Marcio and his dad did an extraordinary job at our property, building and fitting two big wardrobes to perfection! From the very start, when Marcio first came round for a site visit, he was knowledgeable, professional and very communicative. His quote followed shortly, and then the works started and finished without any delays. The quality of craftmanship is stunning, we couldn't have asked for anything better than this! Absolute excellence! We will without hesitation pick Marcio again in the future if any new work will need to be undertaken.

Marcio and his father-in-law did a fantastic job putting in some wardrobes in two rooms and flexible hanging/shelves in my converted attic walk-in wardrobe. The finished products look lovely and they built most of it off-site, so only entailed 3.5 days of disruption at home. They are nice guys and tidy workers, leaving the place immaculate each evening. I would definitely recommend them.

Marcio did an amazing job creating high quality storage in our loft. As you can see in the before and after photos they look great. He often went above and beyond to make the finish a very high standard. I would highly recommend.

Paul built fitted wardrobes for our bedroom - he is a fantastic carpenter. He was extremely efficient, friendly and kind and was able complete the whole thing in a day and a half. He was so kind to our little son, who kept trying to join in the building! He has a great eye for design and completes everything he makes to the highest standard. We are so pleased with the end product and can't wait to paint the doors and show them off!

We needed some built in cupboards and floating shelves in an alcove and are absolutely thrilled with Paul's work. He is not only a highly skilled carpenter but also a creative, and his vision and design was far beyond our expectations. I cannot recommend Oliver Smith Carpentry more highly. He and his team are part of a new generation of professionals - fastidious, careful, super-professional and serious about their work, unquestionably trustworthy, always cleaning up at the end of the day. We just wanted our garage converted into a useable space, what we now have is a fabulous room - thoroughly insulated, fireproof, airy, pleasant and handed over niggle free. It's a pleasure to be in there. All through the process (only 3 weeks) Oliver and his team worked hard, always on time, always calm and responsive to our requests and last-minute changes of mind. I just wish we had more projects for him to do as I'd book him like a shot. (and, truthfully, this is an unbiased review - we did not know Oliver before this job).

Ollie and the team were superb from start to finish. At the beginning we needed some help with the design of our outside office. Ollie was great and sat down and sketched out a few ideas with us. He followed up quickly and stayed in contact on a regular basis, before providing us with a detailed, clear quote shortly after our first meeting. During the build it was great to have him and the team on site, very respectful, professional and all round it was a pleasure. Any decisions/discussions during the build were open and easy, we always felt like we knew our options and the pros & cons of each. The whole project was on time if not early and even came in under budget. The quality of the finished office is excellent, so good in fact we've booked him in for another job already. Thanks again!!

We wanted an understairs wine cellar in solid oak, CVF came up with a great design and executed it to perfection. The craftsmanship is absolute top quality and the lengths they went to to ensure the oak matched our flooring was exceptional. I would highly recomend them and won’t hesitate in using them for any future projects.

I hired CVH to build a bookcase and cupboard . I chose CVH as they gave the most competitive quote and time estimate for installation. They were also very professional, practical, and efficient, I’m glad to say that they entirely lived up to my expectations and completed the project on time and on budget. I’m delighted with the end result . I really enjoyed working with them and would thoroughly recommend them.

Can't fault any work from the boys at CVH. Got a detailed quote and design over to me and once agreed on final bits started not long after. We had an alcove unit made for us and a full length wall fitted wardrobe. The whole team were fab - from the designs, to the door knobs, to how tidy and considerate they were building the units and their attention to detail. Very professional and friendly and excellent quality.

Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

Hugh was so professional, he totally remodelled a bedroom, moving stud walls and installing the walls for an en-suite. He was tidy, cleaned up after himself, very friendly and always on time.
