Not eaten here before, but was tempted by the Hungarian theme. Although I hadn't booked they went out of their way to make a space for me even though it was busy. The food was really nicely presented and tasted delicious. I wasn't rushed at any point and had a very relaxing lunch. Thanks guys!

Our first, but not last visit to Vicky’s. If you haven’t tried it yet then you must. Don’t expect your food served quickly, dishes are prepared individually and cooking takes time, sit back, enjoy the company, drink in the decor and savour the ambience. Everything about our lunchtime visit was delightful.

All the dishes were delicious. From starters to dessert. The cabbage rolls, the goulash pancake, the chicken shashlik and the chimney cake being the main highlights. All of it felt and tasted home cooked with good quality ingredients. We cannot wait to return and try more of their menu. The restaurant environment is very cozy and all the staff are kind and efficient. Well worth the drive or train ride to the beautiful village of Haslemere. You can't find this cuisine easily and it is a welcome change from the usual dinner options in the region.

We had a gorgeous meal here mid week. Food is delicious especially if you've been out exploring the South Downs and want something yummy and full of flavour. Excellent, friendly service.

Really great! We came for my Mum's birthday lunch and weren't disappointed. Food was excellent, nice ambience, great service. Plenty of choices for the 2 vegetarians in our group. Desserts were also really very good.

Lorenzo provided an exceptional dining experience that deserves nothing short of a 5-star review. Four of us traveled from Warwickshire to meet up with two friends to celebrate a friend's retirement, from the moment we stepped into the restaurant on that winter night, we were greeted with a warmth that extended beyond the cozy atmosphere. Heating was beautiful on really cold night. The seating, notably accommodating for someone with hidden disability problems like myself, was extremely comfortable. Now, let's talk about the food – a culinary journey that began with a mushroom starter bursting with flavors. All six of us unanimously rated each dish, from the starters to the mussels and the main course featuring chicken, prawns, and tuna, with a resounding 5 stars. This wasn't your typical mass-produced pub food; it was a symphony of homemade flavors. Even when faced with the disappointment of a finished crème brûlée on the dessert board, the exceptional service kicked in. The waiter not only informed us promptly but also offered to have it made from scratch, despite the 30-minute wait. This level of dedication left us utterly shocked and grateful. The overall experience, from the delectable food to the outstanding service, exceeded our expectations. It was our first-ever visit, and without a doubt, we will be returning on our next visit to friends in the area. We had a Sunday lunch one beef one pork one vegetarian nut roast, all very nice even the nut roast was brilliant very hard for many to get nice. Would definitely advise a visit we will be returning. Also well priced for what we good. Staff all made us welcome and did a brilliant job

I’d love to spend the night here but on this occasion I visited for coffee after visiting a little cinema nearby. We just had coffee but there was so much to see in this historic and elegant hotel. This was once the home of 617 Squadron and the Dambusters, hence the many photographs in the bar about that era. The gardens are lovely and I’d imagine this is a great venue for special occasions. Can’t wait to return as Woodall Spa is a beautiful little town.

Spectacular location and history, went for a quick afternoon tea and stayed much longer than anticipated. The place is a national treasure, the officer’s mess in particular. Great teas and hot chocolates too were a bonus. Cheers!

We are on holiday and went for a meal. The food was great and the lady that served us was lovely. We had a lovely evening

I bloody love this place. I brought my parents here for lunch today as they were up visiting me and I knew we'd get excellent food and service. We all opted for the Grimsby Haddock and chips with mushy peas and they were magnificent! The fish was enormous and I ended up only having a handful of the lovely chips as a result, but it was so tasty - as if we were having fish and chips at the seaside. The staff as always were very friendly and the service was perfect. I hadn't been in the garden before but it is a lovely little suntrap and we enjoyed it immensely. This pub is also very dog friendly and having 3 dogs along with us was no problem at all. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly to anyone looking for some lovely grub in a friendly environment.

We had hunters chicken and pies all were delicious. Parking was good. Very cold in the restaurant. A couple of hiccups with booking time and not being able to pay by card which held us up getting food.

We had a very tasty Sunday Lunch, in a lovely atmosphere and were served by a lovely waitress. Highly recommended

Had Chicken Wings to Start and Pork Belly for Main. Brilliant Food, lovely service and the theme of US in an old English Pub is brilliant. Had a great meal with all the family.

