Lovely little Eritrean restaurant. The food is to die for and freshly made. We also had the traditional coffee and it was really good with the beans roasted fresh too.

It was our first time trying Nigerian food and everything was perfect. None of us knew the name of the dishes(still don’t know) but the staff recommended some and we loved them all. One of them was really spicy so I’d say to ask about the spice level if you have a low tolerance. In relation to the atmosphere, everyone was nice and friendly 🤗 we even got some recommendations from other customers and laughed with them in the process. And finally the most important, the service was 100 stars they provided the most accommodating service there could be, they were nice to us, the food was coming warm and nice and they made sure to warn us about each dish preparation time so that we would know if we wanted to wait or not. Anyways, I really recommend 🥰♥️

The Abula was really on point

Stunning food, you could really tell all the salad was fresh, beef burgers were cooked to perfection and presentation was spot on. Definitely not your standard takeaway and would recommend 1000% Will be our new go to takeaway, credit to the lads working there too!

Came all the way from Manchester to try this place out and I must say, it did not disappoint! I got the box meal for £9.99 which is a bargain by the way. The tenders were crispy yet juicy and the fries were well seasoned to the very last one! But the burger was the real showstopper, the chicken was cooked to perfection the bbq sauce was just the right amount and the onion rings with the melted cheese over the top was perfection in food form. I love my takeaways but this one takes the cake for me if you’re in the area it’s a must try for sure! Their selection has everything you are looking for! 10/10

Came from Manchester to see family in leeds came across this place the sign caught my eyes so I had to try it out I ordered the wacky box and it was amazing chicken was lovely the lamb chops was so tender and the rice was cooked to perfection highly recommended the lads there were so professional and generous with there portions all I got to say is try it out for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Smash Burgers! This place i can’t say enough good things! The smash burgers are nothing short of amazing crisped perfectly on the edges, juicy within, flavorful as hell. The toppings are fresh, the buns are soft but sturdy, and the sauces are enough to elevate everything.The fries, crispy, golden and well-seasoned, are equally amazing. And don’t even get me started on the milkshakes the ideal sweet treat to have after a burger. In addition to phenomenal food, service is quick and friendly. You will not regret it, whether you’re eating in or picking up something to go. By all means, this is my new favorite burger place. Highly recommend!

Food: The menu offers a diverse range of Congolese dishes, and everything we tried was beautifully presented and delicious. If you want delicious, authentic Congolese food this is the spot. This was my 2nd time coming here and it did not disappoint. The ntaba and fumbwa was amazing, just like home. The service was exceptional, as we were given complimentary beignets with our big order. I will definitely be coming back here regularly!

Last week, my family and I traveled to Leeds for a business meeting, and we decided to explore the city afterward. As it was my first time in Leeds, we were on the lookout for a desi restaurant, and that's when we came across Mr. Shapatar. The name immediately caught our attention, as it's a popular slang word from the streets of Karachi, where we are from. Curious about the connection, we decided to give it a try. To our delight, it was their opening day, and they were offering a 50% discount. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the ambiance was perfect. We were thrilled to find Karachi’s authentic Aloo Biryani on the menu, which reminded me of the famous Burns Road Biryani. The Nihari was also spot on, just like the traditional Karachi Nihari. We ordered Biryani, Nihari, and Haleem, although there were many other options, we couldn't resist the authentic Karachi dishes. The freshly made naan served alongside the dishes added to the experience. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. Nabeil, a very down-to-earth person and a chartered accountant by profession. It was wonderful to chat with him and learn about his vision for the restaurant. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I highly recommend Mr. Shapatar to anyone visiting Leeds. If you're craving authentic Karachi food, this place is a must-try!

Ordered bun kabab, masala chips, karachi biryani, chana chaat, lemonade and karak chai.. everything was on point! Bun kabab was out of this world 10/10!! Will surely be coming back to try new dishes! Chicken Wings (Sweet and Spicy) Sindhi Biryani Mutton Nihari Haleem Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, accompanied by the tantalising aroma of authentic spices wafting through the air. The ambience instantly transported us to the bustling streets of Pakistan, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. For starters, we indulged in the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings. Cooked to absolute perfection, they were beautifully tender and practically melted in the mouth. The balance of sweetness and spice was spot on, leaving us wanting more. Next came the Sindhi Biryani, one of the restaurant's signature dishes. The flavour profile was nothing short of incredible – rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced. Each mouthful was a burst of authentic taste, so much so that it felt as though we were dining in Karachi rather than Leeds. Following that, we sampled the Haleem, which was nothing short of spectacular. The texture was smooth and hearty, and the flavours were robust and deeply satisfying. It’s easily one of the best versions of Haleem I’ve ever had outside of Pakistan – a true delight for the taste buds. Finally, we were served the Mutton Nihari. The meat was tender beyond words, practically disintegrating with each bite, while the luscious gravy was a symphony of spices that filled the mouth with warmth and flavour. It instantly transported me back to my last visit to Karachi, evoking fond memories of traditional dining experiences there. Each dish exceeded expectations, and the authenticity of the flavours was a testament to the skill and dedication of the chefs. A must-visit for anyone craving a genuine taste of Pakistan!

I was so happy to find a Romanian restaurant next to the hospital I attended. A bit disappointed as ciorba da burta wasn't available, but I know they only opened recently so it's understandable. White beans soup and mici (Romanian koftas) were perfectly serviceable. It was a really authentic experience and I couldn't have wished for a better lunch given circumstances. I wish ketchup wasn't the cheapest one on the market but perhaps that's the traditional way 😅

Friendly service and giant portions. We were looking for a nice, quiet brunch with good food, and that's exactly what we got. Husband and I both got the Turkish breakfast with lattes, and were incredibly full by the end. (Kept us full to dinner!) We will definitely be back!

Great Polish butchers with a selection of other Polish products. Everything is a good price and great quality. Can't fault the sausages or the boczek (bacon)
