I've been bringing my black Labrador, Felix, to Kriek and Gibson Veterinary Surgery for the past two years, and my wife and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care he has received. The team is consistently professional and compassionate, making both Felix and us feel at ease. They provided excellent assistance with the health certificate we needed for traveling abroad, and the process was top-notch. They took the time to explain every detail of Felix's treatment and answered all our questions thoroughly. Felix is always treated with kindness and attention, which puts our minds at ease. The clinic is clean and well-organized, contributing to an overall positive experience. We highly recommend Kriek and Gibson Veterinary Surgery for their exceptional care and dedication.

This practice is one of a kind. As “mum” to two beautiful doggies I’ve had a terrible time the last 3 weeks with both my boys falling ill. I have been a nervous wreck and phoned them and visited so often. Tania has been so patient with me and so kind to my boys and they r thankfully both on the mend. Even the receptionists have been so understanding and caring I’m so greatful to all they have done xxx thank you so very much everyone who have been so kind and made my boys better xx couldn’t recommend enough

Dealt with the loss of our pet with respect and care. Even once our little one had passed on, we still heard from them with cards and even a paw print that we never asked for, but are very grateful for. Cannot recommend them enough. Thank you to everyone at the vets.

Very kind when I lost my rescue dog end of last year.and Very good with my other rescue who finds trips to the vet upsetting changed vets last year on reccomendation so glad I did would reccomend them .recently got another rescue who has yet to take her first trip to vet ,but I know they are always there for advice and support.

Easy online booking and everybody is so nice. We have a pet plan with Medivet do takes the worry out of expense and good to know our dog is looked after

A very special thanks to Vet Surgeon Ana De Brito who is professional, absolutely brilliant as a vet and as a person, kind and caring and always does her best to help Arnie. We have always been accommodated whenever we needed an appointment even at a short notice. All staff are very nice, kind and approachable. Oak barn has been our Vets for the past few years and I can’t say enough good things about them. The staff are so warm and welcoming, you can fully trust them. We had a scare with one of our Pugs a few weeks ago and every member of the team who helped was incredible, they dealt with everything with urgency and provided the absolute best care. You don’t feel like you are walking into a scary clinical atmosphere, it’s a lovely building with access to grass and lots of parking, and our pugs love going there. I’ll always continue to recommend them 🤍🐾🤍 the picture is with their favourite vet right after they had some chicken and can’t contain their excitement 🥰

Highly recomend for reactive dogs and kinda and caring team. We moved from our local vet to Oak Barn Vets a few months ago. Our german shepherd is very nervous and reactive (extremely to dogs) and has to be muzzled. Our previous vets couldn't care less about his needs, so we had to find somewhere else. After some research, my partner found this vets which is a half an hour drive away, on the other side of Guildford. It was the best decision we could have made for him. The team here truly cares about your pets. From the receptionists when we first arrived, to the doctors who helped us and our dog. They are so caring and sympathetic to our situation and circumstances and actively listened to us and wanted to help. We didn't know how our dog would react to the staff as he is also weary of people but he seemed to love them. A massive selling point for us is the side entrance into one of the practice rooms which we could request to avoid bumping into other dogs which was our biggest concern. Sadly we had to put our boy to sleep which was a really tough and heartbreaking decision. The vet team supported us and gave us all the time we needed on the day (I may have over stayed our appointment slightly) but they were very supportive and kind to us and made sure our boy was looked after through this process. We picked his ashes up a few days ago and the receptionist was so kind. He was in a beautiful box with a sympathy card signed by the pet crematorium which I didn't expect but was comforted to recieve. I cannot fault this place. The facilities are perfect and the team are full of wonderful people. If we decided to eventually get another dog we would without hesitation go back.

I had to visit Oak Barn vets after an incident with a dog I was looking after. They are excellent, helpful, caring and very reassuring. The environment is welcoming and not clinical. I highly recommend.

Have been using cootes for over 20 years for my cats and would never go anywhere else !! Friendly welcome from as soon as you walk in the door. We started coming to Cootes 18 years ago with our previous cats when they were kittens, and yesterday came back again with our 3 new kittens. We were so warmly welcomed, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Have been with these vets for 6 years now for both our working cocker spaniels. We tried other vets in the beginning but the vets here came recommended by friends. When we joined it was a private practice but in the last 2 years it was taken over and became a medivet practice.

First visit to Maidenbower Medivet. Lovely, kind and caring folk at the reception and in the surgery. Still not my dog's favourite place in the world but it is comforting to know that he will be in good hands if needed. Thank you.

We were really impressed at how well Macy our cockapoo was looked after through her SARDS tests we visited twice and was kept up to date by Adam through out her procedure. Also for me and my partner I would like to say a big thankyou to sue on reception who made a difficult situation for us go a lot easier she was excellent.

This hospital is outstanding and I only have the highest regard for ALL the professionals I have met, be it Reception, Doctors, Surgeons, Inner Medicin, Insurance Dept. etc etc. There is politeness, care, compassion, understanding and a love for all pets that are bright in. I have experienced this first hand for over one year. Nothing is too much and appointments are always available. Everyone goes the extra mile.

My boy was referred to NDSR because the vet suspected he might have tumors in his lung. NDSR reached out to me within an hour and scheduled an appointment. Sofia showed professionalism and care as she reviewed my dog's medical history and treated us with sympathy as worried pet parents. She patiently explained the necessary tests to determine if my boy had tumors or another condition. Thankfully, it turned out to be lungworms. We then worked with Freddie, who was also a great and professional vet. He provided the right treatment for my boy and kept me updated on his condition twice a day while he was hospitalised. The vet nurse was also very attentive and kind when I called for updates. Now my boy is recovering well from the lungworms, and I'd like to express my immense gratitude to Sofia, Freddie, and all the vet nurses.

Just wanted to write a message to thank Richard. He looked after our after my Rodney till the end and was so supportive a truly wonderful vet. Inge who works there too looked after his paws and skin for years and she was wonderful . This centre truly cares and I just wanted to say thank you

I cannot express my thanks enough to ALL the staff at GVG for the empathy and compassion shown to me in the final few days of my cat Max’s life, but also for the thoughtful words in the card sent to me after his passing and for the 4 paw prints from Max that were enclosed. Max, a small but mighty cat pictured here with his best friend Murphy, enjoyed 17 years of life and his final few hours couldn’t have been handled any better than they were by the professionals involved. Thank you to Andy and the team for helping me make the difficult but right decision at the end.

I was referred to this vet by my daughter my British bull dog had cherry eye took him there also had my staff with me the vet did my bull dogs eye and checked my staff over and he had a yeast infection which he also helped with, the care and price was great, also the price was half what pets at home wanted to charge me thank you so much

Gordon was very knowledgeable, caring, friendly and calm. I took my very anxious dog there for vaccine and he was so patient with my dog. Another time when I took my brother's dog there as he got issues with his teeth. Again Gordon was very caring and attentive. The receptionist was very friendly and caring. Truly recommend.
