Not sure even where to begin with how incredible Lucia is - from listening to my random selection of ideas and Pinterest photos on our first call to turning that into a beautiful, modern, sophisticated vision which was more amazing than we could have ever imagined. At every meeting my husband and I walked away saying “Lucia is the best decision we made.” Beyond the amazing design, Lucia’s organisation, planning and delivery of our day and the management of the collection of suppliers (I also was so happy with every supplier she recommended personally) made the whole experience completely stress free and I know we wouldn’t have enjoyed our wedding as much as we did if we hadn’t had such a trusted and excellent planner. Our guests and family also commented on excellent she was. Lucia’s attention to detail is incredible - there was no detail that she hadn’t considered or wasn’t on top of and it really showed. If you want a beautifully designed and stress-free wedding day you need to have Lucia involved. She is the best decision we made!

We were so lucky to find and work with Lucia for our August wedding. Having her as our wedding planner was by far the best decision we made. We had ideas about what we wanted, but not a cohesive vision - Lucia managed to take those strands and turn them into something tangible that flowed throughout our whole wedding celebration. Even with a wedding planner, last minute issues pop up - but having Lucia there meant they were pretty much resolved before we were even aware there was a problem. With busy jobs, this was invaluable. In the run up to the day, Lucia was nothing short of fantastic. But on our wedding weekend is where she was a real superstar. For us everything about our wedding went seamlessly. Not only has she got a great eye for detail (our wedding breakfast room looked amazing and she even managed to artistically disguise some scuffs on the wall) but her energy just made everyone she interacted with (our guest and suppliers) so at ease and happy. The morning after a very long day and night (!), Lucia and her daughter even came back to the venue and made mini bouquets from our flowers that our guests could take home with them. We had so many comments from close friends and family telling us how amazing our wedding planner was - and Alex was recommending her to everyone we know. I think that says it all! Lucia was brilliant. Based on friends I know who got married at the same time having a wedding planner is so helpful but having the right wedding planner is the key! Everything about our wedding weekend was not only perfect, it was stress free and I know that was because of Lucia’s efforts.

She helped with not just one, but two events, ensuring everything ran smoothly while handling issues we didn’t even realize existed. From start to finish, she was reliable, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. Precious and Sean brought my 30th Birthday dreams to life! I am not the easiest person to plan a party for as I am very paticular and am a HUGE perfectionist but Precious understood the assignment. We had meetings to discuss my vision and a whatsapp chat to keep an open channel of communication which was perfect. We worked within my budget and Precious helped me make every penny count, It can be so easy to overlook details in planning but everything was thought of. On the week of the party I felt like I had my own PA's I was able to relax and enjoy while all the set up, vendors etc was handled - even last minute runs to the shop. On the night it was INCREDIBLE, the team were so attentive to me and my guests ensuring everything was perfect at all times. I have never attended such a well organised event. Will 10000000% use them again in the future.

We had Green Lilly events do on the day day planning for us, after many months of crazy stress trying to work out how to plan and run a wedding, have Green Lilly come in and take over was beyond amazing. For us, what made Green Lilly a step ahead of other wedding planners, was an amazing ability to know how to guide the wedding, give such invaluable advice (which genuinely made the day better) but also to really respect what we wanted and help make that happen. The best decision we made at our wedding was to host it at Hoath House. The house was absolutely amazing but the main reason that Hoath house was the perfect venue is because of Harry. He was a dream to work with, and we feel so lucky that he is the coordinator of such an amazing venue! Harry was with us every step of the way of the planning process, and his event expertise allowed us to really get the most out of our celebration. He helped us to bring the vision to life by offering advice about the flow of people, the food and drink service and the general logistics of hosting a wedding. Whenever we had questions for him he was happy to hop on a call and give guidance, and he maintained a calm, professional and kind demeanour throughout the whole process. On top of all of that, he is just a really great guy. He took the stress out of planning the wedding, because he was so incredibly knowledgable and supportive of our plans! He really listened to and understood our vision and he helped to bring it to life. All of the vendors he recommended were fantastic, and we feel so lucky to have had him involved in our big day. Harry was great with our experience from start to finish. We needed a large marquee for our wedding and he made sure everything was perfect for us. The marquee itself was great and completely steady and was put up with plenty of time to allow us to decorate. Harry also provided us with a stage for our band and a dance floor which were both also perfect for our event. Very professional and incredibly helpful. Highly recommend for any event.

Blue Circle events was outstanding for a 3 day 50th birthday weekend. Harry and his team went above and beyond MULTIPLE times for our group, even the smallest requests. The communication, patience, and professionalism was unmatched. We look forward to utilizing them again for years to come.

