We were so lucky to find and work with Lucia for our August wedding. Having her as our wedding planner was by far the best decision we made. We had ideas about what we wanted, but not a cohesive vision - Lucia managed to take those strands and turn them into something tangible that flowed throughout our whole wedding celebration. Even with a wedding planner, last minute issues pop up - but having Lucia there meant they were pretty much resolved before we were even aware there was a problem. With busy jobs, this was invaluable. In the run up to the day, Lucia was nothing short of fantastic. But on our wedding weekend is where she was a real superstar. For us everything about our wedding went seamlessly. Not only has she got a great eye for detail (our wedding breakfast room looked amazing and she even managed to artistically disguise some scuffs on the wall) but her energy just made everyone she interacted with (our guest and suppliers) so at ease and happy. The morning after a very long day and night (!), Lucia and her daughter even came back to the venue and made mini bouquets from our flowers that our guests could take home with them. We had so many comments from close friends and family telling us how amazing our wedding planner was - and Alex was recommending her to everyone we know. I think that says it all! Lucia was brilliant. Based on friends I know who got married at the same time having a wedding planner is so helpful but having the right wedding planner is the key! Everything about our wedding weekend was not only perfect, it was stress free and I know that was because of Lucia’s efforts.

Lucia is absolutely incredible! We got married in July 2023 and Lucia was absolutely amazing! From the start of the process, Lucia was responsive to my emails and messages and answered all my questions and concerns, Lucia listened to our vision for our day and offered the best advice on how to achieve the romantic dreamy look we were going for. Not sure even where to begin with how incredible Lucia is - from listening to my random selection of ideas and Pinterest photos on our first call to turning that into a beautiful, modern, sophisticated vision which was more amazing than we could have ever imagined. At every meeting my husband and I walked away saying “Lucia is the best decision we made.” Beyond the amazing design, Lucia’s organisation, planning and delivery of our day and the management of the collection of suppliers (I also was so happy with every supplier she recommended personally) made the whole experience completely stress free and I know we wouldn’t have enjoyed our wedding as much as we did if we hadn’t had such a trusted and excellent planner. Our guests and family also commented on excellent she was. Lucia’s attention to detail is incredible - there was no detail that she hadn’t considered or wasn’t on top of and it really showed. If you want a beautifully designed and stress-free wedding day you need to have Lucia involved. She is the best decision we made!

We initially approached Lucia for event styling, wanting to bring cohesion to our vision for a beautiful wedding at the Corinthia London. We struggled to find any inspiration pictures for what we wanted as it didn’t exist. Lucia offered both simple ideas and more extravagant options to bring cohesion without pressuring us. Her expertise extended beyond design elements to enhancing our guests’ experience, suggesting unique ideas we hadn’t considered. Both of us were quite time poor so it was a relief to know there was someone looking after these things! The day before the wedding my mother had an unexpected injury. Unsure of how serious it was, I contacted Lucia first. Within three hours of scheduled departure we had two ambulances at the house. Lucia stayed in contact as we traveled to the venue with all luggage. We put Lucia in contact with my Dad in the hopes my parents would be able to travel to the venue later. Lucia researched transport options and arranged for them to join us once mum was released from the hospital. Not as easy as it sounds when you live in Kent, the wedding is in London, and your parents are at a hospital in a location you don’t even know. This was above and beyond her duties but it truly speaks to her caring nature. I will never forget how Lucia kept it together for us on that day. Many guests called it the best wedding they’d ever attended, largely thanks to Lucia’s seamless coordination with her suppliers. On the day she was in her element. She ensured everything ran like clockwork, creating a truly phenomenal and unforgettable event. Lucia, thank you for your dedication, late nights, and guidance in making our wedding day one to remember!

