken bites, and we have tried all the special sushi. One of my favourites is the mango one. I love it! I haven’t been to the restaurant, but I would love to, as the food is top-notch. I love the spicy edamame, but it has sauce in it and is not the normal chilly that you find in most of the restaurants. If you had the opportunity to order takeout, please do; you will not regret it. I’ll update you on the restaurant and service when I’m there. Hopefully, next month. I’ll recommend all the sushi dishes and, of course, the chicken bites!

Interesting concept, well executed. The sushi boxes feature some imaginative flavour combinations and are always fresh. It’s with visiting earlier in the day for the widest selection, as the most popular boxes do sell out! I’ve never ordered from the hot counter but combination meals are available here too, with a good selection of dishes to choose from. They also sell assorted Japanese snacks (like Hi-Chew) at the till, which are worth trying!

If you’re looking for delicious sushi (and more), this is the place to be! I come here regularly and have never been disappointed. One important thing to note—they don’t overload the rice with sugar like many other places do, and that’s a game changer for me. High-quality ingredients, great recipes, and a kind, polite staff ❤️ You guys rock! P.S. Absolutely in love with the cucumber lemonade!

Who doesn't love sushi and Japanese curry but these days it can get boring because it is everywhere. Enter LOH Japandi Kitchen which is the marriage of Japanese and Scandinavian cuisine! This simply couldn't have been a no brainer as both cuisines have salmon. I've had my fair share of sushi so the LOH Japandi concept was totally my thing, expect to find meatballs as well as tempura with Japanese style fruity curry sauce as well as sashimi with dill and other dressings. Their drinks cabinet is another stunning winner with clear plastic cans filled with sparkling fruit juices. I ended up trying the drinks first because they were the most impressive. The sparkling grapefruit with thyme was simply refreshing and thirst quenching, you can really taste the grapefruit in it.

Food and Atmosphere 10/10. I don’t live in the UK so honestly I don’t care too much that the service was lackluster. There were a couple things I ordered twice because how good they were, and the atmosphere in general was amazing. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to have a good time with someone or a group of people. Note: if you’re cheap or someone who looks at menu prices, don’t come here 🙃

Wonderful food and excellent service from our waitress Anna. Professional, helpful, attentive and friendly. Sushi was extremely delicious! Cocktails great also..all good...thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in the sky and would love to return. We visited at the end of December, therefore during one of the busiest days. We arrived early and started with drinks on the terrace, then we were greeted by a lovely waiter who's name we unfortunately forgot, who allowed us extra time, guided us through the menu and provided great recommendations. All dishes were flavoursome and our family guests were satisfied. As our time at the table ran over by the time we finished our mains, the waiter kindly managed to secure a small bar table where we were delighted to also enjoy the beautiful and mouthwatering desserts. Thanks and sincere Well done go to the whole team for making this an unforgettable dining experience.

Sushi samba is a beautiful place. High on the 39 floor of heron tower. The service is great. Azamat was super helpful and showed us a London skyline view from the terrace. The food is pretty good. We had the taste of samba premium course - The black cod was the outstanding dish. All in all, a good experience.

Beautiful setting and ambiance. Fine service and good food. We went here in December 2023 for lunch. They had a 3 course LUNCH MENU for £55 (+ service). The location is quite secluded and very well kept. To find the restaruant, go through the main entrance of the hotel, turn left at the end, through the bar and the entrance is on the left. The monochrome decor is very elegant creating a lovely ambiance. I can imagine being here in the summer and it would have been perfect. The music was okay, I would have preferred something more classical; but hey, it was nearly Christmas... We were served by an enthusiastic waiter who took good care of us. We were asked around 4 times about dietary requirements... After ordering, we were served some sourdough bread and butter, it was fine, this was followed by a pre-starter (something that looked like a fish finger, but made of polenta, which was nice, but nothing special). Starter 7/10 I had the ham hock terrine for starter and my partner had the oysters. The terrine was average, but the accompanying pickled vegetables were good. The oysters with a champagne, crème fraiche and cucumber, I'm told was excellent. Main 8/10 I had the chicken and my partner had the fish. The chicken was full of flavour and the sauce tasted great (a little too much residual fat for me though), the potato was good, what stole the show was the cabbage, it was very buttery and creamy - best cabbage I'd ever had. I wish I ordered the cod though, it came with a very tasty bisque, was cooked beautifully and the accompaniments were pleasant. Dessert 5/10 We both had the set dark chocolate, espresso, mascarpone. Visually it was very appetising, but I found it bland. The chocolate did not have any strong flavour - frankly, a good supermarket brownie would have been better. The coffee ice cream looked elegant, but was average. Overall, it was a good experience that I would recommend. There are numerous nice restaurants in this area (most of which I have not been to). This should be one of the better ones, but I am certain not the best in the price range. For example, I would say that Bluebells would beat it in terms of flavours, but maybe not on the interior (though of course, both are subjective) or location.

