I craved Persian food because I wanted the comfort of feeling at home, with someone cooking for me, and Rivas delivered exactly that. The food was excellent—fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the cozy atmosphere added to the experience. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were just right.

Family run, simple food but so tasty and so well cooked. Although a limited menu the food was all excellent. And great value too. The aubergine starter was very vice. My favourite was the vine leaves could of eaten lots of those. The chicken and lamb kebabs were so nice. They apparently even do a collection take out so I think we will be definitely eating there again. The Baklava was very nice and I don't even like nuts.

A lovely family run restaurant and takeaway offering the most delicious Persian food. The owners are hard working, generous and friendly. The restaurant is immaculate with traditional decor adorning the walls and corners. We could tell that the food was cooked with love and passion. We enjoyed having mixed grill with rice and were very kindly offered some extras too - bread, chips and salad!! We strongly recommend this restaurant (which we have visited a few times as a family) serving healthy fresh food with love.

What a little gem! This place serves authentic and delicious Polish food in a very relaxed setting with both indoor and outdoor seating. The choice of menu was just right (not too long trying to offer everything!). Pork shank was very tender and juicy. Dumplings melts in your mouth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not to mention the price is very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back again!

I had the pleasure of trying the Rye Soup and Hungarian-style Potato Pancakes paired with a fantastic beer at this Polish restaurant, and I was absolutely blown away! The Rye Soup was a comforting and flavorful start to the meal, with its rich, earthy taste. The Hungarian-style Potato Pancakes were a crispy and indulgent treat, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The combination of flavors in each dish was truly exceptional. To top it off, the beer selection was outstanding, and it complemented the meal beautifully. The overall dining experience was outstanding, and I can't wait to return for more of this delicious Polish cuisine. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking for an authentic and mouthwatering dining experience!

Popped in with my other halfs parents who have never tried Polish food before, they absolutely loved it all and would keep talking about how lovely it was! Beautiful little gem! food was gorgeous, service was very welcoming, speaking both languages which made everything so much easier, and very quick too! Definitely recommend and definitely will be back!

Sunday lunch was fantastic actually! Proper Sunday lunch. Finding a menu, and a table is a bit of an exploration though through random doors and hallways, with staff not very helpful unless you specifically ask for help. They stood and watched us wander around lost.

A superb, traditional and historic pub with low ceilings and lots of character. There is also a peaceful beer garden and bright conservatory at the back. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was freshly cooked, generously portioned and very good quality. We had the Sunday roast and a Thai dish which were both excellent. This is so much better than the many chain pubs nearby and well worth seeking out either for a craft beer and/or an excellent meal

Very popular village pub alongside an open green heath. Fairly plain on the outside, but the inside offers an intrigue of dark walled rooms and corridors that are magical. Stepping back in time, this pub has a good selection of beers and friendly staff. It's history is proudly available to read in a prepared folder. Seating inside, including a conservatory, and outside in the garden. Friendly staff and fellow customers. Food is available in the Thai restaurant next door, which is also reached through a corridor from inside the pub.

Booked a table and had a really good meal. Starters were lovely and main course also really good. Restaurant was quiet but the food was great and the waiters were really attentive and nothing too much trouble. Complimentary coffee at the end was a lovely touch. Will definitely be trying again.

The waiters were friendly and informative, the decor is a bit plain but you are there for the food.. the food is of a good quality with ample portions. It's very well presented.. we were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices for good food.. we will definitely recommend this restaurant and will return..

Fabulous day for my daughter's baby shower, the autumnal theme was spectacular, the food, service and atmosphere was brilliant, Abbey and her staff are hardworking and polite and made the day so special. I would definitely recommend The White Horse.

Very cosy homely public house. Excellent menu with a variety of choice and board specials. Staff are friendly and go above and beyond. Meals are excellent value for money. It is best to book a table before you attend. Would highly recommend.

The Scottish lady who is the manager is what hospitality is all about, kind, warm helpful knows her locals and wants to get to know new guests. Rest of the staff are like her too and the food is beautiful 😍

Visited Khaans Restaurant with my family, consisting of nine people, and the food was excellent. The restaurant was tidy and pleasant, and my family had a great time. Adam provided us with wonderful service, and the ambiance was serene and inviting. They even treated us to some onion bhajis, which were outstanding.

Place is lovely, lots of variety in their food and the customer service is outstanding. Would 110% recommend to try. Hassan Ali is great to customers and conversing whilst we wait for food.

KHAANS is an absolute gem! The food is bursting with authentic Indian flavours, every dish is perfectly cooked and delicious. The service is outstanding; the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. Combined with a warm and inviting ambiance, this place is a must visit for anyone craving amazing Indian cuisine. Can’t wait to go back!

We received a voucher from our letting agents to try a local restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal . We had some snacks, starters, mains and an extra side . I had an aperitif drink and a wine , my husband had a cider . Without the voucher it would have been around £75. Service was good at arrival and throughout but slow in the end when wanting to pay. It’s a pretty restaurant with a nice atmosphere. I’d recommend as a good restaurant in Wakefield.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Iris! The blue cheese arancini for starter was a standout with its well-balanced flavors and lovely texture. The confit duck leg for the main course and the golden snitch for dessert were equally delicious. The service from the staff was excellent. We will definitely be returning for more delicious meals! There was also a good atmosphere in the restaurant… it was busy but not too loud which a good selection of music playing.

Never had a bad meal here. The best Sunday roast in Yorkshire puddings to die for! Starters are a must i can never manage a pudding as well but they looks special. Staff are very attentive.

Fantastic place with excellent food, efficient service and very good value for money. I had a starter (pigs in blankets), a beautifully cooked pork belly with a celeriac slaw and a cheese board for dessert for just over £25. Fantastic.

Food and beer range excellent and good quality. Strong menu. Service a little on the slow side, it does feel as if the kitchen/bar can’t keep up with the number of tables. Unfortunately, the pub was very loud on this visit which did make the atmosphere a little unpleasant.