Such a treat to celebrate a friend's birthday here. We ordered a meat platter for four and it was absolutely massive; more than enough food! It was really delicious, although some of the meats were slightly on the salty side so be aware if you're sensitive to that. Otherwise, we had such a great time and we were also given boxes to takeaway the leftovers which was a huge bonus!

Amazing food! Massive portions! Great value for money. Lovely service. Very friendly and helpful. Lots of different areas to sit so feels private and comfortable. Open log fires. Great atmosphere. I had the BBQ sharing platter for 2 people. It could easily have fed 3. Succulent meat. Extremely tasty. Highly recommend!

Service is truly brilliant. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Decor is lovely, cosy and welcoming. However food wasn't as great as we had hoped. Quite overpriced to for what we had. The rice bowl had too many conflicting flavours. The ceaser side was delicious but really just very expensive lettuce with tasty source. Short rib had great flavour and was beautifully smokey but a bit too fatty for our liking. Lovely venue just wish the food had been better

Had a lovely meal with family just after Christmas. As local Lincs people the Splash is an old haunt for us (my elderly mum did some of her courting here back in the day). As ever, the food was amazing. Beautiful steak and stilton pie with proper pastry, creamy mash and perfectly cooked veggies. The grilled haddock was both big and just cooked right.... Fresh, flaky and tasty. We had just enough room for their tasty desserts. Can recommend the sticky ginger toffee pudding. We just wish the staff could be more warm, welcoming and friendly. A smile, a welcome, some conversation with customers would really make this the perfect evening out. The food is so good that the lack of service isn't enough to stop us coming. But I would love to be able to give you five stars. Come on the management... A couple of team meetings, some training and checking would raise the warmth and quality of service to a standard that matches the food and environment.

I stopped here for a coffee before a morning walk around the village. It's a beautiful little pub conveniently placed for nearby walks. It was wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Special shout out to Jeff who showed me around!

Nice plates from which to feast. Some nice traditional grub with some nice choices for variety. Dog friendly which is helpful. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice surroundings, the open fire is toasty and outdoors areas are pleasant too. Visited again for more hearty grub, some gluten free options which were handy for some of our group. Enjoyed an impromptu pub quiz courtesy of the landlord which was fun. Revisited a few times since, the hearth is as ever warming and the food good.

Wanted to go here for ages so tonight me and wife finally did. Food and service was excellent, atmosphere excellent, drinks and cocktails excellent. 100% recommend the cardamon martini, so refreshing and just delicious. The naans are unbelievably freah and soft and the saag paneer was delicious so was the adraki lamb. Best Indian restaurant I have been to

Had an excellent meal on Friday night Portion size was more than we expected and each dish was really tasty We were already planning our next visit while we were eating. Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy some really good food The takeaway looked really busy so will give that a try too. Going to keep going until we get through the full menu Service was good, attentive enough but not too much was more than happy to give a tip for the full evening Didn’t get any photos too busy enjoying the food

Parking was rather tight as the restaurant was full being a Friday evening. We didn't need to worry though as when we got in the sitting area was massive and we were seated in a nice area despite having no booking. The mango lassi and garlic naan were fantastic with really good sized portions. The lassi is available in a jug which was plentiful for a party of two and a little toddler. The rest of the meal was great including the mixed platter. Great atmosphere with great services from everyone. Highly recommended and we will be going back.

Great service and a great choice of meals. A break from the normal chain run pubs. All meals we had were excellent and fresh. It was nice not to feel rushed between courses. We will definitely go again.

Absolutely loved this pub. The owners are very dog friendly and made a fuss of our dog. We had a table with a bowl of water for her and biscuits. The food was fabulous, hot, tasty and lots of it. I recommend the Sunday lunch.

An amazing dog friendly pub, with superb food. We rang to book a table and said we were bringing the dogs. When we arrived, our table included dog treats and a bowl of water. The locals and the staff were really welcoming.

This is the local breakfast and lunch spots we all want! The whole staff was very friendly. Olivia took great care of me, as a server. The food was great and the whole breakfast experience is amazing.

Friendly service, delicious food and generous portions at a reasonable price. Quick service and servers were regularly checking in to see if I needed refills. Great little diner, loved the honoring of veterans. Definitely recommended!
