Sam has done several jobs for us and all of them have been excellent. He is totally trustworthy, reliable and skillful. He re-pointed an old wall to make it immaculate without looking brand new, fixed a nasty crack in another wall by some kind of magic as you'd never know anything had happened, re-laid wobbly paths and patio and built a smart brick BBQ which matches surrounding brickwork. He cares about getting the job done right, sources the best materials and discusses better ideas than we had ourselves. Thanks, Sam

We've had Dave and his team in for the first stage of our garden project and will be engaging him again for the rest. As well as being qualified and experienced, Dave's also a really nice guy with lots of great ideas & guidance. Dave & the team did a great job and left everything tidy. I have always wanted a pond but until recently we thought we had nowhere to put one in our garden. Then we met Dave who enthusiastically told us he could build one for us on our sloping, unused bit of grass. We weren't quite sure what we wanted or what we were expecting. Dave guided us and he and his team have built an amazing pond and surround which will provide a fantastic feature in the garden as well as being a haven for wildlife. We are really looking forward to planting the area and incorporating it into our garden. Dave and his team were brilliant; always cheerful and considerate despite terrible weather. We are delighted with their work.

Ross and his team have done work at our house on more than one occasion now. From clearing overgrown shrubs to putting in a new fence, nothing was too much bother and all work was carried out within timescales and completely professionally. Having had the same gardener for many years, who was unable to continue, we were absolutely delighted with the total transformation achieved by Ryan (with help from Josh). Ryan and his colleague did a great job tidying up my garden in preparation for Winter. They trimmed the hedges, pruned trees, weeded my drive and turned over the flower beds, as well as mowing the lawn and tidying up borders. They removed all garden waste and left the garden looking clean, tidy and ready for the cold months. And all done with a smile and good humour. He’s agreed to return in the Spring to provide a regular maintenance service going forward. I’m very pleased, and he was reasonably priced too!

A near-total garden renovation that involved digging out a huge amount of old paving and flower beds before replacing two fences and laying new paving. Everything was completed to an excellent standard and we were kept updated throughout the project with progress and any complications, which were always presented with solutions. Ten thumbs up!

More recently, again with their care and attention to detail, they adapted another garden for me. Frances and her team have expert knowledge and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They listen carefully to my ideas and carry them out whilst also making suggestions that add much to make the garden quite perfect.

My garden has been completely transformed into a rustic haven once 1 to One Garden Design set to work on my patio, pond and path. Rob and Frances have really good ideas and they are very methodical with attention to detail. They are very tidy workers and always cleared up after each day’s work. Nothing is too much trouble and I would definitely recommend 1 to One Garden Design. In fact my neighbours are now using their services with a more contempary design.

I found Duncan James Landscapes Ltd staff to all be Polite, friendly, clean and very good with communications and consulting with me throughout the whole project. Duncan and Rachel were brilliant from start to finish, always friendly and tidy and the quality of their work is second to none. They dug out and built us a beautiful new patio and with stone and brick wall surrounding it.