To Have and To Hire Events were fantastic decorating Upwaltham Barns for our November wedding. The team were amazing putting up all of the draping and fairy lights around the venue which made it look so magical. All of our guests commented on the aesthetic and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. The team were also so friendly on the lead up to the day and were helpful with any queries we had. They even custom made our table plan with antlers we provided! Highly recommend this company for all types of events including weddings.

To Have & To Hire did our decoration for our 2 day wedding at Buxted Park Hotel and East Sussex National. They did such an amazing job on both days to help our vision come to life, but what impressed us the most, was our multicultural wedding for the second day. We were wanting a traditional Asian set-up and specifically after a “Mandap” which they had never done before. The Mandap looked incredible and was exactly what we wanted. It wowed all the guests and the centrepieces looked incredible too with some people thinking that the flowers were real! A massive thank you to Sara, Michelle and the team for being the best, super helpful and very communicative throughout the whole process. It helped to make planning a 2-day wedding seamless.

We were recommended by upwaltham barns (our chosen venue) to use to have and to hire. We are so glad we did! Everything turned out perfectly. I had my wedding on 31st October 2024 so wanted to go with the autumnal theme with a few pumpkins added. They did not disappoint, everything was beautiful. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to do this myself, they captured my vision perfectly throughout the whole venue. Thank you very much for helping to make our day perfect!❤️

We used TH&TH for some decorative elements at our wedding in Sussex in August and could not be happier with the service. We chose to hire some floral/decorative elements as well as a lounge set for the barn style venue and the pieces worked so well with our theme - the photo spot which was decorated by the team was particularly popular with our guests and we've got some amazing photos and memories. We booked Ella for both decor and on-the-day coordination at our wedding at Northbrook Park and we could not have been happier! She was absolutely brilliant through the whole process, accommodating our ever-changing ideas and helping us to source a few things that she didn’t stock. We met at her studio to choose decor and she really helped us to imagine how it might look on the day, making really good suggestions aligned to our style preferences. In the last few weeks before the wedding we met at the venue to do a full run-through of the day, which really helped to bring it to life in our minds. It was one of our favourite parts of the planning process. On the day, Ella did an amazing job of setting everything up so beautifully (I can’t believe she can do so much on her own!), remembering every tiny detail and making some last minute decisions where needed. The day ran so smoothly and that is entirely down to Ella’s organisation. She was on top of everything, keeping the day to schedule and letting us relax and enjoy it. We initially thought that we’d be able to manage without a coordinator but looking back we don’t know what we’d have done without Ella; we cannot recommend booking her enough.

We got married at High Billinghurst Farm on 30th November 2024, and we could not have been more happy with our choice. The barn is absolutely stunning, something our guests continue to comment on, and created the most stunning backdrop to our day. It's an intimate venue which just invites people to feel relaxed, and for an Autumn/Winter wedding, felt like a big hug, and created the most beautiful backdrop for photographs, whether amateur or professional. The two barns (new and old) created an incredible and easy flow as we moved between the two spaces, from ceremony and reception, to wedding breakfast, cocktail hour and dancing. The place is so flexible and has so many features, indoors and out, that it would be the perfect, most idillic setting at any time of year. Tom and team were fantastic to work with and wonderful on the day itself, working with our other suppliers so that we did not even have to think about logistics on the day. Thank you all so much. We had the most special day.

High Billinghurst Farm is a gorgeous barn and rustic boho venue, south west of the Surrey Hills. Having photographed Weddings there I can say that from experience that the staff and facilities are wonderful and perfect for your Wedding Day in Surrey. A gorgeous getting ready house for the bride and a stunning barn with an extra space attached for guests and seating, lots of parking, a bar area, gorgeous courtyard with lawn with fields nearby and endless possibilities for photos on your day. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect venue for our summer wedding than High Billingshurst Farm! Tom and his team were really accommodating and easy to work with. The venue offers a mix of settings depending on what you’re after and because the sun came out we were able to use our favourite spots - the courtyard and the rose garden. So beautiful!! We had the most amazing day, thank you!!

