“Absolutely brilliant food, great atmosphere and the attention to detail from the staff was incredible. All staff members went the extra mile for our dairy-allergy kids! Thank you, and I’m sure we’ll be back sometime soon!”

“Everything was amazing, from the moment me and my family walked in the waiters were lovely and the food was 100/10. The waiting time isn't even long, and WOW. I'm so impressed at the chefs, all the food was on point, and we congratulated the team as we fortunately were some of the last to come out of the restaurant. It's literally a hidden gem in Leeds and I am DEFINITELY going back. By the way, the tapas by themselves are quite big, so roughly three is enough to fill you up :)”

“As I live close to Hyde Park corner & drive through the main junction often I saw that Ornaise Cafe had closed & something was in the process of getting ready to trade, next I saw the new signage going up so had a better clue what was due to be opening up in it's place. I have been a regular of the other Hyde Park Greek style food outlets that was Mythos and Little Athens for a while now I was keen to try this new kid on the block serving up Greek street food style & a tasty Gyros is a favourite of mine as I holiday to Kefalonia because my brother owns a house there & I would like to think I know decent Greek street food when I taste it as Argostoli the main town on the island has an abundance of very good street food outlets serving up the usual suspects found on UK Greek street food menus. As this new place has been open a few weeks now it would be settled in so I decided to go check it out with my half Greek Cypriot good pal JJ who reckons he's the Leeds authority on Greek scran (note I said half🤣). The decor and layout is nice & chilled and extremely clean and tidy, the seating area was full and no tables were free so we chilled near the service area and had a look at the menu for what was available, the open plan kitchen lets you see what's going on and see your order being prepared on the grill. We went to sit down at a table that had now become available and after making up our minds I then went to order at the counter. I opted for the full mixed grill box and a cherry beverage and JJ chose the Pork Gyros with a Coke Zero. The bill came to just shy of 30 quid which at first seemed a little bit on the pricey side. After around a 15 minute wait our food arrived at our table brought by the friendly young lady who was polite and courteous, I was incredibly happy with what I was presented with, the meat was plentiful and the salad looked fresh and vibrant. I went straight in for the chicken souvlaki and couldn't believe the taste and texture, it had that great chargrilled aroma and taste, was tender and perfect seasoned and cooked, the meat was not at all dry and rubbery, it was 100% the best skewered bit of chicken I've had outside of Greece so I couldn't wait to get stuck in to the rest, the pork skewer was more of the same, tasty and succulent with perfect herby flavours. Whilst there was only 1 lamb chop it was indeed another winner, juicy and bursting with flavours. The absolute delight of the platter was the Greek sausage, it didn't state if it was wild boar but regardless of what it was it was a damn good bit of sausage indeed! The oregano fries were oregano fries but perfectly cooked and crispy with no signs of stale cooking oils etc that you get in some places, they were top notch I guess. JJ reported the Pork Gyros was also banging and had no complaints. The portion sizes were ample so absolutely made up for the 30 quid I paid, I was most definitely satisfied with the scan and I would wholeheartedly recommend this new place over Mythos, sorry guys this is now going to be my go-to greek spot. Oh and the pot of Tzatziki was banging too, fresh to death. If you love Gyros etc then get your arse to The Med, my recommendation for hands down the most fantastic food in Leeds for Greek. Loved it ❤️❤️❤️”

“Wanted to try some proper Korean food and heard that their food is very nice. Went with 2 friends and we were all amazed by how delicious their food was. We ordered 4 starters and thought we couldn't finish but ended up ordering another starter when we were having the main course! The potion is a bit small otherwise we would have been too stuffed to move.”

“Ate in earlier this evening - was really impressed with the speed and service, Yellowstone Burger was perfect and beef dripping chips were on point. Great value for money and they even came around to check everything was okay whilst we were eating - not used to that in a burger place, fab atmosphere, service and food! “We came here on a Sat evening. The restaurant is nice and small. The service was great, staff were attentive. I think some of the portions were lacking for what we paid for, especially the fish taco. Although it was tasty, I wasn't expecting the sushi taco to be that small. Overall the food was nice. Also (as pictured) they have the cutest cutlery set in Leeds.”

HAMA Korean BBQ Buffet
30-32 Woodhouse Ln, Leeds LS2 8LX, UK
Phone: 0113 245 5250
“I enjoyed every bit of it. It is my first time at a Korean restaurant, but I had the a you can eat buffet. This way, I tried every possible combination in my mind. The meal was tasty and well prepared. I also had the opportunity to prepare my own meals. The staff were really courteous and ready to serve. Adult meals individuals above age 12 cost £28, while the price of the children cost the age of the child. For example, an eight year old child cost £8. Would be glad to come back again.”

“Stunning experience, adapted food as much as they could for wife’s garlic intolerance. Only thing missing was able to have a jus with the Sunday dinner as that meant her Yorkshire pudding was dry. But flavour combinations, combined with high quality cooking blew our minds. The service was high class and is how hospitality should be done, just brilliant from everyone making us feel so welcome. The signed menu was a nice touch. One of the best food experiences ever”
