We had a fabulous family meal on Sunday evening. The staff were very attentive as we had some elderly family members. Food was served timely and hot ( I hate warm food ) and was excellent quality. Highly recommended and nice to support a local business.

Recently visited for the first time under new management and really impressed. Food very tasty, decent portion sizes and excellent service, will definitely be going again. If you fancy a beer with your curry, remember it’s bring your own.

Absolutely blown away this evening with the excellent service, extremely welcoming atmosphere and the fresh, deliciously cooked food! The Royal mixed grill we had for our starter was huge.. our main dishes, recommended by our waiter, were spot on! The staff couldn’t do enough for us.. please don’t ever change! We’ll see you again very soon!!

The food is AMAZING here! We have visited several times for Sunday dinner, small plates menu and I've held 2 parties here too - the service is quick, all the staff are really friendly and the food is THE BEST around. When booking parties Josh cannot help enough to make sure everything is organised & perfect for the day, I recommend The Brick Yard to everyone I know!

The best Sunday dinner! The main roast is served family style which I loved then you can order sides too. Everything was so delicious, so much flavour. Service was great too! You get so much food for the price £25pp for two courses. We've been for the roast twice now and loved it just as much both times. Highly recommend booking in.

Cannot recommend the brickyard enough! I have been here for on a couple of occasions, for their yoga brunch and for Sunday lunch! The perfect events space, the ambience and menu is always fantastic. Hands down the BEST Sunday lunch we have ever had!

Superb. Couldn’t fault it, everything was great, well presented & seasoned perfectly. Between the two of us we shared 3 small plates (pinsa bread, butter chicken, salt cod) and a mixed board which was a perfect amount of food. Staggered well, we didn’t feel at all rushed. See you again soon

We went to Rubus social for food and drinks on Saturday and can honestly say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely amazing, each dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell that they really care about what they’re serving, what truly made the visit memorable was the staff. They were so friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality really added to the whole dining experience. Whether you’re going for the food, the atmosphere, or both, Rubus Social definitely delivers! We ordered from Dough on New Year’s Eve, and despite how busy they were, both the food and service were absolutely outstanding. The quality of the ingredients truly sets Dough apart, with every bite showcasing their commitment to freshness and flavor. Since moving to the area, Dough has become our go-to takeaway, thanks to their fantastic range of pizzas, pastas, and burgers, all crafted to perfection. The staff consistently provide exceptional service. We can’t recommend Dough highly enough!

My daughter had her 16th Birthday meal here with her friends and we all had a lovely evening!!! Thank you to the really helpful staff for making this an enjoyable night! The GLUTEN FREE offerings were wonderful, so my Seabream was cooked to perfection!!! There's A Lot of GLUTEN FREE choice! All the teenagers had starters and pizza and there were no complaints!!! We were all very impressed with the whole evening! Thank you!!

The restaurant is very nicely decorated... it has a bit of an industrial edge but mixed with comfortable seating and a warm Mediterranean feel. The menu is a lot more streamlined than some places we've been to but we were still stuck with what to decide on. I ordered the king prawns to start and a starter portion of stuffed peppers for my main. However the prawns were so good I asked for some more to have a tapas style main. My other half had the carpaccio and the trio of fish, which came with fries. I stole a few and they were really good chips. We of course had some courgette frites (they weren't in batter they were in light breadcrumbs and it reminded me a bit of when you get deep fried mozzarella) and we also shared some spinach. The Gavi white wine was lovely; very light and no acidic after taste. We may have started with an espresso martini each... he also finished with one whilst I ordered a tiramisu with two spoons for us both. The tiramisu was different to what I've had before but was defo worth the carbs! They also bring you a drink on the house at the end... we chose the amaretto option. There was a mix of people in there... young and old... couples, friends, families. Would definitely recommend! The only feedback I could give really is maybe get a few table height wine stands as on a table for two with the wine and water etc it got a bit full.

Myself and my family in law, recently visited this establishment this evening. I would like to take the time to say that the staff were absolutely on point. Very professional and couldn't be more helpful enough. The food was hot and served on time, absolutely no complaints from any of the 4 of us that attended. Tasted beautiful, the tomato sauce was rich and full of flavour 😋 would 100% eat here again. Thankyou to each and everyone that works here and provides such a great service.

I booked a meal on Friday night as part of my friends hen-do celebrations. There was a large party of us and a bit of a mix up with the booking when we got there but the staff were so accommodating and were happy to sort it all out quickly which I was so grateful for! All the staff were kind and patient with us and everyone said how much they enjoyed their food. Will definitely be back!

