We asked NGK Design & Build Carpentry to repair our sagging front porch. We are pleased with the repair of our front porch by Nick and George. They worked thoroughly and in detail throughout, making sure every minor thing wasn't missed. As we liked their workmanship, we asked them to fit a staircase railing on the deck.

Totally pleased with Nick and George's work for us; a combination of carpentry and painting work. Initial planned job evolved a bit and they were very helpful in working through our options and the detail and finishing was top class and very good value for money. Will definitely use their services again.

George and Nick delivered a peerless service. The communication, engagement and quality of work was second to none. Issue were resolved promptly and the entire project was delivered on time and on budget. Needless to say we will be using them again.

Couldn’t recommend Timber Technology more highly. We’ve commissioned the team for two projects now (fitted wardrobes and bespoke library style bookcases). Lazlo did a fantastic job fitting our new kitchen and we are very happy with the result. He was able to finish the job in a very short time, working even in the weekends. His skills and experience were incredibly valuable and we trusted his advice all along the way. We have been using Lazlo on other project and we are definitely planning on using his services for other work on the house.

Laszlo installed new engineered wood flooring, releveled floor in one room, changed skirting boards and installed new doors for us. He did a great job, especially with the bay window and considering all doors needed adjusting due to the age of the building. Laszlo is on time, polite and tidy! He takes great care and pride in his work and we will use him again in future!

We asked Laszlo to repair our windowsill, repaint front of the house and clean pvc. We’d never used him before but decided to after seeing the good reviews. He first came round to visit the house to discuss the plan. I liked his attitude and clarity. He then came back in a few weeks when he was next free. True to his word he took 2 days to complete the job. It was done to a very high quality standard, we’re really pleased with his work. It was also a reasonable price. Marcio and his dad did an extraordinary job at our property, building and fitting two big wardrobes to perfection! From the very start, when Marcio first came round for a site visit, he was knowledgeable, professional and very communicative. His quote followed shortly, and then the works started and finished without any delays. The quality of craftmanship is stunning, we couldn't have asked for anything better than this! Absolute excellence! We will without hesitation pick Marcio again in the future if any new work will need to be undertaken.

They built and fitted new wardrobes, custom-made 2 alcove bookcases and several shelving units, repaired the staircase and built custom-made under-stairs storage. What I really appreciate is that they go above and beyond and communicate with you throughout the process: They send photos with updates, they ask questions to make sure they do the job exactly how you want it to be done, and they are thinking outside the box when something gets tricky. On top of that, they are reasonably priced and will suggest the most affordable option for you whenever possible. The moment you employ them they are on the ball, no chasing from our side ever. They are also super lovely to deal with, even our neighbours mentioned that everyone was very polite and quiet. I wouldn't hire anyone else for carpentry or decorating work. Bruce is an excellent carpenter, he did a grand job for us, he is also very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble, we would definitely recommend him.

Bruce did an amazing job creating a false chimney wall and shelving units on either side. We are over the moon with the work he has done to make our vision a reality. He was efficient, reliable, always kept us in the loop and the finish is excellent. Would highly recommend Bruce to anyone!

Bruce has designed and built a bespoke bed with steps, shelving, draws and a desk which made best use of space in a small bedroom. He also project managed the restructure of our kitchen/dining/family room using other reliable tradesmen. Bruce has just finished our third project in reshaping our lounge. Tom and his guys were superb for us. Great communication and always on top of things. Real professionals but also very personable. We are so pleased with everything Tom has done in our home. Tom has now led the refurbishment of our kitchen, diner, hallway, utility, downstairs shower room, main bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom. There’s never any nonsense and we enjoy having him around. We tried someone else when Tom wasn’t available and got badly burned. We can’t wait to work with him on our next round! If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

Tom was first recommended to us by a local kitchen company as one of their best carpenters. He fitted our new kitchen which looked fantastic. Tom then laid a new wooden floor throughout the dining and sitting rooms. Once again all laid with precision. Tom has come back this year to put in a new kitchen worktop and prep, screed, and lay kitchen floor plus fit new skirting boards. Tom is a very personable young man works extremely hard and we will use Tom every time.

Ryan and Lewis recently fitted my new kitchen. It was very easy to liaise with them and they were responsive to requests throughout, making helpful suggestions and coordinating the other trades as work progressed. The attention to detail was impressive and this shows in the final result. I am very happy with the work and would definitely use Orchard Carpentry again should the need arise.

I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Amazing! I am so grateful I chose Andrew as our roofer. His attention to detail is above and beyond anything I could have ever expected and his sincere and honest customer service is unbeatable. Andy came out to look at our chimney, as it was becoming an absolute nightmare. I had received a few alarming quotes, and a couple of no shows from other companies (would you believe it?!) Andy arranged to come and inspect the work needed and give me a quote at 7 o'clock in the evening, due to my difficult working hours and long commute, quoting really fairly. I asked about a few other odd bits that are on my long list of "to dos". His straightforward demeanor meant I was well informed about the necessary work, telling me that certain other bits could be cut in price here and there, as not as complicated (or expensive) as I was led to believe by other builders. Long story short, we've been lucky enough to have Andy as and when things come up. The chimney is repointed, our lead work has been done, he's even going to do us a few cabinets in the house, always keeping me in the loop about everything going on. And he cleans up after himself! Never known a roofer to be so meticulous in absolutely every little task. Honestly, if you're thinking about hiring AJC, you're already onto a winner! Absolutely brilliant!

Came across Mansur Carpentry by chance via the Next Door app and so glad that we did. Ferdi and Sevda visited to quote for picture rail / wall paneling installation in the living room design & installation of utility room storage. Our list then grew to plywood installation in living room and hallway floors, leveling hallway floor, boxing in pipes, installation of herringbone LVT flooring, adjusting room doors and kitchen cabinets. Ferdi provided an exact list of materials and designed the utility room based on IKEA cabinetry. The end results exceeded our expectations, Ferdi is a true Craftsmen. Communication was excellent, tidiness wonderful and honesty to match. Ferdi also very kindly helped us with some other jobs like installing door hooks and hanging a very large painting (twice 🙂). Cannot recommend enough!!!!

Ferdi built us an amazing cupboard to store our coats, shoes, hats and scarves. He planned and designed it on site and we are thrilled with the result. He was very neat and we were impressed with the quality of his work. We painted the cupboard ourselves but forgot to take ‘before’ photos. The cupboard was built using MDF.