We got married here this summer and couldn't have been happier with the whole weekend! It was absolutely perfect and we got so many compliments on how brilliant the venue was! The layout is so well set out that it gave the day the perfect flow. Tom and his team were brilliant in the run up, answering our questions and doing everything they could to accommodate our perfect day. The day before they were incredible setting up the props how we wanted them, and were really helpful with ideas and suggestions. We got ready at the cottage, married in the beautiful woodland, canapes in the courtyard and dinner and the party in the main barn, finished off with surprise fireworks and camping in the field. We stayed in the shepherd hut which was beautifully decorated and enjoyed breakfast on the Sunday with our camping guests before the pack down. On the night Chris was awesome at helping to coordinate the suppliers and deal with timing problems with the band so we didn't need to get involved, as well as keeping the fireworks under wraps to help surprise the bride and guests. We can't thank you all enough for everything you did to give us the most spectacular day! This is such a versatile wedding venue that has so many options to give you peace of mind with the weather.

Apollo organised our wedding for us and are quite simply brilliant at what they do - we could not have pulled off such a beautiful wedding without them! We were initially a little daunted by the prospect of organising a wedding, however we needn’t have been. Tim took all the stress out of the planning process and the day itself, which allowed us to just enjoy it and do all the exciting things! Tim has an excellent knowledge of and rapport with suppliers - we felt we had the best of everything with none of the hassle of trying to find caterers, marquee companies etc. He also has a great eye for detail and very much had us as a couple in mind when coming up with ideas, so the day really reflected our personalities. Tim was invaluable on the day itself and we felt so looked after - something you don’t often feel as bride and groom, being so conscious about everything and everyone else. He is also very personable and great fun - each time we met with him we felt so excited about our plans materialising. His team are all fab and added to the atmosphere on the day. We are so grateful to Apollo for putting together the most special day of our lives!

Unusually, the Hall itself was open today for an embroidery exhibition. The garden is delightful as usual with Camelias the stars of the show today.

We got married in October at Ramster Hall. With the location, gardens and the venue itself it was absolutely perfect. We looked at quite a few venues and we are so pleased we chose Ramster. It completely exceeded our expectations on the day with how wonderful it looked once everything was set up. Rosie was so helpful throughout, always happy to answer our questions and nothing was a hassle. We had so many lovely comments from our guests. It really is a special place for a wedding and thank you for everything.

I photographed a wedding there a few months ago and fell in love with the venue. Beautiful garden for drinks and canapés and the interior felt grand and elegant. The staff were great too!

A gorgeous wedding venue in Surrey. Rosie couldn’t have been more helpful and generous with her time both leading up to the day and on the day itself. And a lovely personal touch meeting us by the entrance of Ramster Hall with a glass of Prosecco in hand to welcome us to the venue on the day. Everything was seamless and the recommended suppliers were excellent!

We couldn’t recommend Helen highly enough. Every step of the way Helen was supportive and guided us through the whole process. After every phone call she put me at ease and I felt a sigh of relief that everything was going in the right direction. The day before our wedding, Helen met us at the venue to do a handover and from that point onwards I was able to totally relax and enjoy this special time with my husband-to-be and all of our family and friends knowing our day was in the safe hands of Helen. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly. There was some confusion about the tableware which was organised by myself, however superwomen Helen took control of the situation and managed to source everything we needed the day of (with a little help from her lovely husband who was the delivery man!). I would not have known anything what had happened BTS until after the wedding, for this we are so grateful. We had the best weekend of our lives and this wouldn’t have been possible without Helen, thank you for everything!

