It was my First time here after i hear ld a lot about this place, i decided to finally pay them a visit not as a business owner but as a customer We ordered two turkeys breakfast, it was absolutely delicious, it gives you a real Turkish experience, i had it before in Turkey and it looks exactly same. We offer a Kurdish mix breakfast which is a bit different so i liked it and the good thing that the staff informed us that we can refill the tea as much as we want and also they offered us a free bread with it after we finished our bread, The honey butter,flower jam was the best i have ever had. The lady staff was nice and welcoming. I highly recommended and wishing you all the best from Mood Cafe team

Always fresh Always delicious If you haven't been here you're missing out! All the food is homemade, even the condiments! and they taste amazing. Love the homemade Turkish nan especially with their homemade honey butter. Nice calm atmosphere and lovely service.

Friendly service. Clean environment. Wasn't sure what to get so the owner showed me all the dishes. Opted for the Turkish breakfast, in the afternoon. This consisted of cheeses, olives, fig jam, hummus, shakshouka type dish, and honey cream/butter, bread, egg, Turkish tea. We shared this between 2 and had kunafa dessert for afters. All in all it was good experience and will be returning to try one of the stews.

We have been to this place many times. Their hospitality is amazing. The food is very tasty and also the price is very cheap. Highly recommended.

We visited ladz today with family after hearing about it from friends and i must say from the staff to food, everything was absolutely brilliant, staff was very helpful in recommending foods and the service was very quick and the food was presented immaculately... they scored 10/10 on food freshness, quality and the taste.. i am a fussy person when it comes to food and i couldn't fault one single thing... if i must mention that i wouldn't be going to any other peri chicken place after eating lads... photos attached.

This is my go to place almost every week. The food is served fresh and hot, the staff is very kind. My Favorite meal is the loaded box 1. Enough for one, economical, student discount is also available. Convenient location right next to Train station. Must try cheers .

Alhamdulillah 😊 Was with my friend , he had a train to catch , ordered the Single Sharing Platter 🍗🐓🐔 Staff knew my friend had a train and they brought the food fast and quickly 😌😊🍗🍗 Grilled chicken was nice , 1 chicken enough for 2 people, sauces were interesting Steak chips were nice and thick 🍟🍟🍟 I really liked the fact that they had proper metal cutlery and ceramic plates for dine in patrons! It really makes a difference :) Staff were friendly and helpful I am definitely going to come again and try the smash burgers !

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

What can I say. Probably the nicest eatery in Huddersfield. Just shared a first date here this afternoon for an amazing Sunday lunch. The food was simply superb, which makes it great value for money, the service was excellent and so friendly. With a lovely busy atmosphere. Such a lovely an memorable place.

We have visited this restaurant more than any other since they opened in 2019 and the standards have always been high (in fact I think they get better!). The food is modern British cuisine using locally sourced seasonal ingredients and the flavours on offer are bold and delicious. The Sunday Lunch menu is a real highlight with 3 courses for £30 featuring a selection of Roast Dinners that are hard to beat. The Brunch menu is really varied with your traditional Full English, Eggs Benedicts, Avo on Toast as well as some new additions like Savoury Crepes and Pancake Stacks for the sweet tooths- you can also go bottomless with some refreshing Mimosas and Bellinis. The standard A La Carte has some fantastic options too- a decent list of small plates if you fancy tapas style as well as some gorgeous main course dishes to suit every palate. The signature Steak and Ale Pie is not to be missed and has been consistently good since day one! As we approach summer do not skip their stunning secret garden which on a sunny day makes you forget you are in Huddersfield- our favourite place to relax with great food and drinks. Talking of drinks, the wine list is extensive and they have picked some truly fabulous wines to pair with the food. There is also a cocktail list as well as local beers. Steve and Helen do an amazing job at running the best restaurant in Huddersfield- we highly recommend a visit but be warned you will keep going back for more

I highly recommend the grilled seabass! It was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection right in front of me, with amazing flavor. The side salad was a great complement, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A must-try for seafood lovers!

Great range of fresh and live fish. Great staff and even the option of having your fish grilled whilst you wait. Well worth a visit.

Nice friendly staff, nice atmosphere buffet style menu. Order your starters until your ready to move onto the main. Order your mains until your stuffed. The best thing is that all the food is cooked freshly and not stood for ages like in a normal style buffet restaurant. And all for £12.50 but they do close at 9pm so be early and we'll worth a visit

Went to Royal City, all you can eat, with the in- laws, and was very satisfied. We did book a table but I am sure we would have been seated even if we hadn't. We tried a good portion of the starters and even ordered some more won ton. We had king prawn curry, (which I think was shrimp curry) which was very enjoyable, also beef in black bean and chicken in oyster sauce. Fried rice, noodles, garlic mushrooms and vegetables. And everything was very well prepared and tasted very nice. We left very full and happy, will return.

