Fantastic help to sort out our dysfunctioning electric underfloor heating system; the controls weren't installed properly, and we'd struggled with this for two years. Josh and his partner spent the morning working through the issues and by the process of elimination were able to sort the problem efficiently and quickly. Before and after photos. The work was to install some ceiling downlighters to a bedroom and to enhance the control of three sets of outside lights. Josh arrived as arranged and I used his advice and experience on the best placement of the ceiling lights so that we can use it as a bedroom or an office. The area was sheeted up to contain the dust of overhead drilling and afterwards thoroughly vacuumed and left clean. The outside lights required investigation to establish the existing wiring and working out how to make the adjustment I was after without compromising the flexibility of the existing controls. The work in both areas was completed quickly and efficiently, with minimum disruption, and all the usual off cuts of wire cleared away and the areas left in a clean and tidy state. I have no hesitation in recommending Magnum Electrical - this is the third time I have used them.

I would highly recommend Lee and his team. We have called upon them for a couple of issues in our flat and Lee recently installed a new boiler for us. Despite it being an awkward job, the finish is fantastic and our water pressure has even improved. What's more, Lee sent us some suggestions to improve other parts of the flat, such as the overall ventilation. Lee has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy and we'll be sure to use S&S again in the future.

I rang this morning about my leaky sink, Lee rang back very quickly, was very open, realistic and transparent regarding costs and was able to send out his guy Chris within the hour. Chris was polite and professional and he fixed the problem efficiently (which was caused by another “plumber” I had hired from a different company to install a new sink). Chris even cleaned up after himself. I highly recommend Lee and his team and will definitely use them again!

Stewart and Stewart were available to provide a boiler service and gas safety inspection at my tenants’ flat at short notice when the company I had been paying into each month, for a call-out plan that should have covered this, let me down. Grateful to them for stepping in, liaising with the tenants and getting the job done without issue, and within the legal deadline, ensuring I didn’t breach regs. Easy and friendly to deal with. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Jake has been brilliant throughout the duration of our project. His knowledge around garden lighting, where to position and which products to use was invaluable. The standard of his and his teams work is very very high. They are neat in their installations, clipping wires precisly, mounting lights in specific places as well. Jake also offered his advice but also listened to ours and that combined means he has delivered a great garden lighting project. He kept us informed at all stages along the way as well, so it was delivered on time. We can't thank Jake and his team enough. We too would highly recommend to anyone wanting someone with a lot of experience and expertise to help them bring an idea to fruition.

Crown Plumbing just did my annual boiler service. Jack the engineer arrived as scheduled, phoning me 20 mins before to let me know he would be arriving. He was very tidy. Did a thorough job on the boiler service and highlighted some items that would need attention at next service. The cost was as advertised and in my opinion represented good value for money.
