Watched this takeaway on a YouTube review, and couldn't wait to see how good it was. I've family and friends in this town, but I'd never heard of them before, so I didn't quite know what to expect. It's not your usual takeaway or mobile kitchen, so I was a bit apprehensive, with just a wooden paneled serving window and an exit door. However, please don't let that put you off. Once you engage with the staff, you feel appreciated and a welcomed customer. Whilst placing your order you are supported through your choices and guided towards making the right choices. They don't just ask what you want, they appear to actually care about giving you what they believe you'll enjoy (after all, they know what it actually tastes like). After ordering, we waited approximately 5 minutes for the order to be brought to our car, and I knew from the weight of the bag, we were in for a treat. 2 cans of lemon Fanta for only £2 tells you everything you need to know about this operation. Too many places would have charged you £1.50 a can, so hats off before I've even sunk my teeth into my meal. You are given an opportunity of eating on the outside seating, or within your vehicle, but we chose to drive into the beautiful countryside close by and stop at the side of the road looking over the Hooten Pagnall valley. Wow, what a taste sensation that was. I started on a Brunch Burger and was not disappointed. Smashed Sausage pattie Smashed Beef pattie Fried egg Mini hash browns Streaky smoked baco Their sauces. OMG WOW, Without doubt, I've never had a burger with as much taste in my life And the pretzel bread buns are fantastic. This was supported with the loaded fries, which appeared to be normal french fries, drowned in cheese, sauce, (we chose chicken), slaw and crusty bits, which again were to die for. We finished it all off with halloumi cheese salad, which was full of sauce, salad (lettuce, onion, cucumber, pickles, jalapeno chillies, secret slaw), and blew our minds. This was my birthday treat from my Fiancé, and she can be happy that mission was accomplished. We will be back. The 40 mile return journey is worth it. Thank you Moonshine Shack 😁

Had a few meals here. Food cooked perfectly to order. Delicious. Would recommend. Really enjoyed the milkshakes too. I mixed two flavours (salted caramel & white chocolate) and absolutely will again! Well worth the asking price.

I visited these guys at their previous location and was blown away, I was pleased to see their hard work was paying off through Instagram having moved to this location, the move hasn’t affected the quality of everything from the box the burgers are served in to the most important thing, the food 😋 These guys know how it’s done 😍 The food is absolutely incredible and I’ve just finished this week’s special, it’s all special but not at expensive prices👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Never seen onion rings that big before, the meat is perfect, just the right amount of sauce, bacon crispy, just can’t praise the whole experience more. Make a date and get here, just drop in for a homemade burger on the way home, get ya friends and family here for a party, treat your partner to a intimate dinner 😍 you won’t regret it 😋

No other words then Amazing!! The food was amazing, the service was amazing aswell. Ordered the Hunters chicken and it was quick and friendly service. The chicken was so tasty I could of ordered another one, but very filling x

Honestly the best little sandwich shop in the area. I’m a very picky eater and this place cooks my food exactly how I ask and also every lady who works there makes you feel welcome and is super lovely 🥰

Love this place, even if just popping in for a takeaway drink. Tasty, fresh, high quality breakfast. Quick service, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Cakes look lovely and fresh. Great coffee too (after moving to the area I have struggled to find a decent coffee in South Elmsall - well not anymore!). I will be back!

Amazing lockdown takeaway food! Had the tapas a few weeks ago, just polished off some seafood and steak. Looking forward to when it opens up full time when able. Highly recommended, for drinks and especially food.

I came here for a friend's birthday and bought some Thai noodles and a hot chocolate, the service was excellent and the food was delicious, we also got a free plate of chips on the house. When we were doing the cake one of the waiters gave us a lighter to light the candles and sparklers on the cake, and all the people there joined in when we sung happy birthday.

Lovely little place! We’ve been wanting to visit for a while, and it did not disappoint! Food was so tasty we ordered; Thai milk tea, Tom Yum (prawn) and Teriyaki Chicken Katsu), the portion sizes are perfect, staff are also really lovely! Would love to see some ramen dishes on the specials board, we will definitely be back thank you! 😊

Came here on recommendation of a close friend. It was a nice, clean and cozy cafe. Owners seemed very genuine and accommodating. Food was on point! Literally ate everything off my plate and they were generous portions. Will frequent when I’m in the area as I’ve really enjoyed it.

