What an amazing place. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was delicious, well presented and came in very generous portions.The roast beef I had was lovely and tender. Good choice of drinks, next time I might try a cocktail as they sound great. I can tell they really care about cleanliness too.

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

We have visited this restaurant more than any other since they opened in 2019 and the standards have always been high (in fact I think they get better!). The food is modern British cuisine using locally sourced seasonal ingredients and the flavours on offer are bold and delicious. The Sunday Lunch menu is a real highlight with 3 courses for £30 featuring a selection of Roast Dinners that are hard to beat. The Brunch menu is really varied with your traditional Full English, Eggs Benedicts, Avo on Toast as well as some new additions like Savoury Crepes and Pancake Stacks for the sweet tooths- you can also go bottomless with some refreshing Mimosas and Bellinis. The standard A La Carte has some fantastic options too- a decent list of small plates if you fancy tapas style as well as some gorgeous main course dishes to suit every palate. The signature Steak and Ale Pie is not to be missed and has been consistently good since day one! As we approach summer do not skip their stunning secret garden which on a sunny day makes you forget you are in Huddersfield- our favourite place to relax with great food and drinks. Talking of drinks, the wine list is extensive and they have picked some truly fabulous wines to pair with the food. There is also a cocktail list as well as local beers. Steve and Helen do an amazing job at running the best restaurant in Huddersfield- we highly recommend a visit but be warned you will keep going back for more

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

Visited this place after hearing about it from a few friends. Absolutely loved it. The lemon & herb wings were truly divine! I also enjoyed the fiery smash burger! The milkshake to top off a wonderful was amazing. I'd highly recommend getting the milkshake. Staff were friendly and explained the menu and recommended items which is good to see, once food was served they came to ask if everything was OK. Well done! ❤️

We visited ladz today with family after hearing about it from friends and i must say from the staff to food, everything was absolutely brilliant, staff was very helpful in recommending foods and the service was very quick and the food was presented immaculately... they scored 10/10 on food freshness, quality and the taste.. i am a fussy person when it comes to food and i couldn't fault one single thing... if i must mention that i wouldn't be going to any other peri chicken place after eating lads... photos attached.

This is my go to place almost every week. The food is served fresh and hot, the staff is very kind. My Favorite meal is the loaded box 1. Enough for one, economical, student discount is also available. Convenient location right next to Train station. Must try cheers .

The most delicious breakfast I have ever had . Literally a party in my mouth .✨

Friendly service. Clean environment. Wasn't sure what to get so the owner showed me all the dishes. Opted for the Turkish breakfast, in the afternoon. This consisted of cheeses, olives, fig jam, hummus, shakshouka type dish, and honey cream/butter, bread, egg, Turkish tea. We shared this between 2 and had kunafa dessert for afters. All in all it was good experience and will be returning to try one of the stews.

Always fresh Always delicious If you haven't been here you're missing out! All the food is homemade, even the condiments! and they taste amazing. Love the homemade Turkish nan especially with their homemade honey butter. Nice calm atmosphere and lovely service.

It was my First time here after i hear ld a lot about this place, i decided to finally pay them a visit not as a business owner but as a customer We ordered two turkeys breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, it gives you a real Turkish experience, i had it before in Turkey and it looks exactly same. We offer a Kurdish mix breakfast which is a bit different so i liked it and the good thing that the staff informed us that we can refill the tea as much as we want and also they offered us a free bread with it after we finished our bread, The honey butter,flower jam was the best i have ever had. Always an amazing experience to dine in/ takeout at Harvey’s. Food is consistently amazing quality and fresh. The restaurant itself is nice to dine in both inside and out and is very clean. Will always choose to come back, my favourite place to dine in Huddersfield. Only slight negative would be that parking is limited making it harder for assess especially if you are blue badge owner.