One of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. Flat iron steak was cooked perfectly. We ordered one of every side dish between 2 of us. When it arrived we thought we'd massively overdone it. But it was all so tasty that we polished off the lot. No room for pudding though. Only small negative - it was very noisy and hard to have a conversation while we ate. This was mostly due to some unruly kids and inadequate parents on the next table, but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

I would give them 10 starts if I could. I could arguably say that this has been the best brunch that I have ever had in my life. Everything from start to finish was simply PERFECT. AMAZING atmosphere and service and food was divine. Everything was freshly made and tastes absolutely sensational. Staff are very attentive and helpful and extremely polite. 1000% recommend this to everyone and trust you will not regret it.

I recently went for brunch at The Brooks in Brighouse and it was awesome. Right when you walk in, the place feels welcoming and cozy, making you feel right at home.The menu is packed with all sorts of yummy options. From the usual brunch goodies to some really unique dishes, there's something for everyone. I picked something off the menu that not only looked amazing but tasted incredible too. You could tell they used fresh ingredients because every bite was super flavorful. The staff at The Brooks were great as well. They were super friendly, always there when you needed them, and knew the menu inside out. They recommended some really good dishes and drinks that went perfectly with what we were in the mood for.The vibe of the place is just as cool. It's got a stylish yet laid-back decor, making it a perfect spot whether you're out for a casual brunch or celebrating something special. Plus, sitting outside on a nice day in Brighouse is pretty hard to beat.All in all, The Brooks is definitely a place I’d go back to and tell my friends about. If you’re looking for a solid brunch spot, this place should be on your list.

Every other chippy owner needs to visit here and see where your all going wrong.........still the best.....not by much but by a country mile. Properly cooked batter that doesn't leave you feeling like you need to lie down for 3 hours after eating . Never ever had a bad fish and chips from here and that can't be said of others .

4pm and looking for tearooms for my elderly Dad with mobility difficulties to enjoy a cup of tea and a slice of chocolate cake.... no names mentioned re customer service (follow my reviews). I've being using this establishment for the last 2 years for takeaways on a weekly basis and I've never had a bad meal. My particular favourite is a portion of Fish bites. Not only is the food good but all the staff are courteous, helpful and friendly. Top marks 👌 👏

Yet again fantastic. I personally like that fish are cooked to order not 10 fish just sat there waiting for people to buy and drying out. Some people might want to go in with things ready and go. But it's personal preference. The gentleman who cooks is so nice and takes pride in what he does. other chip shops in the past are hit & miss. This chip shop is abit pricey but always Quality food lovely fish and perfect batter. So you pay for what you get. Thank you 👍

Only bobbed by for a quick potato scallop, which came with bits .. bloody amazing. Crispy batter, butter soft potato in the middle , with free bits on top.. rally a meal in itself , but I got one to try and review, and happy i was too. Great value .. absolutely no complaints here worth of 5 stars.

Been meaning to go to this restaurant for 20 years and finally did so last night for Xmas eve. Cannot believe not been before as one of the best meals had in a long time. Everything was perfect and we were a party of 7 and everyone said their meals with amazing. Great service as well and the best thing was that eventhough we were a party of 7 they didn't automatically add a service charge onto the bill which is so unusual these days. Also thought the price was really reasonable for the quality of the food. Definitely my new favourite restaurant and will be coming back a lot quicker.

Excellent Greek food ! , went for the battered halloumi starter which was delicious , fried to perfection in a lovely batter. Me and my girlfriend went for the kebab platter to share ,this was excellent for the amount of variety on the platter from the wings to the lovely kebabs and rice this was spot on and highly recommend if attending with someone else as there is more than enough food to feed both of you , overall great spot in brighouse and will be back soon !

Recently used the Rounhill for a family wake. The service was perfect - nothing was too much trouble. Lovely cosy pub with plenty of room for our guests. The pub does not open until 3pm which made it a perfect spot to share memories privately before other customers arrived. A buffet was provided by Maggie which exceeded all expectations. The drinks are reasonably priced and the beer drinkers were highly impressed with the choices. Thank you

A hidden gem! Passed this place so many times and quite glad I took the time to visit. Great staff and friendly locals make this a more than welcoming place. Lovely internal features and a cracking view to the back. Good selection of beers at a reasonable price....A deffo return visit is in order!

Nice friendly pub.old style decoration. Doesn't serve food only the usual crisps and nuts, etc. Does, however, have a free table of food cheese, pork pies,sausage rolls, cheese biscuits, pickles, and biscuits on a Sunday afternoon between 2pm and 4 pm. There are disabled toilets, wheelchair access, own car parking, or off-road parking. Log fire during the colder days and nights. Friendly bar staff. If you like cricket, there's an outside balcony overlooking rastrick cricket club where you can sit out and watch the matches with a pint and a packet of crisps Plenty of choice for drinks.
