Today I had to make the decision to euthanise my feline companion of the last fifteen years. A really hard decision to make but I was helped by the sensitive support of the visiting vet and his assistant and their empathetic handling of the sad situation. Many thanks.

Barney can be very nervous going to the vets. However Zoe was so good with him he was soon relaxed and accepting treats from her . This made it much easier to examine him and hopefully be less nervous next time visit .

I have been a client of Milford for a good 17+ years and it has always been lovely, and when I have taken my cats in recently I have no complaints. I just would really like it to return to being a full veterinary hospital with an out of hours service. That was the main reason I chose Milford, and throughout those 17+ years have had to use the out of hours service several times which was so helpful particularly in the case of accident requiring emergency treatment, if that happened now, I would have to pick up my cat from Milford if it had had to have treatment, transport it to Guildford, which would be a further traumatic situation for an ill animal. I am sure I am not alone in being a loyal customer but regrets the closure of this service of out of hours emergencies at Milford Veterinary hospital.

I cannot praise the team at Godalming vets more. We have attended on two instances this year both causing a lot of anxiety for us as owners, but the staff went above and beyond in ensuring that not only our pets were healthy and happy, but to reassure us. We arrived at the Vets somewhat in shock with both of our dogs, Jasper had been hit by a car and Henry had had a near miss. The excellent team immediately went into action, not just to treat both our dogs , but also to look after my wife and I. Their professionalism, knowledge, and obvious care and empathy with our situation was outstanding and we are very grateful for their support. Sadly we have lost Jasper. Henry is back home and recovering well from his shock.

I went to uthanize my poorly cat, he was old and had a lot of issues. I was apparently given the worst vet in there to handle it as they made me feel very uncomfortable, judged and like I was a killer. I left in such a state, which is a shame because I've had no problems with this place before hand, they've always been so helpful and lovely. Especially after my mum passed in August they helped me with everything I needed to know and do. Just that one experience has put me on edge a little.

I had say good bye to my elderly cat at Pet Doctors this week, it was horrid but I must say the vet and the staff were so very kind and understanding. The vet gave me all the time needed to talk things through. I am so grateful, thank you.
