Highly recommended. The coffee is light and fruity, and all the cakes are homemade. The service is great. And they support local artists. You can’t ask for much more from your local coffee shop.

My favourite coffee shop- it's never so busy that you can't get a seat, but always has enough people in to make a cosy atmosphere. The coffee is to die for and the cakes are genuinely the stuff of legend. The staff are so bubbly and chatty and always seem happy to see you, cannot recommend this place strongly enough!

Little gem Whilst this place does not sell food (sandwiches etc) the savoury scones and cake selection were brilliant. The team were engaging, shared information on the ingredients within their chai latte as it tasted great. Lovely little place to grab a coffee and chat with the staff. It's dog friendly and across from the park, so a brilliant location for a post walk cuppa

Freshly prepared lovely food. Took my mum for afternoon tea, there was plenty of choice, all lovely. What we couldn't eat we had boxed up to bring home. Lovely little tea room, friendly staff. Highly recommend 👌

A massive shout out for Rich and his team for the DELICIOUS homemade steak pie and peas that he brought to my 70th celebration. Everyone who came heaped praise on the quality of the food, it was superb. The service was excellent and efficient too, I really can’t fault anything received from this wonderful little set up.

Lovely local cafe - no nonsense retro food (as advertised!) Great for breakfasts and if you're lucky enough to go when they've got meat pie & chips on the lunchtime menu you won't be disappointed! Really friendly couple who run it, nothing is too much trouble.

I’ve been a regular at Ella’s for a few years now. The food & coffee are excellent, it had a cosy relaxed atmosphere, where importantly the music isn’t too loud ( sounds trivial, but it’s nice to be able to hear your own thoughts!) Ella’s, is a little gem, but don’t tell everyone! Otherwise, I’ll never get a window seat! 🧐

Needed a forklift to yank me out of the chair after eating a Jumbo breakfast. Portions are not for the weak! Food is delicious, staff lovely, and excellent prices. Highly recommend the special chicken burger, but again be warned....its huge! My favourite place for a proper good feed.

Called one Saturday morning "pre shopping". It was nice and quiet as it was early on. Food arrived pretty quickly and was plentiful. It was nice and tasty with plenty on the plate. Only criticism, the door was open so it quickly cooled the food and the drinks. Sausages could have done with a little more colour too, they were very pale. When we visited, they did not take card pay so ensure you have cash with you.

This is my first time ordering from this place, and I am not disappointed. I ordered the large breakfast, and it was amazing! I was also given a complimentary chocolate wagon wheel, which was a delightful surprise. Everything was also individually wrapped in foil, which kept everything warm. I highly recommend this place.

Stopped for a coffee and a full breakfast, all cooked fresh, really tasty and a bargain price, loads of other things on the menu. Nice little cafe, bright and clean inside. Lots of homemade food on offer, friendly bloke who owns the place. Go and give him some business, you won't regret it.

Absolutely beautiful. My and my partner have just had sausage spam and egg butty and I can tell you it's one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. Definitely beats any other cafe in Ossett.

Great independent coffee place in the heart of Ossett town. The hot chocolate was chocolatey (I know it sounds daft but unfortunately not many places get it right!), delicious and was just the right amount of sweet. They have a large selection of cakes as well if required.

I visited the cafe for the first time today, with a friend, and we where very happy with our service they gave us. They where keen to get us a table quickly, and made sure it was clean for us, before we ordered. The prices where decent too, and the quality of the food was tasty too. We enjoyed it that much, we have talked about going back next month. They seemed to have regulars in too, who where also happy with the service, and the food. I hope the staff see this review. :)