We used Surrey events hire for our wedding, Steve was the DJ along with his colleague and also provided the photo booth. The team was fabulous throughout, Steve played our pre arranged song requests as well as songs that he thought would be most appropriate and we were not disappointed! Our guests are still commenting on how good the DJ was and the songs that were played, they loved it! Full dance floor all night!! Guests ranging from 24 years old to 78 years old and everyone was dancing all night! Steve did a fab job to keep the party flowing from the first dance to the last. We gave him a huge task with such a variety of music, including songs that aren’t everyone’s taste and he made everything flow perfectly building up to certain genres. I want another wedding just for the dancing!! Would highly recommend! X

AMAZING! Steve provided beautiful draping and an incredible mirror ball for our wedding at Hampton Court House on 28th July and we were blown away! Despite it being quite a tricky job with lots of existing lights Steve made it look absolutely beautiful and I was blown away when we first saw it all! Surrey Event Services recently provided a fantastic DJ - Jeremy, for our wedding reception. He mixed the tracks seamlessly and we all spent hours happily dancing the night away! He was a lovely guy and set up and tided away very quickly and professionally.

My partner and I recently got married in London and we hired Dita as our on the day coordinator. Dita made the wedding so much less stressful and she was completely supporting of our quirky ideas and helped us bring them to life. Something that we didnt experience speaking to other wedding experts. Dita's help and knowledge was invaluable and the staff she brought for the event were also so so lovely. We couldn’t speak highly of them enough. A lot of our friends and family complimented the staff saying how helpful and accommodating they were! Overall, the wedding was amazing and we couldn't have done it without Dita!

After 3 years of procrastination, we finally decided to plan our wedding in London while living in the US. All we can say is thank goodness for Dita! From beginning to end, Dita was incredibly patient while we made up our minds. She was never pushy and always encouraged us to do what we wanted, all while appreciating our budget. Not only was our garden transformed into a beautiful wedding reception venue, but the atmosphere was elevated by Dita’s impeccable styling. Moreover, she really went above and beyond in working with us from abroad to select excellent catering with a bespoke cocktail menu. She was an exceptional collaborator in how she worked with us to bring together a beautiful multicultural experience that spoke to our families’ traditions. Dita and her team were all brilliant leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. We couldn’t have done it without her. It is thanks to Dita that we have such wonderful memories of our wedding day!

When I came up the with the plan of holding our wedding in our garden, little did I know how much I needed Dita’s logistical prowess! We hired Dita as an on-the-day coordinator but soon extended that to include her full team, as it was clear we needed more help! Dita and her whole team were amazing. Dita has the ability to quickly grasp the concept and just understand what you’re trying to achieve as well as focus on the little touches that really matter. On the day, Dita and her team smashed it! Navigating uncertain weather (and scenarios for every event - rain, sun, cold….), they quickly sprung into action whenever the weather changed! They also made the place look truly beautiful!! I could not rate Dita highly enough!

From the outset Sophie was professional, genuinely interested and knew the right questions to ask. On the day itself she was a godsend. In the 30 degree heat and the general craziness that is your wedding day, she handled everything brilliantly and I felt in safe hands throughout. She ensured everyone was in the right place at the right time and as a result the whole day went perfectly and without a hitch. To top everything she's a truly lovely girl and my only regret is that I didn't have her on board earlier! I would recommend her wholeheartedly.

Having a wedding planner is as much about what you DON’T see as what you do. Sophie was the invisible glue behind the scenes - linking the caterers, the hotel staff, the florist, dj and guests. Some months later we attended another wedding where the transitions between the cocktail, the dinner and the party were a bit confusing. They needed a Sophie.

When we first started dreaming up our big day we had no intention of hiring a wedding planner, but we are so glad that we did! Sophie was a god-send throughout the entire process – from helping us establish a realistic budget, through to delivering our perfect wedding day flawlessly. Sophie was an absolute pleasure to work with, keeping us updated regularly whilst also taking a lot of the time-consuming admin off our hands. The suppliers Sophie recommended were incredible and we never would have found them without her help – in particular we will never get over the incredible flowers that Sophie and Lucy designed together. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Sophie and she stayed super calm, even when we hit bumps in the wedding planning road (which she always managed to resolve). Her amazing planning skills and reliable team on the day meant that we didn’t have to lift a finger from lunchtime the day before the wedding – we were able to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family and to have a calm morning of preparations whilst all the logistics happened behind the scenes. On the actual day we were blown away by the styling and execution of everything – it was just amazing to see it all come to life and we can’t thank Sophie enough for her time, dedication and passion that went in to making it a reality. Our advice if you are on the fence about hiring a wedding planner is to just have a chat with Sophie – she has lots of different levels of service depending on your needs, and for us the full planning and styling was an investment that was 100% worth every penny.

