Our second visit in three weeks. Fantastic service. Food is wonderful, very authentic and the Staff are brilliant.

Only 5 min drive from Gatwick North and a perfect spot for dinner if you stay the night before a flight. From walking in the door to leaving it was a fantastic meal. Warm, funny and attentive staff made it even more memorable. Olives (best tasting olives I've ever eaten) and bread are given whilst you peruse the incredible menu. One of our party opted for a whole seabass from the specials board and she said it was the best fish she had ever had. Another had a perfectly cooked steak. I had a stunning paella washed down with a lovely red wine. We can't wait to go back to try more of the tapas options. They really love their food here and it shows. Highly recommended.

Hi! I first visited the restaurant a couple of months ago and everything was amazing. Had an opportunity to visit the restaurant again yesterday and the service that I would have already rated as 5 stars back then has gotten a lot better! Kindly friendly and really pleasant experience with all the staff members. Being out of the country that place always feels warm as going to dine at home with family. I also want to give my compliments to the chef that made my lamb cutlets yesterday at 6 pm. The best cutlets I have ever had in the UK!. That's coming from one chef to another!. Keep up the good work guys! ( I especially appreciate the cleanliness of the place as I know how important that is and a good job for keeping high standards even when it gets busy!). And to all the rest weekends it's best to reserve the table in advance as I missed out the opportunity to dine in before yesterday as it was a full house.

Food in the airport can be expensive and slow. However, this place is tasty, fast, and priced reasonably. Only downside is that they do not have many tables available. I would comeback here knowing that the food will be served in time.

Tortilla Real’s California Burrito is a must-try! Fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and perfect balance in every bite. The customer service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

I had the large burrito. It was very tasty and satisfying. Not too expensive compared to the other restaurants. Can get long queues but friendly service. The atmosphere isn't great as it's in a loud packed location, not a lot of available seating but I got lucky. Overall a great meal.

Our family of 5 just flew in from Spain this afternoon. Exhausted, our BnB owner recommended Zeno. What an experience! We were treated like family and the food, wine and cocktails were all exceptional. Thank you.

Wow! Where do i even begin. We had a team meal here and everything was brilliant from start to finish. We were welcomed by lovely, genuinely happy staff, served promptly, the service was attentive and quick but not rushed. There is such a wide range of food and drinks to choose from and the food was absolutely delicious. It was presented well and tasted insanely good. The cocktails were also amazing. I believe this will be our new favourite place to eat. Highly recommend.

Cozy atmosphere, food was piping hot, and service was fast. I had the chicken burger which was really lovely, and the others in our group had fish and chips; one was gluten free. There are lots of gluten free options / gluten free available options on the menu, which is excellent. When our food came, we were asked if we’d like any sauces - I asked if garlic mayo was a possibility, but was unfortunately told no, despite there already being garlic mayo in my burger, which I found odd. The only other slight negative was the menu was a tiny bit on the pricey side (but I guess so is everything nowadays :/ …) Despite this, it was a nice meal and we’d happily return. Thank you very much! :)

Had a lovely Father’s Day meal here back in June and was really blown away with both the service and the food. Called in again while passing and had the ploughman’s and I have to say it’s by far the best I’ve had. Absolutely outstanding value for money in a lovely atmosphere with great service. Would highly recommend.

We had the most delicious meal here last night, the steak was perfectly cooked and the lamb shoulder equally as delicious! Service was excellent too, we were made to feel really welcome. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

We are here many years ago, having landed home late at Gatwick. We remembered how good the food was and decided to have our Diwali family lunch there for 17 people. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. The food was superb and better than we remembered. Perfect experience. Definitely will be back!

Just stopped for a night in Horley before continue our journey to NY and found this place. Looks like a typical english pub/restaurant form a movie, great atmosphere, delicious food and 10/10 sercive. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful 9th century old English pub! It is located beside an old church and graveyard which added to the vibe. We managed to book a table a few hours before for three people upstairs via their online booking system which was smooth. They do cater for gluten free options which is great! The food was nice, the desert was okay and the staff were friendly enough. Fairly pricy for what it is.. the service was fairly quick, apart from waiting for our deserts for around 25 minutes at the end.. P.s £9.50 for the honeycomb dome desert was eye watering for what it is! The history is dripping from the walls of this place! I’d highly recommend!

We asked our bus driver and he recommended this place. So glad he did! It’s a charming quaint cottage looking restaurant/pub. It has the perfect seating inside and a massive outside seating. Our server, Gok was wonderful. He told us about the history of the place (it’s 800 years old)! He was so entertaining explaining all the stories. There is apparently an undiscovered tunnel that goes from the restaurant to the old church and cemetery next door. This place looks like it’s out of a novel. The food was great and the pudding dessert is a must (we had 3). Everyone in my family was happy and it added to the charm of visiting the UK. Ask for Gok he’s been there 8 years and he will make your experience even better with his knowledge of the place.