Took my mum last night for her 60th, we were a party of 6. The staff were absolutely amazing no request was too big or too small. The food was amazing and we all enjoyed our visit. We definitely will be back

I had my 40th birthday fine Dinning last party at Royal City on 2nd March. It was indeed a splendid experience. The staff were so supportive, friendly, and very approachable. The food tastes great. The atmosphere was top notch, and to crown it all , they decorated my session with my choice colours. Went there with a friends family on Mother's Day, and we had a swell time. You do need to worry about car park as they have a massive parking space right at the restaurant location. I would recommend Royal City any time, any day. Please visit ROYAL CITY and thank me later.

it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the soft glow of ambient lighting and charming Italian-inspired decor that transported me straight to the heart of Italy. The menu offered a perfect balance of traditional classics and innovative dishes. Mirto is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine with a touch of elegance. I can’t wait to return and try more from their amazing menu! Highly recommend!

Visited Soprano and was welcomed by old-school Italian hospitality, which I greatly appreciated. The food was quite light and not brimming with the heavy-set garlic flavours that I’ve come to love from modern restaurants, however, I actually think this is a nice change. I really worry that in the next 20 years, old-style rustic Italian restaurants will be a thing of the past and I will mourn them when they’re gone! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, as most of what I ordered was off-menu, which was no issue. They allowed me to order things outside of a set deal with no extra charge and their early-bird meal was overly generous. Our meal ended with a gratis shot of Limoncello, just like I remember in the 90’s and 00’s. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Sardinian cooking

This place is great! Food is excellent quality and the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority, some italian classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. I highly recommend this place for a perfect 5 course take away meal.

Simply gorgeous food. Pizza simply cooked to perfection, dough is cooked perfectly to the point where it’s not too crispy and it’s super easy to bite into. The cheese perfectly melted to the pin where it’s not too burnt, crust is nice and soft and the bbq swirl on top of my pizza is a lovely and delicious touch. Definitely ordering here again. I have had plenty of burgers but this place is a hidden gem for Burger lovers one of the Best SMASH burgers i have had in a long time. Good portion size and no soggy bottoms. Pesto pizza was amazing and their dough is lite and very different from any local pizzas i have had. Tasted even better next day. Star of the show was Nutella explosion Pizza. My kids Loved it. Good quality food, very reasonably priced, friendly staff. 2 visits in 2 weeks and i am already planning my 3rd trip. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

What a fantastic pub! The food arrived so quickly; it was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and delicious. The gluten free fish and chips was the best I've ever had. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, including to our young baby. Will definitely be coming back.

Top marks to the Royal & Ancient. Over on holiday from Australia my sister wanted to treat me to a high tea. It is not on the menu but the team at the pub pulled out all the stops and we had one of my tastiest high teas ever. Scotch Eggs, oh how I've missed you 😍 Highly recommended.

This place deserves its 5 stars - had a fantastic meal there and it was absolutely Top Drawer. The ham shank is huge - filet beef served pink as described and beautifully seared. Finished with Bakewell and Sticky Toffee pudding. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful Xmas Eve dinner !

Food was amazing, authentic lebanese dishes. Had the lamb and chicken mixed shawarma with the garlic sauce, unreal. Even the pizza is delicious, crispy and perfect. Service was amazing, we were welcomed as soon as we walked in, atmosphere is very cosy! Modern but still a warm, traditional space. If you decide to go make sure to try the traditional knafe, we finished 4 plates!!

Authentic Lebanese cuisine in downtown Huddersfield. This was a great time. The food was delicious, the wine was flowing and the company was excellent. The atmosphere was top notch and the staff were just so friendly. We will be back.

Don't know why it's taken me so long to go. Went on a Monday early evening 5.15pm was pleasantly surprised 30+ diners must be a good sign the restaurant is great. Friendly attentive staff, lots of choice of dishes would definitely recommend and I'll be coming back.

Been a few times for work Christmas meals and I have never been disappointed. Food is always hot and tasty and the service is great. A mistake by our group in the order was rectified by the staff with no issues, even though it wasn't thier mistake. Price is very reasonable and the food is of a good standard.
