John did a complete house rewire for me a few years back and more recently has done smaller jobs. Last job was a couple of months ago when he moved a light switch for me. Always honest and reliable, John does a good tidy job for a fair price. Would recommend to anyone.

We needed some sockets and lighting fitted outside and decided to do some research on local electricians. We found John's website simple and easy to get in contact. I initially described the job to John over the phone and he managed to give me a rough quote immediately with a follow up site inspection the very next day. John then attended a week later and completed the installation. I was very impressed with Johns methodical, attention to detail and professional work ethic ensuring the job was completed to the highest standard. It was clear John took pride in his work ensuring wiring etc were neat and discreet. John was also reasonably priced. Would highly recommend for a trusted electrician. Will definitely use John again and recommend to others.

I called John when I had a power failure and he was round an hour later. Located and fixed the fault very quickly. I then asked him to replace some old sockets, light switches and outside P.I.R lights which was all done the next day. Very reliable and I would highly recommend.

Lime Electrical (Greg) installed an airconditioning system for a rental flat. The team were very clean and tidy, responded promptly to queries, and came when they said they would. The work was carried out to a high standard, and advice given was appropriate. The tenants are thrilled with the energy efficiency of the installation especially for the heating, so everyone is very happy. I would use Lime Electrical again.

A delightful independent coffee shop with charm. As well as serving up great coffees, this place had a fantastic selection of Greek sweet and savoury foods, all locally produced and super tasty. One of the best cafe. Such a great service. I been given full info about what sort of cold cafe they do, how they do etc. On the top I have tasted some traditional Greek pastries. Yummy. Truly recommend this place. The service make it most and the café...top. Just to add - popped in 05.11... disappointed

This is the only cafe I go to during the week. It’s not too far from my office but if it was closer, I would be getting coffee in the afternoon too. Staff work so hard here and I really love the food. Traditional pastries, savoury and sweet but also fresh paninis if I don’t fancy a pastry. I put a 4 star for food, not because of quality, but because I think salads would be a nice addition to the menu. No where in Guildford does it so it could be a big win! Wouldn’t even have to be hugely gourmet ones. And maybe smaller pieces of bougatsa as an option too next to large portions like the kataifi but that’s a minor thing. Thank you for all the nice convos while waiting for food and making everyone feel so welcome. If the food wasn’t so good I might’ve had time to take more photos. Also let me use my travel mugs :) Efcharisto!

A lovely, hellenic (Greek) café in the heart of Guildford! Dimitris and Nikos are so friendly, kind and treat you like their friend! I ordered a fresco espresso, which is actually what is called FREDDO ESPRESSO, in Hellas (Greece). Tasteful! They also offered me two pieces of greek bougatsa🇬🇷❤️ In store, you can find many traditional products like "petit four", "bougatsa", cakes, etc, but also ice cream for dogs! 🐕 Totally recommend it! Have fun x

Toby is brilliant. He is very knowledgeable, and did a really neat and thorough job. He upgraded our fusebox, did a full electrical safety inspection and replaced/upgraded any sockets that needed it. Really happy with the work and will be calling him again!

Lovely, local, independent coffee shop. Excellent coffee, made consistently well. The cakes and pastries are tasty too. Staff are efficient and pleasant. Artist's work displayed around the cafe area is interesting to view and changes regularly, plus there's an exhibition space upstairs. Plenty of opportunities to draw yourself if you like, although I'm not artistically skilled myself! Currently our Guildford favourite.

Art & Grind is a genuine asset to Guildford’s High Street. They offer excellent coffee, a variety of teas, cake and more. The recently introduced soup comes with a generous helping of granary toast on the side. The best thing about this gallery/café hybrid is the welcoming staff and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for a morning coffee or a fun painting activity with your family and friends. And they’re offering a platform for emerging local artists to share their work. I’m a huge fan!

What a gem of a place - delicious coffee and bakes (especially the hazelnut pain-au-chocolat), very friendly staff, and fun and relaxing to do some colouring in and doodling while sipping on the coffee. Dog friendly - staff were SO welcoming to our two little doggies, and brought over a surprise puppy-ccino for each of them!! We will be back :)

What a great little find! The entrance is just off Swan Lane, in a small side alley. Tues-Fri there's a superb looking lunch menu for a very competitive price. We went for the a la carte lunch menu and it was delicious. Focaccia was drizzled in olive oil and the accompanying dip was to die for and the burrata was super creamy! I had the pesto lasagna for main which was perfect. Crispy top, creamy inside, good size portion...the tiramisu apparently didn't contain alcohol, I honestly couldn't tell, it was delicious; it was a huge portion too!! (I forgot to take a photo!) All washed down with a lovely bottle of red from Puglia. The food was authentic and the service was really good. We will be returning. Easy 5 stars

A fantastic addition to Guildford’s restaurant scene. The warmest welcome was followed by flawless service. Absolutely delicious food that was clearly freshly made. The focaccia is magical! Extensive wine list too. I hope lots of people notice this hidden gem!