Great restaurant serving beautifully played specialities with great taste of modern cuisine. Wine pairing is very well recommended by the waiters who are extremely friendly and welcoming. Would recommend!

Really lovely experience, a beautiful restaurant and the Tasting menu was really nice, beautifully presented and most of the dishes were delicious. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly and welcoming staff. We really enjoyed the stone bass and the venison, as well as the refreshing non-alcoholic beer mocktail. We loved the apetisers. Lots of wines to choose from, definitely worth a try.

Cannot fault this Hotel, pure opulence, the food is first class as was the service. We stayed in a deluxe family double room which was fantastic with great views of the gardens. Breakfast had a great choice of hot and cold options with honey from the on site Bees!!!!! Stayed here over night to visit Windsor castle. Will definitely be staying here again.

Paradise Green
100 Bishopsgate, City of London, London EC2M 1GT, UK | Restaurant P: 020 3649 4577
Rating: 4.6 (1710) Price Level:
The food tasted great and the atmosphere was on point but I have to say it feels overly pricey for the portion size. It’s a nice little place but probably not if you want to get your money’s worth. Staff were friendly and service was good. Loved the decor. I think the range wasn’t huge for brunch but maybe for a fancy coffee I’d go back.
Rating: 4 / 5
The atmosphere and ambience for dinner was great, especially for a much needed catch-up with a friend. It was great to be able to chat in a not so busy/loud restaurant, likely because it was a Monday evening in the city. Our waiters were smiling, friendly and happy to help, and the service was very prompt. All staff were very welcoming and friendly. I ordered the vegan burger with Koffman fries, and although the fries were very tasty and fresh and was complemented by the cashew cream sauce, the burger fell slightly below my expectations, as the burger bun was cold and I found the proportion of burger filling to be insufficient compared to the bun. As a meat eater, I was impressed with how realistic the oyster mushroom resembled meat, I found this very creative. I am going to assume the cold burger bun situation was a one off, and this is not how it is usually like. Although this is a personal preference, I recommend that there is more filling in the bun. Overall, I think Paradise Green has a beautiful atmosphere with great interior design, and seems like a great place for evening drinks. However, on this occasion I was not too pleased with this particular meal of the vegan burger. Having been to their other branches, The Daisy Green Collection do amazing breakfasts and brunches, so I look forward to visiting Paradise Green for brunch and another time I will try their other dinner mains.

Great place near London’s insurance sector’s hub. We went on a business lunch and were disappointed when we couldn’t get a table for two in the front, or back of the restaurant but were seated on the bar table/chairs but to our shock, the place was packing by 1 PM (hence recommend reserving in advance). The back of the restaurant has a lot more seating. We had the crispy Australian banana prawns (amazing), the panko fried halloumi (very good), house cured Yuzu gin salmon (good). For the mains we had the BBQ monkfish skewers (amazing) and the dry aged sirloin (very good). Overall, our lunch was great and really appreciate it!

Very unexpected and unique setting in an experience-first restaurant. Vibrant and playful decor, pleasant service and a simple yet lovely food teleports away from London and into sunny Australia for a meal. The meals are colourful and vibrant and I highly recommend the house made sparkling kambucha tea.

