We cannot recommend Matthew and his team highly enough. They recently designed, made and installed bookcases/ cabinets in our home office and we are absolutely delighted with them. Matthew guided us through the process from initial design discussions to the installation, with care and complete professionalism. He advised us at every stage of the process and considered everything down to the smallest of details. The end result is better than we had hoped for.

Matthew's work is impeccable. He has real attention to detail and the end result is beautiful. He's a pleasure to work with - punctual polite and very tidy. Highly recommended.

Matthew has been really supportive and patient as we went through the design process for our bookcase. Visiting his workshop and going through all of the options was really useful and helped us understand exactly what we were after, especially seeing where the work would be done. Now the bookcase has been installed we could not be happier and the quality of the work is excellent. I would whole heartedly recommended Matthew for his carpentry.

In writing this review, I believe I will echo the extremely positive position of all Matthew's customers. Matthew engaged with us to design and build custom furniture for a dining-room/study. Throughout our engagement, Matthew's needs analysis, design recommendations and attention to detail were superb. The team worked collaboratively with us throughout the build and installation in a friendly professional manner. We are delighted and cannot recommend Matthew and his team enough.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby has done further work for us adding hooks mounted on oak to the back of a door. Super job again. Toby did a top job, replacing all our bedroom doors. We're very pleased with the doors and the quality of the work is excellent. We will definitely use Militao again when we need bespoke carpentry completed.

We first employed Neil to build a bespoke storage unit in our utility room. Neil was fantastic. He was great at translating our ideas into paper and worked quickly and efficiently. We were so happy with the work, we asked him to build bespoke wardrobes for our master and second bedroom. He has done a brilliant job and the end product exceeded our expectations. I would definitely recommend Neil.

Neal built and fitted a pair of bespoke shaker wardrobes as part of our house renovation. The workmanship and quality are great, with meticulous attention to detail, i just need to paint them now...

Neal made me a long wanted under stairs cupboard and it does everything I wanted - holds 3 sets of golf clubs, 5 people’s shoes, laptops, monitors and printer . We looked at companies that specialise in under stairs cupboards but their modules did not suit our needs. It is totally bespoke and holds everything that was previously all around my hallway behind closed doors! Neal is a very efficient, neat and tidy worker who produced a very high quality product. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for some carpentry or joinery work.

Challenge Neal with any space and he'll make a brilliant unit or cupboard to fit! Highly recommend, especially for shoe storage when it's impossible to find the right unit anywhere else. Reasonably priced, efficient, courteous and very professional. You can't really go wrong!

We have used John and his sons to create bespoke built-in cupboards and wardrobes; create a false wall for fire and tv inserts; change doors and door fittings and they will soon be installing a new kitchen for us. Every job has been completed to an extremely high standard and we now wouldn't use anyone else. They are totally trustworthy, reliable and very pleasant to have in your home.

John Mills and Sons, altered our kitchen, changing cupboards, building a bespoke unit, fitting new worktop, new sink, and new tiles. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Extremely high standard of workmanship. Absolutely delighted with out new kitchen. Would highly recommend.

Company fitted new on-suite and downstairs cloakroom. This was done in a very professional manner and we were very pleased with the end results. The workman were excellent always on time and cleared away any mess on a daily bases. Highly recommended.

I used this company initially to replace my mirrored wardrobe doors and was so pleased, i asked them to build a false wall in my lounge to insert my tv and an electric fire. We first met Josh back in September 2023 when we were seeking quotes for a single storey kitchen extension We found Josh to be very friendly and knowledgeable, and we immediatly got the impression he was honest and trustworthy, and we were not wrong! Josh's quotes were very detailed, giving a clear breakdown of all the work and its associated costs, and right from the start we knew exactly what we were getting for our money. One the day work started we were appointed a Project Manager who was very friendly and helpful. A WhatsApp page was setup which proved to be very useful for the times when it was not possible to talk face to face. We always received friendly, helpful and quick responses to our many requests and questions. As the build progressed we quickly realised that we were deaing with a very professional team. All of the work was carried out to a very high standard, and we were constantly amazed at how hard the team worked. Having been very impressed with the standard of work on the extension, we expanded the scope to include a kitchen installation, new patio and numerous other improvements, all of which were carried out to the same high standard of workmanship and professionalism. We are still amazed at the transformation to our house, and we are very grateful to Josh and his team for helping us achieve such a great result. We certainly would highly recommend Josh to anyone considering any type of building work.

We are thrilled with our new space. Josh was brilliant from start to finish. He gave us so much time at tender and was very patient with all our questions. Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. We are very pleased with the quality of Luke's work, his friendliness and willingness to take on last minute requests, all at reasonable rates. We hope to use him again and would recommend him without hesitation.

Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides.
