We are delighted with the new stairs to our cellar. The options and practicalities about the design were discussed in detail with us before the stairs were made and fitted, and the fitting itself was done most efficiently, the fitters being prompt, careful and considerate. We were provided with exactly what we needed, in the optimal way for the situation. We would highly recommend.

Good, very professional company with reliable and excellent tradespeople. Always punctual when promised. Also available to speak to during any works. So important especially if there are problems. This is a company that takes FULL responsibility for its workers. So if there’s a problem, no hesitation in sorting and remedying it. Joey a manager, was especially kind, caring and helpful towards me. He too, is an outstanding carpenter. I have no hesitation in highly recommending this company.

Excellent work by James and his team (Max, Chris and Attila). We had a number of custom units designed, built, fitted and painted by James Carpentry and we love them all! The team were punctual, polite, clean and have great attention to detail - they clearly take pride in their work. The quality and finish is excellent. It was a pleasure to have them at our home. We were impressed by how quickly they came round to do measurements, their patience with all our questions and the overall time it took to get everything done. Attaching some photos of their work! I had two bespoke wardrobes built in our home by James and his team. From the initial consultation with Anna, to James and the team who built the wardrobes and Attila who hand painted them - I could not fault any part of the process. Excellent communication through-out, spoilt for choice in terms of options, well priced and built in a timely fashion to a high standard, by a team who were polite and tidy. HIGHLY recommend James Carpentry!

We had an alcove unit made for us and a full length wall fitted wardrobe. The whole team were fab - from the designs, to the door knobs, to how tidy and considerate they were building the units and their attention to detail. Very professional and friendly and excellent quality.

We are extremely pleased with the service provided by James' team and we could not be happier with our new fitted wardrobe. From first contact with Anna to installation, communication was extremely professional. They are very knowledgeable and they take the time to address all your concerns and requests, giving you excellent advice about the design and the smallest details. The installation service was carried out smoothly, without much disruption to us and within the agreed timeframe. The quality of the product speaks for itself - a lot of our friends and family have already commented on how beautiful our new wardrobe looks and how functional is the interior. Paul did an amazing job building the built in alcove units. We have just finished painting them and are so pleased with them (just need to buy some more bits and bobs for the shelves now!). We needed some built in cupboards and floating shelves in an alcove and are absolutely thrilled with Paul's work. He is not only a highly skilled carpenter but also a creative, and his vision and design was far beyond our expectations. We're looking forward to having him back in a few weeks to work on some more areas of the house and have recommended him to all our friends and neighbours. Rare to find someone who also works with such pride and is clean and tidy. Paul is also very friendly (and loves pets - a bonus!) - a real pleasure to have around the house.

Nick has done several things for me all to an extremely high standard. Altering a georgian table, repairing an antique head and restoring several old windsor chairs by stripping and rewaxing to a fabulous condition. Can’t recommend highly enough and will be using again.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby has done further work for us adding hooks mounted on oak to the back of a door. Super job again. Toby did a top job, replacing all our bedroom doors. We're very pleased with the doors and the quality of the work is excellent. We will definitely use Militao again when we need bespoke carpentry completed.

Laszlo installed new engineered wood flooring, releveled floor in one room, changed skirting boards and installed new doors for us. He did a great job, especially with the bay window and considering all doors needed adjusting due to the age of the building. Laszlo is on time, polite and tidy! He takes great care and pride in his work and we will use him again in future!

We asked Laszlo to repair our windowsill, repaint front of the house and clean pvc. We’d never used him before but decided to after seeing the good reviews. He first came round to visit the house to discuss the plan. I liked his attitude and clarity. He then came back in a few weeks when he was next free. True to his word he took 2 days to complete the job. It was done to a very high quality standard, we’re really pleased with his work. It was also a reasonable price. Very personable and good communication. So satisfying when you find a carpenter / handyman who you can trust. Will definitely use Laszlos services in the future. 5 stars. Thanks!

Lazlo did a fantastic job fitting our new kitchen and we are very happy with the result. He was able to finish the job in a very short time, working even in the weekends.