SushiDog Bishopsgate

Rating: 4.5 (163) Price Level:
I had a great experience trying Sushidog for the first time. I enjoyed the prawn katsu avocado roll, which was delicious and prepared quickly. The concept is exciting, and I appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Other options on the menu include the signature poke bowls, salad bowls, and tater tots.
Rating: 4 / 5
The signature salmon sushi dog was great. Fresh fish, crunchy elements, delicious rice. My only qualm is the price is high for the portion. I think the bowl and salad offer better value for money. But I did love the sushi dog, and I would by it again but only if I’m not that hungry. I also think make your own could be better. The sriracha lime mayo they have at the shop is also really good, highly recommend.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great little alternative to standard sushi. I tied the katsu sushi dog, which is more like a burrito.. but was great. Nice warn crunchy chicken with veg and rice and a lovely sauce. I added red chillies for a extra kick. Will be going back to try their sushi bowls and salad. Plus all the meats are Halal!!
Rating: 5 / 5
SushiDog’s signature salmon roll was served quickly - took only 5-10 mins before it was ready to go. The salmon roll was quite tasty, along with fresh ingredients, and the rice was cooked perfectly. I don’t think it could be better than that. It had a lot of different, nice, crunchy flavours that went well together. I asked for spicy sauce, and it was good too! Would go there again!

Fazenda Rodizio Bar & Grill Bishopsgate - London
100 Bishopsgate, City of London, London EC2M 1GT, UK | Steak House P: 020 3370 7202
Rating: 4.6 (709) Price Level:
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new Fazenda in Bishopsgate, London, and I can confidently say it measures up in every way to the outstanding experiences I’ve enjoyed at their Leeds branch. Right from the moment my wife, daughter, and her friend stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and courteous service, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The atmosphere struck just the right balance between sophisticated and inviting, making it equally suitable for both family outings and special occasions with friends or colleagues. The rodizio-style format was, as always, the star attraction. Each cut of beef, lamb, and chicken arrived with impeccable timing, ensuring that our plates never felt lacking yet never became overwhelming. The meats were cooked precisely to our preferences, with delicious seasonings that enhanced rather than masked the natural flavours. It was clear from the outset that the staff take real pride in delivering a top-quality dining experience, regularly checking in to see if we wanted a pause or were happy to continue sampling the various cuts. One of the aspects that truly impressed me was the attention to detail shown by our servers. They took the time to explain their favourite cuts of the day and even offered tips on how to best enjoy each piece. Although we didn’t explore the salad bar, wine list, or dessert options during our visit, it was still obvious that Fazenda’s menu features an abundance of tempting choices. My daughter relished a thoughtfully crafted cocktail recommended by one of the knowledgeable servers, which complemented the grilled meats extremely well. Meanwhile, I chose to indulge in a few pints of Fazenda’s own Helles lager. This house brew was a real standout, delivering a smooth, refreshing taste that paired beautifully with the wide variety of seasoned meats on offer. Another notable aspect of our visit was the customer service. Everyone we interacted with struck the perfect balance between friendly conversation and efficient hospitality. They were attentive without hovering and always seemed to appear at just the right time. From replenishing drinks to checking if we needed more meat, they ensured every detail was taken care of so that we could focus on enjoying our family meal. Despite the restaurant being busy that evening, the staff managed to keep a calm, professional demeanour, which truly enhanced the overall experience. Comparing it to my regular visits at the Leeds branch, I was delighted to see that Fazenda has successfully transplanted the same exceptional standard of quality and service to their new Bishopsgate location. The consistent, high-quality dining experience across both sites indicates a strong commitment to excellence throughout the brand. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy top-tier rodizio in London, this is undoubtedly a restaurant to bookmark. A lovely final flourish was a birthday message written in chocolate for my daughter with some truffles to enjoy at the end of the meal. All in all, I can’t recommend Fazenda Bishopsgate highly enough for anyone seeking a fantastic steakhouse experience in the capital. The combination of delicious, perfectly cooked meats, a wide range of beverage options, and gracious, attentive service makes for a remarkable night out. Whether you’re already a fan of their branches up north or entirely new to the Fazenda concept, you won’t be disappointed by this superb addition to London’s dining scene.

