We recently needed our locks changed at our new house and reached out to Darren at Sherlock Locksmiths. Darren was fantastic - he was able to accommodate us on very short notice, which we greatly appreciated. He arrived promptly, was incredibly quick, and got everything sorted in no time. His friendly and professional demeanor made the experience stress-free, and we felt very confident in his expertise. Darren arrived on time and was very positive and professional in his work. When he found an issue that could have meant a return visit with another charge, he problem solved and found another solution instead. Darren was contactable prior to his visit, was clean and tidy during and explained what he was doing and why. We had a positive experience.

Came to repair the lock on the front door and was extremely helpful. Initially came out on the same day, needed to order some parts and got the work done really quickly on the return visit and at a very fair price. Would recommend.

Fantastic service! Darren really went out of his way to help us. Our back door mechanism broke and we found that because it was put together during Covid the parts couldn’t be got hold of anymore. Long story short, after speaking with multiple different sources, Darren managed to get us a like for like replacement and brought it straight over and got it done! Even though this was a frustrating experience for everyone, he remained kind and helpful throughout and didn’t charge us any extra even though he had to come out three times - would recommend!

We wanted a locksmith from the local area, preferring someone running their own business and found Lock-Solutions. I phoned lock solutions to fix the broken lock on our back patio doors. They were able to come really quickly to our house in Woodley to look at it. He didn't have the exact lock in his van but had a temporary fix at no extra cost, whilst the new lock came in. This was much appreciated as it meant we could leave the house safely! Dave arrived very promptly- within 20 minutes. He had all the best tools with him and I was in the house within 5 mins. Very professional service. No damage to existing locks and no need to change the deadlock system. Very impressed and grateful im house sitting for a mate so was up shit creek when I locked myself out.

Excellent service! I had my car key stolen along with my bag and called Dom to ask if he’d be able to make me a new key so I could get in my car and drive it home from the train station. He had sorted it the next morning. Really nice guy and I’m really grateful.

Simon really saved us today. We had been calling around for locksmiths late Saturday night and got quite a few offers that we thought were very sketchy. Simon was not only the most trustworthy, but also had the best price. He came within 15 min and had the door open in literally 15 seconds, if that. Highly recommended.

I moved house on Friday and Simon was on call to come and change my locks as soon as I had arrived. He was there shortly after I phoned him and did a brilliant job. He noticed a couple of things that needed fixing. He ordered the parts and came back within days and sorted them out. As a widow on my own security is very important and Simon has left me feeling very safe and secure. I would definitely recommend him .

James recently completed the locks of our new house (June 2024). He was great to deal with both in terms communication, advice and quotes/pricing - James also offered to do a drive-by of the house we we're due to complete on to provide a more accurate quotation. Excellent service. James was kind enough to respond to my email on Boxing Day. As the issue was not as urgent as I initially feared (I got the door shut!), James came and fixed my dodgy lock a couple of days later.
