Can’t fault it ! The secret recipe batter is some of the best I’ve ever tasted!! Nicely portioned & presented. Only problem is that they weren’t grumpy 😠 Will be returning 👍👍👍

Really glad we chose to stop here when looking for a chippy in the area - trust the many great reviews, glad we did! Delicious food, really reasonable prices, very generous portions and lovely staff, thoroughly recommend, will definitely go here again next time we're in the area. Might even say it's the best fish and chips I've had!

Award winning Baobros23 serve their Asian inspired street food from their first floor kitchen at The Bingley. Awesome choice of delicious and reasonably priced food, including vegetarian and vegan options. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait to return 🤤

Amazing taste, had a minor issue with the buzzer out of the teams control and they went above and beyond to resolve with additional food. All tasted great and the lads are sound! Ace to have this in the local area!
Rating: 5 / 5
Small town centre eatery with big bold flavours but sensible prices. Love the food and the staff are very welcoming and helpful with their suggestions. Been a couple of times and will be back again and again.

“Lovely gem on my doorstep, top quality food, great friendly staff”

We thought we would try this cafe again as we had not been here in a while. We were greeted by a friendly and polite member of staff and shown promptly to a table. The selection of food is quite wide and a great selection of pasties and cakes. You order at the till but you have to set your own table as cutlery isn't provided by the staff. The cafe is very well spaced out and you can feel quite comfortable and relaxed They also have comfortable sofa type chairs to sit on. I would say probably best to book these if possible. I ordered the 8oz bacon joint and we also had risotto. The latte I had was really good My food was very well cooked and served hot. It was really tasty 😋 My partner said the risotto was served hot and was very good. Overall it was a great experience and definitely will be going back. Price wise this cafe is at the top of the price scale so best to be aware before hand. The quality is definitely worth paying for. ❤️❤️😋😋 Well deserved 5 stars from me

My fiance works here and took me here for my birthday. Visited England for a week. First time having an Afternoon Tea and it was amazing. The staff wanted to meet me while I visited. They was all lovely. The best thing I ate was the salmon sandwich that was part of the Afternoon tea. Probably the best thing I ever had. Their cream cheese and chives pulled it off greatly. The other sandwiches was amazing and the soup was great. I loved trying scones with cream and jam for the first time. The food is great. I think the tea cups and plates are adorable. I had a great time! Thank you! I also love the natural lighting and atmosphere of the place. Thank you so much!

Beautiful yet casual dining experience! We ordered 3 specials; 2 open steak sandwiches and 1 beetroot risotto. Cooked/seasoned/garnished perfectly. Lovely cafe with an abundance of natural light, accompanied by tentative staff and airy space. £50 for 3 meals, 3 drinks and an additional side. Highly recommend. Gluten free options available also*

Excellent breakfast, freshly cooked with quality ingredients. Friendly and efficient service. Reasonable prices, but a very basic ambience, similar to a works canteen! It was cold, both in temperature and decor. Plenty of parking.
Rating: 5 / 5
Best garden centre in the area ! The plants are so well cared for and the range and prices are fantastic. Garden centre staff and cafe staff are so helpful and friendly. Food in the cafe is excellent.
Rating: 5 / 5
For a fairly small Garden Centre it holds a lot of stock in very tidy surroundings. There's nothing cheap here but the quality is generally very good. A very popular cafe/restaurant on site. Main advice - watch your speed on approach!! A very sneaky speed limit camera outside.

This gorgeous, unique place is absolutely unreal. We have spent many a day since they opened enjoying all aspects of hidden’s menu and drinks! They continue to surprise us with culinary excellence and not-to-be-missed cocktail specials, not to mention their delicious wine and beer list! The customer service is second to none, they are so passionate about getting everything perfect, which of course they always do, and they create a personal service each time. I can’t fault them!

Loved our breakfast here, food was delicious and presented so well! service and atmosphere were lovely. We did recommend to friends straight away! Our only negative was that we asked for a slice of toast for our 2 year old daughter and were charged £5 for a slide of sourdough type bread that hadn't been buttered so by the time it came to use was rock solid and our 2 year old couldn't eat it. Would visit again though x

Hidden is a dream come true for an informal social, date night, and even for impressing clients if you need something that feels fresh and fancy. Food, drinks and atmosphere are second to none. Plenty of variety and an ever changing menu; I can’t put my finger on a favourite because it’s all so good! They’ve even incorporated gluten free food and lager which for me is a dream come true. Rach and team never miss a beat and make you feel a part of their community the second you walk through the door. The outdoor space is also good, with heaters and plenty of seats. Accommodating, cosy, and everything you want in a day time cafe or evening cocktail bar.

Love everything about this pub. The kitchen staff are so knowledgeable and accommodating to my intolerances while maintaining a beautiful standard, and the girls behind the bar are efficient and welcoming. They’re friendly from the moment you walk in and keep the atmosphere high; the atmosphere of the bar is testament to the girls that work there.
Rating: 5 / 5
Fabulous spot between the river and the canal. A very warm welcome from the girls serving and a great choice of beers on tap. Food was absolutely fabulous too - we had vegetarian dogs and bao buns and loaded fries - it was all delicious. We’ll definitely be back - hopefully next time the sun will shine so we can take advantage of the beautiful, extensive outdoor seating.
Rating: 4 / 5
Situated nicely between the river and the canal, there is outdoor seating alongside the canal, and indoor seating with a viee over the river. The food was delicious, and the staff are pleasant and friendly. However, sitting by myself, when I went to get a second drink, two seperate members of staff tried to clear my half eaten meal away.
Rating: 5 / 5
Great and lively place for everything from a quick bite to eat or an afternoon of drinking! Lovely location overlooking the canal. Does get quite busy at times and the wait at the bar can reflect that but staff do there best. Bao Bros is 10/10 every time so can’t recommend enough.

“A small family run cafe. Amazing food Coffee Outdoor seating Take away coffee”
Rating: 5 / 5
Exceptional service straight off the bat. Very accommodating for dogs. Staff were amazing and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hot chocolate is the best I've had in ages. The food was delicious and definitely homemade. There was a slight mix-up with my order, but this was rectified. I had the omelette with chips, and Partner had beef burger with fries. Portion sizes were incredible, amazing value for money (see photos). Definitely recommend and will most certainly visit again! Thank you to the wonderful staff.

Fab little cafe in a nice area. Large portions at a good price.

Brilliant affordable food. Friendly staff.
Rating: 5 / 5
The best cafe in Wakefield with a good selection of high quality home made food at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff are very friendly. It is a family run business and the staff and owners make you feel one of the family too. (No you don’t have to do the washing up). Specials for Senior citizens too are very tasty and so filling you may need a doggy bag. The only downside is that you may have to wait for a few minutes for a table because it’s so popular but it is well worth the wait.