What can I say except 'We could not have done it without Helen'!! When arranging our wedding ourselves (a garden party on our friends farm) I really needed someone the take charge of the day and Helen did not disappoint. From the beginning she was responsive, helped me find suppliers and provided invaluable advice! The day itself was a dream, EVERYTHING was looked after from decorations, keeping the bar stocked, serving drinks and food and just making sure everything ran smoothly! We had the best day. These guys are amazing! We just had Helen and her team at our wedding last weekend. In the run up Helen was so helpful and we had great communication. On the day, the team were so friendly and so helpful, we couldn’t fault them in the slightest. Everything ran perfectly smoothly, speaking to our guests during and after the wedding, we have had so many compliments saying it was the most well organised wedding they’d been to and that Helen’s crew were so lovely and generally just the best! They worked brilliantly with our caterer, I don’t think you’d know they were actually separate companies. They were happy to put out our snacks during the drinks reception and our evening buffet we had organised the evening before, which meant the whole wedding party could actually relax and enjoy the party. Helen was happy to order in some specific alcohol I knew us and the guests would like to drink. If I was ever planning an event I would definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone. We hired Helen for our on the day coordinator for our wedding and could not have made a better decision! From the initial site visit, we could tell Helen was competent and experienced from the questions she was asking and she helped us think of things we wouldn't have otherwise. She coordinated all of the glass hire which was so helpful, and also brought lots of things for use at the wedding which helped both logistically and financially, like all of the water jugs for the tables. On the day, Helen and her staff worked extremely hard and followed all my sometimes detailed, sometimes vague, instructions. They did everything from reception drinks, lighting candles, replenishing bottles on tables, cutting and distributing cake, running the evening bar, dealing with toilet emergencies (!), coordinating with the band, and most importantly cleaning up, really well. She even made sure my and my husband's waters were always topped up and we got the cake flavour we wanted! Where she had to take initiative due to vague instructions, she did easily with no fuss, and the whole day ran very smoothly thanks to her. We also had her help for the brunch the next day where she was an absolute godsend, setting up a brunch for 50 people with just one other person. We genuinely would have struggled without her on both days. Our guests also specifically commented on how great the staff were. I highly, highly recommend to any brides (or anyone running an event) looking for help in the lead up or especially on the day of the wedding. I didn't think I needed anyone initially, and I was wrong! Hire Helen!

We had the very best day at Burningfold. I honestly can't put into words how fantastic everything turned out and, the attention to detail and personal approach of the team was above and beyond our expectations. The venue itself is exquisite - private and grand, yet homely and, in the most sublime location. Everything you need is on hand and the catering options are tailored perfectly to budget and style. Would love to do it all over again !!

Such an idyllic & peaceful location. A perfect spot for a countryside retreat. Every room in both the Coach House & Manor House is unique, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The open fires were a real treat, especially after a chilly January swim in the pool! We especially loved all of the perfectly positioned sofas so that every one of our 15 guests could always find a peaceful corner to themselves. We will definitely be back!

We had the most magical winter wedding at Burningfold. It is a fantastic venue in the most beautiful countryside. Jessica is a brilliant organiser and a very safe pair of hands who made organising our wedding a joy! So many happy memories of our special day that we shall treasure forever.

Burningfold created more than just the wedding of our dreams. It is a truly stunning venue and on the day we were blown away. The team took all the stress out of organising the wedding and went above and beyond. The food, staff and service were faultless! We felt truly lucky to get married there and wish we could do it all over again.

A very professional yet friendly company, we haired some things for our Daughter's Christening for 80 people. Best Dressed Events came before to set up and made it look fantastic. They then came at the agreed time to pack away. They even gave our Daughters a gift which was lovely. Thanks so much.

Louise organised our central London ceilidh wedding reception and was absolutely brilliant from the moment we engaged her. Louise thought of everything and was great at dealing with suppliers - including some tricky customers! She was always on hand and we had such confidence in her - it was a blessing to hand everything over to her in the run up to the reception. We were so impressed with how calm Louise was on the night and how she was constantly attentive whilst operating behind the scenes. We couldn't have imagined the stress had Louise not been there, it was amazing how on top of things she was. She really enabled us to just enjoy ourselves without any worries at all.