We enjoyed a fabulous feast of Northern Italian / Ligurian cuisine this evening. The last time I dined here was many years ago but I’d seen lots of good reviews online recently so we decided to check it out. Service from Serena and all of the team was charming and we enjoyed the food - starters of antipasti platter and burrata were particularly good. For mains we chose the pesto lasagna and the baked truffle tagliolini, both of which were super rich and decadent. It’s definitely a cosy restaurant and did get a little noisy later into the evening but it was a Saturday evening and to be honest, just added to the atmosphere. I’d highly recommend booking a table though to avoid disappointment as it’s clearly very popular. We’d definitely like to come back again and try some more menu items- the focaccia recco looks incredible so we would definitely order this next time. I can also confirm that the tiramisu is as good as it looks! Thanks to the team for a lovely evening and for reigniting my love for a well poured Aperol Spritz! ❤️

Steven was amazing! Called the number at 5pm on a Friday night, after putting up a shelf myself and causing a power cut! Clearly drilled through a wire just before the weekend... Typical! Within the hour Steven was at the house and had the job finished by 7pm! Lovely gentleman , fast efficient and really careful with both my shelf and wall - really pleased with the service and would highly recommend to any other DIY disasters! Thank you so much!

In all my years engaging with electrical and plumbing engineers - I have never been so impressed. Stephen was an emergency call out, from the moment he spoke to arriving (under 30mnts on a Sunday); got the job done, and delivered an outstanding result. Everything else around the service was 5 star - personality, directness, very polite, and even wore shoe protectors when he walked in the door - he dealt with it like he would deal with his own home. HIGHLY recommend him/them.

Great service and overall experience at the YT Mill Surrey Hills. Our groups demoed 4 bikes. After a delicious coffee we took them out for a long ride straight from the store. The bikes were great, and the team helping us friendly and knowledgeable. The beer at the end refreshing. Would highly recommend giving them a visit if you are in the market for a new bike.

Absolutely loved my visit to the YT Mill over the weekend👌 The staff were super friendly and helpful. Cafe was great and as expected the bike displays were unreal! Sadly I wasn't shopping for a bike on this occasion but did walk away with some YT merch from their selection which was also very well priced. Will definitely be back👊

(June 2022) I took my new YT Decoy in the box over there yesterday. The guys and girls have set it up - all ready for the 1st outing tomorrow. Super friendly environment. 1 very happy customer here. Update (June 2023) 1 week ago I picked my bike up from its 1st annual check up. All the staff at the mill are still enthusiastic and helpful; & I still love my bike. It doesn’t get the hardest use, but has certainly done a fair few miles; roll on summer..

A massive thank you to Adam and the team at YT in Guilford London. Myself and my son were invited to test ride a set of mountain e-bikes. We travelled to and from Scotland in a day so had limited time. The experience and customer service was fantastic, felt like VIPs. Chauffeured in the YT branded van, we spent several hours in the Pealakes hills with Adam leading the way putting the 2024 Decoy 5 Mx through its paces in very challenging conditions following extreme wet weather. We demoed both the medium and the large frames noting we are both 5 foot 8 (172cm) and thus right on the line for size choices. The Decoy Mx is a mullet set up 27.5 at the rear and 29inch front end, it's running shimanos latest EP801 motor and a 720w custom made YT battery. The bike weighed in at around 23KG, felt extremely well balanced. We had a choice motor profile settings and choose to go with the simple eco/ trail/ boost option which was perfect for the quick changes in terrain. We asked alot from the bikes as we pedalled through mud pits between 6-12 inches in depth, large wet and slippy rooted technical decents and climbs along with fast rutty slippy sections, rollers, table tops, gap jumps. The bikes were extremely stable felt really comfortable both in the air and and on the ground. If anyone is unsure of size choice like us and having tried both sizes we both felt the smaller medium sized frame felt punchier, more playful and the right choice of geometry for us personally. This was our first experience on a YT bike ever and we have to say the spec, build quality is amazing. Couple that with absolutely great customer service so far makes our decision an easy one. YT having invested in a facility with direct sales in the UK market is a smart move on their part. For us that made the difference. If you are looking for your next e-bike I can't recommend them enough. Great customer service, high spec components, high build quality, good value for money, deal direct with manufacturer, stunning looking bikes. What more can you ask for. Love this place. It makes YT not feel like a direct sales set up. Everyone is always friendly and nothing is too much bother. I would go as far to say that you are buying into an experience not just buying a bike. If you are thinking of buying a YT bike then get into the mill, test ride (for free) different sizes and models and make a choice based on experience rather than geo charts.

So staying in Guildford for a few days. I wanted to try something different other than McDonald's or your standard chain. I found this after searching Google with great reviews, I knew I was expecting high things. Walking in it's a great atmosphere. I order the breakfast baguette with chips. I didn't have to wait too long and the portion size was great and not to much and not too little. There is an outside area with a roof to cover from rain etc. Also, the inside is nice and very well decorated. There is one toilet and it also has baby changing facilities. Overall, I really recommend and worth having a trip too, maybe a short walk from town but well worth it. If I'm back in Guildford, I'll be back.

A great place to have a treat breakfast on a Sunday morning! We had a veggie breakfast and a mini breakfast. The 'mini' is pretty substantial. Good table service, and a nice busy atmosphere. A repeat visit was even better! Really consistent good service.

We love this place. A hybrid of service (counter, table &/or both) which never disappoints; they’re quietly attentive. The ingredients are expensive, the portions are generous & the prices are very reasonable. Coffee is exceptional. We just love it all.
