Selected as Chris visited to assess the work and offered solutions to issues and he listened to high detail and level of finish required. A professional outfit with excellent attention to detail and Chris made visits to oversee progress. Rich our daily visitor was a pleasure to host him daily and his own level of attention to detail is outstanding. He even rounded off an edge on door threshold so that grandchildren didn't get injured. Existing Kitchen doors cut to new size required were to an excellent finish and all trims matched in perfectly. All visitors (approx5) were courteous and all mess cleaned up frequently. If you want a job done well, then select the best.

Chris was very prompt in his initial reply to my enquiry. Had a couple of quotes and went with Chris mainly because unlike the 2 carpenters that quoted and could only do the woodwork, his team took on the whole project including woodwork, plastering and electrics (which were sub contracted) but meant i didn’t have to deal with multiple trades/people or issues with fitting them in around each other. Rich and Michael came to do the work, both were polite, professional, kept things as tidy as possible taking a wall down under the stairs and custom building cupboards, drawers, wine rack, shelves and space for fridge as requested. Very pleased with end result.

We are thrilled with our new space. Josh was brilliant from start to finish. He gave us so much time at tender and was very patient with all our questions. Josh and team completed a large kitchen / dining room conversion project for us. Work was completed perfectly, on time, on budget and Josh remained on call for any minor snagging for months after having finished - not that there were many things but he made sure everything was working as expected and as it should be. Needed a custom fit Wardrobe built in my bedroom and a friend recommended Elliott & Harvey who had done a great job for them. Elliott was quick to respond from the offset after I enquired. Building a wardrobe isn’t my field so he gave me numerous options and really listened to what i wanted and worked within my price budget. Elliott was very flexible and managed to squeeze us in before Christmas which we didn’t expect at all. Genuinely felt like he went out his way to get it done for us whilst we were still living out of bags. The Wardrobe itself took Elliott & Harvey just 1 day to build. On the day itself i was away with work but Elliotts communication around what he had done & giving regular updates was second to none. The quality of the Wardrobe and attention to detail with the shelfs, rails and sliding doors is excellent. Also when i returned from work it was like nobody had been in the house all day due to how tidy they had left it. Very professional, top quality work and would definitely recommend. Thank you.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Neal made me a long wanted under stairs cupboard and it does everything I wanted - holds 3 sets of golf clubs, 5 people’s shoes, laptops, monitors and printer . We looked at companies that specialise in under stairs cupboards but their modules did not suit our needs. It is totally bespoke and holds everything that was previously all around my hallway behind closed doors! Neal is a very efficient, neat and tidy worker who produced a very high quality product. I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for some carpentry or joinery work.

Luke did an excellent job of fixing a new internal door and realigning another door that was not closing properly. Luke also helped fix a pillar in the porch area as well as mounting security devices in my home. Focus Carpentry (Luke) are a fantastic little Gem of a tradesperson to keep in your armoury. Luke communicated well with us throughout the duration of his work and it was completed, on time and on budget (his prices were well bellow competitive quotes). Luke is a master of his trade in my opinion. He cared about the works that he did for us and was a pleasure to have around the house I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Luke and the services that he provides. I have been working with Mick on the renovation of my property for over a year and he has carried out many projects including panelling in my daughter’s bedroom and alcove cupboards and floating shelves in a playroom. However, Mick’s assistance in transforming our hallway deserves a review on its own! After being badly let down by a local building company, Mick came in and helped us create the hallway of dreams! We consulted with Mick about how best to create the hallway we wanted and worked together to create designs and source products. Mick completed a new hallway cabinet and matching shoe cupboard, panelling, picture rail, skirting boards and internal doors. The results are outstanding and has completely transformed our hallway. Mick is incredibly talented as well as a true professional and we have already recommended him to all of our local friends.

Mick completely transformed our garage into an excellent usable space. We consulted Mick at the outset of the project and he project managed from start to finish including organising separate contractors for plastering and electrics. Mick also provided advice on potential designs for the garage storage and helped with the procurement of products for the storage. Durabuild (Luke and Ben) built a large kitchen extension for us and also rebuilt our utility room and cloakroom. Throughout the project we found Luke and Ben to be highly professional and effective in managing issues and working with our plans. They coordinated a great team of trades around them and were always able to find solutions to issues. They were always punctual and communicated well. They were a pleasure to have in the house during the project, they have a definite "can-do" attitude and the finished build was really great. We have since had them back to fit a new ensuite successfully as a second project and we would be happy to recommend them to anyone contemplating building work.

I highly recommend choosing Durabuild for jobs big and small. Since we found them they have carried out all the work on our house and we wouldn’t choose anyone else. They have done major work including an extensive kitchen renovation and fit and a loft conversion, also smaller jobs like replacing all doors and architraves and replacing the banisters on the stairs. Their work is always carried out to and exceptional standard with as little disruption to the household and neighbours as possible. The site is always left clean and tidy and the same can be said for all of the various trades they bring in to complete the job. Ben and Luke have also been a great source of advice while we have considered doing various projects helping us get the best value from their work and enhancement to the property.
