We contacted John about problems with our malfunctioning front door lock in June just before we went away on holiday. He responded very promptly to fix the problem. He saw that the door was not opening and shutting properly, he adjusted the hinges and tightened the screws to ensure that the door opened and closed freely. He further advised that we install handles. He sent us links to several suppliers of door handles to choose from and came back to install them free of charge. Brilliant service provided by this company. Our front door handle completely broke leaving our property unsecured. Called this company due to the great reviews and John fitted us in at such short notice. Found About-turn locks on google after having issues with my patio uPVC door lock. Called John, he then FaceTimed to get eyes on the issue and was at my house with in 15minutes. Clearly an experienced tradesman and was super efficient. Fixed, tweaked and fine tuned my patio doors. Clean, tidy and well priced. Highly rate and would recommend.

We called Locktech after being locked out late at night. Jason quoted a price on the phone and arrived within 20 minutes. He managed to carry out a non-destructive entry on two front doors which was much appreciated. He stayed an extra 30 minutes trying to improve the safety of the door and gave advice, without increasing the quoted price. Very professional, honest and quick. We would recommend immediately.

What a brilliant shop. Went in with a 1980s Chubb 5 lever deadlock with a badly cut key that jammed rather than unlocking and came away with a rekeyed fully functioning lock with three new keys within about 20 minutes. Definitely recommend if you have a lock problem.

Absolutely fantastic service! The owner went above and beyond, spending a lot of time researching to find the right key code (not sure of the technical term here!), for a very old and quite problematic key, so a challenge, but I now have a new copy and it works perfectly. Previously, I had already tried for 4 months to get this sorted with other key cutters with no luck, so I was very lucky to find this shop. If you need a locksmith, these are definitely the guys to call. A door in my home was stuck shut and it wouldn't budge no matter what I tried. I was nervous about calling anybody out to help, after being ripped off in the past. However, there was nothing to worry about with Luke and Arthur, who were professional and efficient at their job. Luke was my first contact, and he was very friendly and helpful. He explained that he was not in the area, but his colleague was, and may be able to come and help. Arthur then rang me and arranged to come by (on his day off). He arrived quickly, and he managed to get the door open, for a very reasonable price. Arthur was a lovely, friendly guy who was efficient at his job, and took his time to talk to me afterwards. If I ever needed a locksmith in the future (touchwood I won't), then I would not hesitate to call top lock technicians! They provide an amazing service and they are honest and reliable. They are not out to take advantage or rip people off like other locksmiths that I have encountered previously. Thank you guys.

I can absolutely see why there's the 5 star rating. We had a door which suddenly stopped locking (to be fair it had been stiff for some time). They were thorough covering multiple steps to resolve problems and absolutely went above and beyond. Issue resolved and the door feels way better than when it was installed. Very highly recommended.