Arranged to meet a work colleague , I stay in the Las Vegas of the North , Blackpool and she travelled up from Digby. I’d looked on line for somewhere half way and found this little gem . The reviews prior to our visit were really good and looking at the menu we decided to get it booked and meet up. No dramas booking on line. Arrived in plenty of time and the staff got us menus with lunch specials and the mains and drinks whilst we looked through the menus . It took us an age to decide as there was that much choice and people were ordering around us and we were getting food envy , everyone the staff bought something else out from the kitchen. We eventually went for dough balls and chicken Goujons starters. We shared as they were to good to keep to ourselves . For the mains we both had the hanging chicken kebabs, one chilli and one garlic . You could select what fries you wanted with it and came with pitta and sauces. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better , we checked out the desserts and even tho there was plenty of selection , we both went for biscof cheescake , which I can only say was , life changing . I recently had lunch at Harvey's Bar & Restaurant and it was fantastic. The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside, enjoying the pleasant atmosphere. The staff were attentive and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The food was delicious with plenty of options, and the drink selection was impressive. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

We went for our date night here. From start to finish, everything was spot on – the food, the service, and the overall experience. The atmosphere really does feel as cosy as the name, and the staff were so warm and welcoming. Our server was fantastic, always making sure we were happy with everything. From starters to mains and drinks, it was all perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic experience! We celebrated a special occasion here, and everything was perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, with great options for everyone, including gluten-free dishes. Highly recommend Cosy Kitchen for both the food and the amazing service!

We have come over for an evening meal after having take outs before from Cosy kitchen and the food only got better! We have decided to go with Polo Stroganoff and Polo Funghetto with Sautéed potatoes, and both meals were amazing albeit the Polo Funghetto tasted slightly better for us. We have also tried the cheesecake and it was really tasty and looked amazing too but there was a bit of ice on one side. It was still worth every penny. Staff was also really friendly and atmosphere was really nice in there. We also had a pizza and cheese chips with bacon for takeaway for tomorrow as both of those always taste nice even reheated.

I can’t tell you how you will be looking after and what kind of the quality you will see in this fantastic restaurant. Staff are really nice and helpful. The manager call Naz she is fabulous. I highly recommend the grilled seabass! It was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection right in front of me, with amazing flavor. The side salad was a great complement, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A must-try for seafood lovers!

Absolutely amazing!!! I came to this place to have a look at the products, ended up getting a royalty plate!! Great addition to the market in Huddersfield town centre, great opening times, endless fresh fish and sea food options, outstanding customer service, plus the option of grilling your fish in the house (so good for people concerned about their health + Gym BROS “low calories…”) Little advice: try to give the chef freedom to season your fish! Visited Soprano and was welcomed by old-school Italian hospitality, which I greatly appreciated. The food was quite light and not brimming with the heavy-set garlic flavours that I’ve come to love from modern restaurants, however, I actually think this is a nice change. I really worry that in the next 20 years, old-style rustic Italian restaurants will be a thing of the past and I will mourn them when they’re gone! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, as most of what I ordered was off-menu, which was no issue. They allowed me to order things outside of a set deal with no extra charge and their early-bird meal was overly generous. Our meal ended with a gratis shot of Limoncello, just like I remember in the 90’s and 00’s. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Sardinian cooking

it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. Simply gorgeous food. Pizza simply cooked to perfection, dough is cooked perfectly to the point where it’s not too crispy and it’s super easy to bite into. The cheese perfectly melted to the pin where it’s not too burnt, crust is nice and soft and the bbq swirl on top of my pizza is a lovely and delicious touch. Definitely ordering here again. Where do I start !!! Loaded nachos like no other - I’m a massive nacho fan and just as the name they go by they are definitely like no other. The crunch the flavour of the meat and then melt in your mouth cheese it was absolutely beautiful. First time trying truffle chips have to say the truffle and Parmesan combination winner for me seasoning is just right the truffle is tasty and subtle. We also had the pesto chicken pizza base cooked to perfection nice and soft not burned or crispy like you get in other places. Restaurant quality food delivered right to your door step keep up the good work Gourmet Hub I will be a regular customer that’s for sure as the whole family enjoyed the food. I have had plenty of burgers but this place is a hidden gem for Burger lovers one of the Best SMASH burgers i have had in a long time. Good portion size and no soggy bottoms. Pesto pizza was amazing and their dough is lite and very different from any local pizzas i have had. Tasted even better next day. Star of the show was Nutella explosion Pizza. My kids Loved it. Good quality food, very reasonably priced, friendly staff. 2 visits in 2 weeks and i am already planning my 3rd trip. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had hot shot parmesan, Peri-Peri wings, pizza and some more food, food really tasty the one we ordered but they take a bit long to cook it.

Some of the food was great, the pizza, the parmos all good. The pasta dish was sadly mostly vegetables with not much pasta. And the loaded fries were too spicy for us and went uneaten. We do get takeaways from here frequently but this was our first time eating in and we tried a couple of different items to normal. Unsure why the pizzas aren’t available on Uber Eats. We would use this restaurant more often if they were..