Sophie brought an originality to every single tiny element of the whole day, researching, presenting and organising such incredibly unique ideas. What Sophie gave us was the ability to truly enjoy our wedding day. She took the stress away and allowed us the time to breath and indulge and laugh and dance and be free to feel the emotion and love of an event that meant so much to us and our family. Without all of what Sophie brought to both the planning, the preparation and the day, our wedding just would not have been what it was - the most fun, emotional, enjoyable, personal day of our lives. From start to finish it was a thousand times more brilliant than what we'd dreamed of.

Mirage Parties just organised and planned our wedding day. Julia and Christian were the dream team at the helm, innovating while paying attention to every little detail. With 160 guests, and three tents for ceremony, dinner and dance respectively, it was no easy feat. They kept the flow of people moving, but also keeping smiles on faces, not just of us, but of every single guest! Would recommend in a heartbeat.

We have just had the best party ever with Mirage - "legendary" and "magical" are two words our friends have used frequently. I would highly recommend Julia, Christian, Alex and the team to anyone as they are so professional and thoughtful, which is a great combination. Memories to last forever and well worth it...!

"Best 18th ever!!" Mirage were superb. They organised an amazing nightclub in our garden which exceeded all expectations. Everyone is still talking about it weeks later. The marquee was unbelievable; just stunning, the food was excellent, cocktails delicious (Woo Woo is everyone's new favourite cocktail, even the boys!), the staff were so nice and DJ Scott kept the dance floor full the whole evening. Faultless organisation from start to finish and birthday girl is left with amazing memories of an unforgettable night. She is still smiling! Thank you so much, Mirage.

Mirage organised a fantastic triple 21st birthday party for us. They were very professional from initial planning, six month prior, through to post party clear up. Nothing was too much trouble and the marquee, lighting and other party stuff they provided hit just the right note. I cannot recommend them enough. I hired a 16 foot dome for my wife’s Bridgerton-inspired garden dinner party. On a rare sunny summer’s day the dome sparkled, providing an ethereal backdrop to set off the party in style. At night, lights brought the dome to life and created a really unique English summertime ambience. Susan helped me plan my entire event and I recommend a quick phone call as she was so helpful with all the little touches, balloons, lighting, private chef, table & seating etc. I recommend hiring the dome for 2 nights, as it was excellent value for money! Susan a was a joy to work with as she took all the pressure off of planning and delivered exactly what was promised. A truly unique experience.

As a supplier who has worked at Hookhouse Farm for the last 3 years, I can confidently say it’s one of Surrey’s most unique and charming venues. Set in a beautiful, secluded location, it offers the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and personalised wedding. Carole, who owns and manages the venue, is incredibly helpful and supportive, not just to the couples but also to suppliers. Her attention to detail ensures that everything runs smoothly, making it a pleasure to work here. The venue itself is a blank canvas, allowing couples to tailor every aspect of their day to suit their vision. The Thrashing Barn is beautifully rustic, and the surrounding gardens are equally stunning. The option for glamping is a brilliant addition, and allows couples to turn their wedding into their own mini festival! The toilet facilities are very well maintained, there is no need to hire in portable toilets and the snug area outside the Barn offers a comfortable spot for guests to relax. Overall, Hookhouse Farm is a gem, and we always look forward to returning. It’s the ideal venue for anyone looking for a charming and flexible wedding setting.

I’m not really sure where to start. We got married at Hookhouse on 17th June 2023 and I cannot praise Carole and Jenni enough! They were so helpful, full or support and great advice and soooo calming! The venue is stunning, every guest has commented on how lovely the barn was. We had the best day which ran so somoothh and relaxed! Sad it’s over but we’ll be back in 10 years time to celebrate again! If you’re considering Hookhouse, DO IT! You will not regret it x

Laura planned and decorated our garden for our engagement party in August 2021. It was stunning! This included balloons around the summer house, beanbags and small kneeling tables around the open grass area and a welcome sign for our guests. It really brought the whole party together and made a perfect backdrop for pictures! Thanks again Laura!

Laura is amazing! She and her team created a fantastic setting for our daughter’s Harry Potter sleepover - the room was transformed! Laura is so organised, creative and thoughtful - even the setup process was made as easy for us as possible, and every detail was thought of - even down to which specific teepees should be dressed with which Harry Potter houses in order to ensure each girl was happy with the one she got. I can’t recommend Gift Wrapped Events highly enough, thank you Laura and team!!

My daughter chose the jungle theme teepee for her 10th birthday sleepover and it didn't disappoint. It was so lovely seeing the living room change into a lovely space for the girls to party. The details on the teepees were so cute. It was a very special start to a double digit celebration. Gemma and Laura were excellent at keeping in touch and helping me with the planning and punctual. I can highly recommend them. (ps the dog wasn't included but she loved it!)
