Excellent work by James and his team (Max, Chris and Attila). We had a number of custom units designed, built, fitted and painted by James Carpentry and we love them all! The team were punctual, polite, clean and have great attention to detail - they clearly take pride in their work. The quality and finish is excellent. It was a pleasure to have them at our home. We were impressed by how quickly they came round to do measurements, their patience with all our questions and the overall time it took to get everything done. Attaching some photos of their work! We are extremely pleased with the service provided by James' team and we could not be happier with our new fitted wardrobe. From first contact with Anna to installation, communication was extremely professional. They are very knowledgeable and they take the time to address all your concerns and requests, giving you excellent advice about the design and the smallest details. The installation service was carried out smoothly, without much disruption to us and within the agreed timeframe. The quality of the product speaks for itself - a lot of our friends and family have already commented on how beautiful our new wardrobe looks and how functional is the interior. We will definitively use this company again for other bespoke jobs around our flat and we are happy with recommending them to others.

We had an alcove unit made for us and a full length wall fitted wardrobe. The whole team were fab - from the designs, to the door knobs, to how tidy and considerate they were building the units and their attention to detail. Very professional and friendly and excellent quality.

Update October 2021: We liked our custom shelves/cabinets so much that we had James Carpentry return to install fitted wardrobes in the bedroom (blue wardrobes pictured below). Once again, they did an amazing job and it looks brilliant. Installation and painting was once again done very professionally and in a clean and timely manner. July 2021: We recently bought a flat which didn't have much storage space in it, but had two large alcoves in the living room. After a search of local carpenters, I came across James Carpentry. It is an amazing business and they were so professional from start to finish. Very prompt to answer the initial enquiry and to take measurements/send the designs. During installation and painting, they were very careful to ensure no mess was created/left behind and did a beautiful job. We originally wanted to have completely symmetrical shelves but on installation day they showed us a few options and we ended up liking the asymmetrical style more - which they accommodated! We are so pleased with the final result and will definitely be using James Carpentry again - already put in an enquiry about bedroom storage!

Jason was able to take my vision and create a beautiful set of shelves and cupboards for the cosy nook in our kitchen. We were provided with a 5* service throughout. Jason was quick to respond to messages and completed the work to an excellent standard, we would definitely recommend.

Jason has just finished fitting our kitchen for us and has done an amazing job - he is clearly a perfectionist as the fit is flawless. His communication from the point of booking has been great, and on the two days of fitting he helped to problem solve a couple of issues with the kitchen design. We asked Jason for a quote to replace our kitchen worktops and install a new sink. He replied very quickly and started 5 days later. He did an excellent job, took everything away and tidied up afterwards. The worktops were very dark and now we have a lovely bright kitchen. We highly recommend Jason.

Door frames repaired & restored by JP, he has done an amazing job. I found JP very honest, professional and reasonably priced as quotes from others advised a whole new door frame, whereas JP was extremely honest and advised that he can easily repair & restore the wooden door frames without the need of whole new door frames. I am extremely pleased with the work JP has done and I saved money at the same time. I will definitely use JP again as I am so pleased with his work.

Jp made and fitted an Alleyway gate with lock and latches aswell as painted. He's done an amazing job friendly great comms. Nothing too much. Also done another job which I will post separately which has been just as good if not better.

JP is a pleasant, honest and reliable tradesman. He was very punctual and arrived our property at the time he said he would. He was very patient and accommodating and did an excellent job in and around the house, he carried out some alterations in my kitchen and fitted new locks and handles to 7 doors. His quote was also competitive. He also had a wealth of advice to offer regarding the possible ways to fix one of my kitchen unit that was proving difficult to fix. We would recommend him highly.

If I were to describe Tom’s approach to my home renovations I would describe him as inclusive, having great communication skills, proactive, (particularly important when as is often the case, a couple of unpredicted issues arose), approachable & open to discussing options when needed & incredibly professional. The standard of work was high & the finish is faultless. My kitchen was not entirely standard off the shelf construction, but was finished beautifully. I would have no hesitation asking Tom to carry out work on my home in the future or recommending him to others. It can be a daunting prospect embarking on a build but I was confident with the choice I made & had no misgivings at any stage. Tom is a gem!!

We would highly recommend Tom and his team who did an amazing job on our kitchen project, which included ripping out our old kitchen, laying new flooring through the whole of the downstairs and converting the cupboard under the stairs into a dog house. Tom remained true to his quote and was very reliable and trustworthy. He kept us updated regularly and realistically worked with us on our vision. We have future projects and Tom will be our first port of call.

Tom was first recommended to us by a local kitchen company as one of their best carpenters. He fitted our new kitchen which looked fantastic. Tom then laid a new wooden floor throughout the dining and sitting rooms. Once again all laid with precision. Tom has come back this year to put in a new kitchen worktop and prep, screed, and lay kitchen floor plus fit new skirting boards. Tom is a very personable young man works extremely hard and we will use Tom every time.

Tom and his guys were superb for us. Great communication and always on top of things. Real professionals but also very personable. We are so pleased with everything Tom has done in our home. Tom has now led the refurbishment of our kitchen, diner, hallway, utility, downstairs shower room, main bedroom, en-suite and family bathroom. There’s never any nonsense and we enjoy having him around. We tried someone else when Tom wasn’t available and got badly burned. We can’t wait to work with him on our next round! Ryan was recommended to us, and he certainly lived up to that recommendation. I found Orchard Carpentry via Trust a Trader website. Ryan communicates extremely well and has over delivered on the quality of the projects I asked for. Ryan provides a thoughtful and detailed service, considering all issues and resolving. He produced custom made shelving for two rooms and his attention to detail is second to none. My wife and I are very happy indeed. The price was very fair too, not cheap but not expensive. We will be using Ryan for our kitchen refit, within the next few months, as well as any other carpentry requirements. I wholeheartedly recommend Orchard Carpentry.

I asked Ryan to install a shed, what he did was above and beyond the call of duty, he removed two tons of soil and a load of other trash. Installed a perfect shed on an imperfect base, negotiated wonderfully with a tenant and project managed a waste collection job. Honestly I should have paid him more. He’s brilliant.

Ryan and Lewis did a fantastic job installing two new interior doors, adjusting four others, and adjusting, draughtproofing and installing a new lock on the front door. Ryan has a great reputation and is in high-demand, so lead times before work starts can be long. However, once the team starts work they are tidy and efficient and the work is high quality. We had one follow-up issue with the front door being too tight, and Ryan returned to fix the problem within two days of contact. Overall fantastic service and highly recommend.

I have casually been helping Elliot with a few jobs since January, and one thing I have noticed from working with him, he has a great eye for detail. WSM joinery, came to me via a recommendation. Will has provided a professional, reliable service. We had a new staircase fitted. They were punctual, tidy and kept me informed throughout. The work carried out has been exceptionally executed and finished.

Will and John did an absolutely first class job. The task was to fit panelling in the dining room. They measured up and set out to the nearest millimetre and the result it absolutely fantastic. We would definitely recommend and will be using WSM Joinery for future work. Just have to get a couple of sockets moved up and paint, which once done will look beautiful.

We contracted Harry to build a new roof and install new floors for an extension we were having built on our house and I have nothing but good to say about him and his company. The work was simply exceptional, outstanding quality and nothing was a problem. If ever plans had to be tweaked Harry simply worked with the change and made proactive suggestions as to how to make things better. He was respectful and considerate, cleaning up at the end of every day and ensuring my house was secure if he left before I returned in an evening.