Came here just before Christmas on a very busy evening. I arrived early for a drink at the downstairs bar before our booking but it was overflowing. The staff were apologetic but, nevertheless, I had to go elsewhere. We returned at our booking time and were shown upstairs to our table in the restaurant. Thankfully this was a much calmer space. We went for the Churrasco Experience and weren’t disappointed. The food and service were excellent. In addition to choosing accompaniments from the buffet, it was great to be able to order warm side dishes at our table, included in the price. With the exception of the bar, this was a great experience.
Rating: 4 / 5
It's a really nice venue, with very good service. We went here for dinner and everything was great. The food was tasty, and you're continually offered a selection of beef, lamb, and chicken cuts to choose from as the waiters walk around. Some of the meats offered were slightly undercooked for our personal preference, so possibly be prepared for your choices to be medium or rarer and slightly over-salted. Our table server was really attentive and very informative. Overall, it was a lovely experience eating at Fazenda, and it's certainly a place to recommend visiting.

My husband and I went to Fazenda London for a double date to celebrate our friends’ engagement and had a wonderful time. We got there a bit earlier than our reservation and had a drinks at the bar downstairs, where the decor was stunning! It was during their happy hour where a selection of cocktails were reduced to £10. Then we went upstairs for dinner and the decor was even more stunning! The ambience was gorgeous and so romantic! The staff were also really lovely. We were given a glass of bubbly each to celebrate , which we were not expecting. We had the full churrasco (£62 each), two cocktails each (£10 during happy hour) and shared a bottle of bubble (around £42). The meats were delicious! We had a range of meat preferences at our table (medium, rare and well done), and the staff were great and did not make it seem like an issue at all. It became busier during the evening, so I recommend booking a table in advance. I will definitely be back!

This was my second visit to this excellent restaurant. The first time was during their opening soft launch, and last night was for a private dining experience. This place is a carnivore's dream! The service, the ambience, the decor, the wine selection, the cocktails, the team, the quality of food = ALL IS EXCELLENT. The main bit of advice I can give is avoid overloading on the salad bar (AKA The Market Table - great name)! It all looks so tempting and delicious that it is very easy to fill up on it before the main meat fiesta commences...but you can go back and get more should you feel the need. A great venue for any group size. Obviously it would be best to dine and relax and take your time, however you can also visit for a quick lunch hour.....personally I prefer to take my time to enjoy the food and wine. If you leave feeling hungry then you have done it wrong!!

The first time I had been to the Humble Grape. The food was excellent and the service was great. Although none of the party of 6 had any wine the staff were still great. I would definitely book again and would recommend (I have already mentioned it to a few friends) to anyone. Great evening celebrating our daughter’s first jobs.

Went here last night for a belated engagement celebration and we had the most wonderful experience. The amazing lady helping us was fantastic, every glass of wine was stunning and the bhajis they sell are insane. Highly recommend. We'll be back, thank you for an incredible experience 🥂🥰

Great location for an afterwork, cosy dinner and especially a date. The food is super, especially the cauliflower and the meat as a main dish. The wine flight is a good recommendation to try multiple different things and get the best of the experience while combined with the starters. Great collection of reds as well

We had a team dinner here, everything was lovely. My starter of Scallops was well cooked, maybe a tad more seasoning required. The Sausage starter went down a treat. The main event was well cooked, tasty, the mash was a bit disappointing, lacking flavour but the meat was superb. Service is slick and unintrusive. Would definitely come again.

Friendly and attentive staff make this an enjoyable resturant. The steaks are Devine and they have a good wine list which starts quite resonable. Business lunch around £100 per person with drinks. Wholly recommended.

It was a honour to be part of the 2 course winter complimentary menu. The food was amazing! The staff was friendly. Everything was amazing. Nothing to fault. We will definitely come back again. The staff surprised us with some mini brownies with cream.

The food and service were amazing. Best steaks you can eat - each gorgous, but very different. The decor is nice. We were served by Miri, who was lovely. Very expensive, but well worth it on a special occasion. We went after work on Tues evening and were the only ones in there!

A great spot for a city/working lunch staff were attentive. The venue had a relatively relaxed vibe and almost felt like a total escape from the city hustle and bustle. The 2 courses for £20ish is a relative bargain. Food was pretty good for the price and well presented. Definitely going on the list for convenience and price point.

