Dan built a bespoke doorframe and fitted a door for the opening to our new extension. Dan was brilliant from start to finish; he gave lots of advice about what was possible for us and then his work was very high quality and Dan took great care with the job. Cranmore Carpentry supplied and installed replacement internal doors to my house in Burpham. All eight doors were fitted with care and precision and the modern door design improved every room. We asked Matt to take down an interior wall and make good. He came and quoted, gave ideas and provided a fair quote. He was always polite and communicated well. We asked him about moving a few electrical points while he was on the job and he arranged this for us too. The finish was great, he kept things tidy and gave full care while completing the work. He also changed an interior door for us and we have asked him to quote to replace our wooden garage doors. A great service all round.

Toby designed and fitted some beautiful cupboards for us. We Have been using them for 6 months now, can tell the quality is good- absolutely no problems. Brilliant communication and also allowed us to change the design (from shaker style to a more traditional finish) at last minute which didn’t affect the final quote.

Toby and his colleague Aaron replaced all of our old internal doors with 13 new oak doors which have transformed the look of our house. Toby was very responsive to questions before the work and was the only provider I asked to quote who responded quickly in fact within 24 hours. He suggested slightly different doors to those I proposed which while of the same quality were slightly cheaper. The work was undertaken in a very professional manner and we are very pleased with the outcome and in fact are considering having further work done by Militao Carpentry. They were happy working round our inquisitive dogs, protected the carpets, cleared up at the end of each day (the work took a week) and were always polite and flexible. I would happily recommend.

We got in touch with Toby having followed his work on social media. We had reached the end of a large renovation project and needed some bespoke carpentry items to fit some quirky spaces - fitted ‘open style’ wardrobes in our dresser maximising space, converting a strange shower cupboard in my daughter’s bedroom into some huge storage cupboards (making good the surrounding area), building corner bookshelves in my husband’s study. And creating a storage unit to hide our TV/Console items! On initial meeting, Toby took time to understand our requirements, creating excellent drawings which brought these to life. I got to select the finish in farrow & ball paint to match our rooms, they look fabulous! The products were made and installed with great efficiency. Toby and his team were perfectionists on site and didn’t complete the project until they/us were 100% happy. We would highly recommend his services.

We contracted Harry to build a new roof and install new floors for an extension we were having built on our house and I have nothing but good to say about him and his company. The work was simply exceptional, outstanding quality and nothing was a problem. If ever plans had to be tweaked Harry simply worked with the change and made proactive suggestions as to how to make things better. He was respectful and considerate, cleaning up at the end of every day and ensuring my house was secure if he left before I returned in an evening. Harry and his assistant Fred, always arrived on time, and worked long days to ensure everything was completed on deadline. Refurbishment of existing staircase and galleried landing in early 2024. Works comprised the removal of existing wrought iron balustrades, handrails and nosings and replacing with solid oak handrail, spindles, nosings and baserails. The existing newel posts and staircase strings were retained and clad in oak veneered boarding. The soffit of the top flight of stairs was similarly clad. Finally, new oak veneered treads and risers were installed to the existing staircase. The overall result has completely transformed the hallway and double height reception area and we’re exceptionally pleased with the end result. Harry was very professional and tidy throughout the project. His communication skills and time keeping were exemplary. His workmanship was of the highest quality. Nothing was too much problem. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend Honeywood. After trawling around all the normal 'high street' kitchen suppliers I was really disappointed with not only the quality but cost of the sub standard units. I was a bit apprehensive of approaching a joinery company as I just thought it was totally unaffordable. Little did I know that this was the best decision I made. The kitchen was designed to my exact specification. The whole process was clear and was personal to us. The fitting was pain-free, the end result is absolutely stunning and it didn't cost nearly as much as I thought it would. Tidy, professional and delivering what you ask for. We used Honeywood Carpentry & Joinery to provide our beautiful new kitchen, dresser, utility room, fitted wardrobes in four bedrooms, bath panels & vanity cupboard doors. Dean was fantastic at creating designs to my exact specifications and helping me choose the right colours, details and ironmongery. He was very patient with my ‘additions’ that I requested and has included some beautiful bespoke features in the kitchen, which I had seen in other kitchen showrooms (spice racks, knife block, bin bag drawer, utensil dividers). He invited me to his workshop to see mock ups of the paint finish and ironmongery and allowed me to take them home, which enabled me to choose the worktop. We have sloping ceilings in our bedrooms and so not only are the fitted wardrobes incredibly practical, they show exceptional workmanship. The sprayed paint finishes are beautiful and durable. We are thrilled with all aspects of the work and look forward to using Honeywood again in the future for fitted furniture.

I was recommended to Dean after searching every other option available with in my budget. I felt blessed to have found him. He gave me a kitchen beyond my wildest dreams and friends that had big budgets are still blown away by mine. He won’t mind me saying that his communication in returning messages can be frustrating BUT it’s because he’s busy and needs admin support. Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. There were 6 of us in the block and he completed all the new fire door installations very efficiently, with patience and friendliness. Ryan and Lewis recently fitted my new kitchen. It was very easy to liaise with them and they were responsive to requests throughout, making helpful suggestions and coordinating the other trades as work progressed. I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Sean and his team at SL Carpentry have mastered the art of making life easy- they do exactly what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it and at a competitive price. Sean recently fitted a loft hatch in our home which completely transformed the use ability of our loft (and looks great!) Will be using again!

Tom was first recommended to us by a local kitchen company as one of their best carpenters. He fitted our new kitchen which looked fantastic. Tom then laid a new wooden floor throughout the dining and sitting rooms. Once again all laid with precision. Tom has come back this year to put in a new kitchen worktop and prep, screed, and lay kitchen floor plus fit new skirting boards. Tom is a very personable young man works extremely hard and we will use Tom every time.

If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!