Great little Chip Shop, more like a traditional chip shop where it takes like it should and not that generic chip shop taste that seems to be everywhere now.

Best chippy I've been to in South kirkby. Thoughly enjoyed the food from here. Friendly people and fast service. My go to chippy from now on.

Good old fashioned very tasty Fish n Chips cooked in traditional Dripping which makes a huge difference to the taste and texture which is superior to oil. Staff are very friendly which is also wonderful. Also you can Get your real home made/soaked Mushy peas there. Decent home made fish Turnovers are a must have there. 11/10

Very nice and friendly staff. Had Sunday lunch which was absolutely beautiful. Cappuccino was spot on. Everything was reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning. Recommend 100% 10/10.

Best Indian food around. Me and my friend have been coming here for well over ten years. Been to quite a few Indian restaurants and this is the best we won't go anywhere else.

First time I've ordered from the Spice Garden and the food was absolutely amazing, generous servings too.

The food was very tasty. The paneer cheese is great and I love it. Naan bread is delicious and the staff was very nice. The amount of food you get doesn’t look like too much but honestly, one portion can feed two people easily.

First time in for the carvery and thoroughly enjoyed it and the food was great my only criticism/comment ( and it's the same at every carvery I've been to ) the selection of meat was beef, turkey, pork and gammon 1 dark meat and 3 light meats but only one beef gravy. Could do with a gravy to complement the light meats as I chose pork and gammon so why would I want a beef gravy. Still a really nice Sunday dinner keep it up

Really lovely local - recently had a fabulous make over. Greeted with a warm welcome by all the staff, (who can’t do enough to help!) and served with beautiful home cooked food. Really great value - lots of choice - highly recommend a visit!

Beautifully decorated, gorgeous food and reasonable prices. I struggle with big meals so love getting the pick n mix plates, the duck bon bons are to die for.

Absolutely wonderful! Place is spotless, staff so friendly and accommodating. Fab chef, food outstanding. Grounds impeccable. I'm a spot picker but couldn't find any spots to pick. Looking forward to going again!

We had a lovely night here following a trip to Wakefield. Service was great and the Christmas meal in the Jacobian pub was delicious. And a great breakfast! Only negative was that, despite the rooms being spacious and modern, there were no power sockets anywhere near the bed!

Managed to hit on very lucky - Got deal on Groupon for 1 night in a luxury suite including 2 course evening meal and breakfast for 2 for £160. It was money well spent. The room was absolutely beautiful and so clean. It was even decorated for Christmas and we had our own Christmas tree. The room was 2 floors - king size bed (most comfortable mattress and pillows and bedding) with a little longer area upstairs and a huge bathroom! The food was to die for. Best salmon I have ever had! The staff were lovely, so chatty and friendly. I 100% reccomend this place!

stayed in one of the suites , really really good value for money , very clean , great location . Great place to stay for a quiet night away ,unless the suite next door has a childs bday party staying the night !!! if thats the case then you get to listen to banging , running up and down stairs , banging on your glass door and pop music wake up call at 7am on a sunday morning 😳 . it would be a 5 star review otherwise .

Visited 'Spice 71' after undertaking a late delivery in Pontefract. Ordered a Prawn Puri Starter, Chicken Madras & Pilau Rice . . 10/10 for a truly superb takeaway meal. The flavours were exquisite and the quality of the ingredients was clear to see (and indeed savour) In the words of Arnie . . I'll Be Back!

The best proper curry I've had in a long time. Food fresh, well presented. Guy who served me is so polite and well mannered. Delivery was quick and delivery guy also super polite. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again!

Always a good curry. Authentic flavours. Well presented food. Absolutely lush naan breads. Meat always tender in dishes. I love the jalfrezi, and karahi. No complaints since opening, use on a weekly basis Thanks to spice 71 for the best curry around here