Waited a few weeks to share this... Christmas menu was pretty spot on - the fried squid was a bit disappointing, but the first time I've had it present like that. Wasabi mayo was good - turkey, really tasty. I only ordered it for festive reasons and it kicked my expectations out the door. Perfect balance with cranberry sauce. I thought the main was a bit small, but really nice. - the snowman. Just get it. Worth the surcharge, fun, satisfying and gorgeous. Service was really nice. Though apparently the service charge doesn't get given to the staff? The reception staff were a bit clinical and cold, I saw people waiting like tools a bit for awhile. So that might spoil the experience. In general, beautiful and elegant venue

Let's say Ivy is always a safe choice. Warm colourful interior, very nice & attentive staff and good selection of food, wines, cocktails... All dishes look great but missing a bit of extra touch in regards to the taste. Paid 30£ for a blackened cod fillet with green beans. No salt or pepper on it, nothing special really.

Booked here for my partner's birthday, we were welcomed at the door and our coats taken to be hung up. The restaurant was fairly full and had a great atmosphere. Our waitress came along promptly, introduced herself & asked if we wanted water for the table. Gave us time to look at the menu before ordering. My partner had the Asian Duck salad followed by the pork schnitzel and I had the mozzarella followed by the Tuna, we ordered green beans, broccoli spears and mash to go with them. The food was well presented and very tasty...we were too full for desserts. Highly recommend this restaurant

A really nice high end brunch we had, the elevator ride is a thing to experience on its own. I can imagine going in for a cocktail at night would be amazing given the view. Service was quick, the staff friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Loved all of it. Just know there's only two toilet stalls for the ladies. Still, great experience overall.

We went for a birthday celebration. The food was great, we ordered their popular duck& waffle, Grilled octopus, corn ribs, and Lobster rolls. Duck&waffle and grilled octopus tastes extremely delicious. Corn ribs are fine but Lobster rolls might not suit my taste buds. I can't taste much of a lobster in the Lobster roll, feel like it's mostly cucumber. The service was fine but I expected better. Sometimes we need to ask several times for water refilling. At last we ordered The all elvis which is their signature waffle which tastes okay but nothing extraordinary.

Absolutely love this place, been here a few times at different hours of the day and the standards are pretty much the same at all times! Wonderful and friendly staff, fantastic cocktails made by the bar staff whilst waiting to be seated in the restaurant and even then the service continues at a wonderful level. Panoramic views across London whilst eating, what more can you ask for! My go to dish is of course the Duck and Waffle, it’s just brilliant especially with the maple syrup that also comes with it. Great starters too. Our waiter was wonderful, and made us laugh throughout the night whilst we were there. I love the fact that Duck & Waffle is open 24/7, which satisfies the odd craving. One thing I would say is that before it was a lot stricter on dress code, and it is nice to see that it seems a little more relaxed in terms of the whole “smart casual” attire, I just hope it doesn’t go to a too casual of a look. Regardless, it’s a great place and a must if you are around Liverpool Street, the food is great, view is great, drinks are great! You are guaranteed a good night out here! Looking forward to going again soon! I would highly HIGHLY recommend to try if you have not before.

The duck and waffles was a very unique dish as a visiting American who had only tried chicken with waffles. I’d definitely recommend you try it. I also tried The grilled octopus and flavor-wise it was good, but it’s definitely an acquired taste, I’d say. The octopus seasonings were a bit sour and the texture may throw some people off, it was a tad slimy on the outer skin but the inner meat was firm and I enjoyed it. Take a step outside of your comfort zone and try something new! The only con I’d comment on if I had to would just be that it did take a bit of time to get our check when we finished. But I understand they are a busy restaurant. I’d also recommend getting a reservation if you’re expecting a table. I personally didn’t mind sitting at the bar to eat though but larger groups would likely prefer a table so just fyi. But overall I’d absolutely recommend this place! It is a little hidden though if you’re walking to it but once you walk inside there’s a person there who will assist you. Just take the elevator to the top floor and enjoy the view and delicious food/drinks! We spent about £86 for 2 people to have a meal and a drink.

Food was delicious! It's very straightforward. We tried the duck and waffle, lobster roll, truffle fries, and the honey glazed pork belly. They are exactly how I expect them to taste. The server was amazing. She was very accommodating. My aunt told them that it was my birthday, so they surprised me with a cake. When my family wanted to do a do over of the serving of the cake because they weren't able to take a video, our server gladly did so. That was very nice and sweet of her. This is the type of restaurant I would want to spend special occasions at.
