I cannot praise the staff at Shortfield Garage highly enough. I was driving a 1943 Jeep from London to Normandy to take part in D-Day Commemorations when I developed a problem. The garage was busy, but the staff recognised my situation and fitted the Jeep in straight away. Within a very short time, they had the Jeep back on its way. We made it to and from the Beaches without any further problems. Thank you so much for your time and expertise. I am very grateful.

I contacted Shortfield having seen they were VW specialists as my Tiguan was having issues with the transmission. They were able to give me an approximate costing pretty quickly, had full understanding of the issue and were able to deal with the warranty company without any issue. We have had all of our cars serviced by Andy and the team at Shortfields for well over 10 years. They have always been fantastic, especially when on a couple of occasions we have run into problems prior to holidays when our cars have been key to whole event. They also recently went above and beyond to help us when both our cars were in desperate need of fixing and we cannot thank them enough for their help. We moved from the village 2 years ago but will continue to travel back for all our car needs due to continually being impressed by their trustworthiness, their knowledge and expertise, timeliness and fair pricing. Service,skill, and above all wonderful personal service with a smile.The owner is a true ‘Old School ‘ mechanic, with wonderful and intuitive solutions to just about every situation. The staff are great, helpful, and well trained . Their skills cover welding, and sort of mechanical solutions, bodywork , the team can cover it all . They work on most cars including the great classics , from pre-war vintage to modern Super cars.

I’m so impressed with the staff at PG Garage. They went out of their way to source and collect a part needed when the passenger door on my old Mini One wouldn’t open from the outside. Sutton Green Garage is a breath of sweet, fresh air compared to the plethora of chain-owned Garages. It is run by Pete, who, no matter how much pressure he might be under, you'd never know it, because he always has time for you. They offer a full range of services, including MOT, Servicing, all Makes & Models and staff permitting, local Collection and Delivery. It's not the very cheapest around but extremely good value, especially in contrast to the many rip-off merchants around. In short, mechanics and garage owner you can trust! A vauable rarity in today's cut-throat world.

The staff were extremely helpful. They went to great lengths to sort out the problem with my car, especially as this required sourcing a difficult to find part (owing to the age of my car). Very honest, reliable and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

I had the best experience with Motormech after a well known company beginning with “H” failed my MOT with explanation of repairs at a very high price and couldn’t fix a blocked windscreen jet. They suggest I went to Motormech to get blockage fixed. Whilst there I showed them the failed MOT. They fixed the blockage in seconds and checked the car. There was no reason for the repairs works. I booked in my second MOT. It passed!!! They did recommend works that needed doing soon. A lovely company especially Mel and I won’t go anywhere else now. Customer service care 💯 and saw how she interacted with each customer. Don’t ever go to “H” garage. Go to Motormech !

This garage saved me! Luggage strap got caught in the boot lock and I was unable to drive long distances without releasing the strap. They got the strap without damaging the strap or the boot. Had a great chat with the ladies in the office whilst the mechanic was hard at work. Highly recommend and their help meant I could drive a special person to where they needed to be! Thanks again

Well worthy of their Best name, not only do they provide the best value MoTs around but very helpful on general servicing matters. Sourced the tyres I wanted on the spot and also sent somebody out for a part needed while I waited. And when this didn't cure the warning light in question, didn't charge for part or fitting. Referred to their partners in Shalford for diagnostics in greater depth.