Decent & popular Pub -cum -restaurant with Indian delicacies served. Lovely ambience. Advance reservation for Tables recommended, as it is generally full on all days during evening hours. Parking lot available.

I had a couple of meals here over two days, car parking is a bit of a nightmare at the busy times. But food is amazing, and the service is great. Would definitely go again. A big thumbs-up from me.

Just had a lovely vegetarian meal here at a very reasonable price. The curry was really exceptional, and the flavours were amazing. Lovely to have freshly cooked food. The quantity was just right too. The staff were attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Loved it. The only downside is most dishes, including chips and gravy contained soya, which was an allergy for one of our party. They did give an alternative option, which was great. Just wish she could have tasted the awesome curries, calamari and the chicken wings. Overall, though, a good experience

We’ve found this place by accident as we’re desperate to get something to eat after long journey. We’re surprised by its ambience and how friendly the service was. The staff were so attentive. Thank to Dana who looked after us very well. The food was splendid. Well presented, and above standard (or expectation)for pub food. Luckily we dressed smart enough to avoid awkwardness as the place was smart but not overly formal. 🙂 The atmosphere is so relaxed. It was ashamed we couldn’t hang around as long as we wanted. Certainly it was a good impression and won’t mind to revisit there in the future.

The food here was really great and Abi provided such excellent service! We couldn't find an Uber to take us back to our hotel and Abi came to the rescue and made sure to call a taxi for us. We highly recommend coming here!

We often eat here, especially during Christmas time. I love the decoration during the festive season. The food is always delicious. The food presentation is also beautiful. And it's warm during winter. We will. Come back again.

We recently celebrated my Dad’s birthday at The Dukes Head in with a party of eight, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The team of servers and staff were exceptional - it’s clear they support each other, which creates a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests. A special mention to Julia, our server for the evening. She was incredibly attentive and cheerful, ensuring everything ran smoothly and adding a personal touch to our celebration. Her friendliness truly stood out and made the evening even more memorable. Highly recommended for great food, a lovely atmosphere, and outstanding service!

We popped in on Christmas day as the hotel we had booked lied about their food and drink menu online. The barman originally said we couldn't have food (fair enough it is Christmas day!) Then he heard about our hotel. He talked to the kitchen and let us stay for dinner, all with a smile on his face! Quick service and a lovely staff. Highly recommend.

Incredible time at Halt & Pull!! Flawless service - our waiter/bartender was so lovely and kindly advised us on the menu. The food was to die for - it was that good we may well take a train trip down to go back later in the year! Really fantastic and wish this was my local pub! Special mention for the calamari and steaks.

From California, my girlfriend and I wanted a solid early lunch so we went in a little after opening. Was greeted by mileeka and she was extremely helpful and kind. Also, was playing some vibeful music to go with our drinks and food. Besides the good atmosphere and bartending, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I got the fish and chips and my lady got the steak and frites with peppercorn gravy... To say the least, everything was tremendous! Sadly we leave tomorrow, but could be back tonight. Halt and Pull has truly become my go-to spot! The food is consistently fantastic, and Terry and George's attentive service adds a special touch. The diverse drink choices and the overall inviting atmosphere make every visit a delightful experience. Highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Always passed this place and mentioned to husband that I want to try their food. He said no as they way it look not really maintain well and nit so many car park even in weekend. Then I Notice that they change name, so everytime we passed always check how busy they are. Found that more cars park there and again asked my husband that I want to try their food. New name mean new management. And he say yes to give it a try. It has a fantastic menu. Many choices. Make me confuse 😅 I haven't seen a menu as comprehensive as this. It has all the pub favourites. They have full authentic indian menu, and reliaze that staff mostly Indian. The food was delicious. We order few dishes. All the staff are friendly and helpful. It just take too long for us to get the bill. Prices are reasonable. Will try again anither indian dishes next time.

Wonderful food and service on our first visit. We had visited the related Parsons Pig many times and The Peacock was just as great. Wonderful food and very polite and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

This is one place which has massive improved over the years. Currently offers a lovely menu of both Indian and English food. Something for everyone. The portion sizes are very generous. My only slight niggle would be to offer a smaller dish option as I just couldn't eat it all. The staff are warm, welcoming and keen to help in anyway they can.

I am a HUGE fan of comfort food at Home prices. I have been eating at the Peacock Lodge for a little over a year now and Love every meal I've had. The food is amazing, it's like eating a 4 star meal at your nans. This is in part because of David and His Team. David remembers everyone by name and their food choices, he goes out of his way to make sure everyone is welcomed, even stopping by to share a joke and to help build rapport and memory. The Peacock WOULD not be the same without him. The food itself brings you exquisite joy and memories when eating, of homecooked meals, nans dinners or even a celebration long forgotten.
