Top recommendation from a friend. Visited for the first time today while waiting for someone at a hospital appointment. There is a lovely bubbly atmosphere, everywhere is clean and tidy and the food is absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. I love the ethos behind this place and the opportunity that it provides as a second chance for disadvantaged women. What’s not to like? If you haven’t visited - do, and if you have already I know you’ll be back because it’s too good not to and there are so many cakes still to try 😉!

An exceptional little cafe, a bit off the beaten track. Excellent chair latte and tuna melt sandwich. Really lovely staff. And it's a social enterprise that helps women get into work. What more could you want?

Great café - initially a bit difficult find but got there in the end - it's in old mill buildings and run as a social enterprise. Staff are very friendly and helpful, even offering extras like tap water. The food is good and pretty reasonable price wise. The building is worth a look, original exposed brickwork etc. The cafe is obviously well regarded, it was very busy with customers both takeaway and eating in. Highly recommended. Near to Mabgate, a street worthy of a visit anyway.

Staff are absolutely lovely and are always up for a chat. Always greeted with smiling faces and food is delicious and good prices too.

First time visiting this morning on the 9th of March 2022. Ordered a sausage and spam sarnie with brown sauce and a coffee wi' one sugar milk. Bloody banging, and just what I needed after a long night. Lovely staff, flat top grill (perfect), will be going again. If you're in LS9 pop in an' have yoursen' a right good sarnie. Will be visiting again.

Lovely staff, great breakfasts and the atmosphere is nice. Would definitely recommend EDIT** NO LONGER COME AS WE HAVE BEEN TURNED AWAY AN HOUR BEFORE CLOSURE TO EAT IN TOO MANY TIMES (WAS ELDERLY LADIES)

I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today. The atmosphere is very relaxed with comfortable seating, lovely hypnotic music playing and very friendly and attentive staff. The omelette I had was very tasty and came with homemade ciabatta bread- delicious! My daughter's pizza was similar to one that might be served in an Italian restaurant! Restaurant quality food in a local café! ☀️

I was recommended to this restaurant by a friend. I was not at all disappointed. The Ethiopian cuisine served here is authentic, delicious and of good portions. The place is neat, and customer services is great. Will recommend to anyone who is keen to experience this exotic Eastern African food at it's best.

Fantastic food and great hospitality, humour, explanations of Ethiopian food and culture. Family Cafe / Ashre restaurant is a hidden gem. The Chapel FM Arts Centre staff had a marvellous Christmas party here!

We love livetts! The coconut matcha latte is a firm favourite with a tasty dark chocolate and sea salt cookie and my little one loves the giant cinnamon bun!

Great guy. Gave brilliant advice on coffee offered. The in-house coffee blend is very tasty and worth a try. The cinnamon roll was amazing. Let’s hope there around for years to come.

I'm not gonna lie... The Ethiopian Organic Coffee Cafe in Leeds has the best coffee I've ever had and the family that run it are awesome.

Nice little coffee shop being a barista myself I had to try it, mild acidic blend if you're into coffee and love a single origin you will appreciate this coffee also had the small breakfast which was cooked well will definitely be back thank you

I went with my husband for breakfast. It was great. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff and manager were very friendly. We will be back again.

Stopped here for a quick bite before heading to visit relatives. It was a busy place with lots eating in and quite a few takeaways. They do a wide range of food from full English to sandwiches and pasta. The food was good and plenty of it. The service was friendly and efficient with a team that seems to work well together. Will definitely call here again even just for a drink.

You just know if workers frequent a place it's going to be good food and great value and it was. Lovely staff and the breakfast was one of the best, perfectly cooked, hot tasty and lots of it.

Been in Leeds for two years, looking for a good breakfast place. It took a while, but I finally found this place. The food and service are excellent. I'll definitely go back there.

First time ordering, really big portion sizes and fresh, hot food delivered. Even substituted out some unwanted items off the large breakfast selection for an additional egg/sausage instead! Highly recommend, will be ordering again.

finally decided to pop in after a little while living in the area, bacon and sausage sandwich for me and a B.E.S.T for my partner, probably the best sandwiches we have had in quite a while, will defiantly be back in the very near future

A community run project. There is a cafe on one side and then rooms for commu ity classes on the other plus a large room for hire on the top floor. If you are in the are you should call in as they are an inspiration. The food is great and the rooms are great.
