“Amazing Tapas, great value for money we had 6 separate dishes with a glass of sangria for less than £100, the atmosphere...”

Hands down the best tapas I've ever eaten. La Taberna quickly became one of my favorite restaurants after visiting recently. Every dish was of a super high quality and made of the freshest ingredients. This place is miles ahead of a lot of tapas restaurants in surrounding areas. The sangria was crisp and refreshing, staff were attentive and friendly. Just an all around faultless experience and I look forward to visiting in the future.

Everything was amazing, from the moment me and my family walked in the waiters were lovely and the food was 100/10. The waiting time isn't even long, and WOW. I'm so impressed at the chefs, all the food was on point, and we congratulated the team as we fortunately were some of the last to come out of the restaurant. It's literally a hidden gem in Leeds and I am DEFINITELY going back. By the way, the tapas by themselves are quite big, so roughly three is enough to fill you up :)

The best of the best!! My favourite restaurante in the whole country. So authentic. I am so glad this “local” has been given the recognition it deserves. I have been coming to this little taste of heaven for many years now and it gets better every time. The food speaks for itself. They have specials each time which are insanely good. The chorizo dish is the best chorizo al vino I have ever had in my life, considering I lived in Spain for a time. Nothing compares. The people are wonderful, greeting you with a smile and always checking in. The Latin music in the background creates a wonderful atmosphere. And to top it off the sangria both white and red are so delicious. The perfect place for a family gathering, date or catch up. Mi novio dijo “la comida aquí alimenta el alma” y es verdad.

Lovely hidden restaurant, great atmosphere and a very welcoming team providing quick service. Food was tasty and fresh, full of flavour, but unfortunately very salty ! I recommend the octopus dish and aubergine fritters. This place is on the pricier side but a great meal out for an occasion. The recommended 5 plates were not quite filling enough for two people. A lovely evening spent here though, I would come back!

Smashed it.. SUPPORT THIS RESTAURANT!!! visited Saturday 16th November 2024 for my birthday. - Atmosphere was amazing - Staff were polite and couldn’t be more attentive - The value is unreal. 4 persons, 2 bottles of wine, starters and mains £120. I tipped £30 cash as it was so good. - Made the night very special by offering a free birthday cake which was delicious.. gave us 4 spoons but absolutely no chance. 😂😂 all mine. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

One of the hidden gems of Leeds. Immaculate service and food. The staff is absolutely friendly and welcoming, the owner (Fabio) was very polite, accommodating and takes care of his business. My favorite was the pizza, rich in flavor and texture, crispy (the way I like it). I will definitely be coming back again.

A reservation is a must! I visited with my brother, and this was truly the best restaurant in Leeds! The hotel food didn’t have much fresh vegetables, so we ordered two salads, which were absolutely amazing. We also had the ravioli and gnocchi—they were very generous in portion and incredibly delicious. I’m not very familiar with British accents or English in general, so I had a bit of difficulty understanding the female server at times, which was a little unfortunate. However, she was so kind and accommodating, and I really appreciated it. The owner is also very cheerful and welcoming! Thank you for la piola for give us great memories in leeds. :-)

Decided to come here as friends had been and also seen good reviews. We weren't disappointed as the food and service were excellent. Quite small inside but that meant a good atmosphere as all tables were taken. Little rough inside but they are renovating

Wow. What a place. You definitely won’t leave hungry. Every meat that is brought to the table is amazing. The wagyu sausages are to die for. The salad bar is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Plenty of treats on there for everyone. Highly recommend. Servers are lovely and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Wow. What a place! Food was absolutely amazing. Loved the pork with honey, and the fillet and shoulder steak. Omg. Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. The staff were really welcoming and very attentive and made the experience even more pleasurable. We hadn’t booked in advance but luckily were able to get a table. The salad bar was incredible too. Such a gorgeous selection of food, enjoyed trying the different salts, and loved the iberico! Possibly my new favourite steak place will definitely be back next time we’re in Leeds!

I had my graduation dinner here with family, and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. I also got a bottle of wine as a graduation present from the restaurant, and that was really thoughtful of them. It is my second time here. The first time was so good that I promised myself I'd be back if I wanted to mark a special occasion. Fazenda didn't disappoint 😊. P.S If you love meat, this is the place to come to. And it's not just meat. It's the way it is served. Can't find the word to describe it, but it is just special.

Service and interior were superb. It was private, cozy and elegant. The waiter did forget a part of our order but made up for it with a free side. Cocktails (esp the kiwi one) was amazing and paired well with a meaty dish. Prawns and taco were unique and tasted great. My steak was not the temperature I had asked for but I still enjoyed the flavours although I did mix the sauce with some mayo which made it even better. Dessert was one of my favourites. The Argentinian trifle was refreshing and crunchy and the pancake was sweet. I was quite impressed and I would visit again.

From walking in the door, the service was excellent. The staff could not have been more kind and caring. The dining room is very comfy, and the table was set away from others enough to be able to talk to each other without noticing any noise from others around. Drinks were delivered quickly, and we were given time to view our menu and make our choices. Staff came to show us the different cuts of meat and explained more about them. The food was exceptional, and the service was just as great. We will definitely be back. I Recomed the fillet steak, (medium)mash, and the red wine jus. 5+ stars.

Leeds have Gaucho is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a warm, vibrant atmosphere that instantly sets the tone for a memorable dining experience. The service is impeccable — attentive without being overbearing, and the staff is genuinely knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, it’s next level. The steaks we had were cooked to perfection, each one bursting with flavor and tenderness that’s hard to beat!! The sides, from creamy mashed potatoes to perfectly charred vegetables, are just as impressive. I also highly recommend their cocktails, which complement the meal perfectly. The ambiance is stylish but welcoming, making it a great spot for both special occasions and a laid-back evening out. Overall, a flawless experience that earns a solid 10/10!

The Wife and I recently visited and shared The Gaucho Sampler sharing board. At the time of posting this was £130 and included 1.2kg of meat across four cuts; fillet, rump, sirloin and ribeye. All meat was cooked Medium Rare (as recommended). The food quality and presentation was exceptional and definitely on par with some of the best steakhouse restaurants we have visited elsewhere in the country. We felt the service was "ok" but not worth the 12.5% discretionary tip that was on our bill at the end. To reflect this, we reduced the tip to just under 10%. The atmosphere was nice but not as good as other steakhouse restaurants we have visited elsewhere in the country; whether this is due to the fact we visited on a week night is hard to tell but it was still a nice evening with candles lit on tables and background music playing.

Visited for the first time last Saturday. The decor inside is amazing, really beautiful place. We had booked a table online, however we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. I understand waiting 5-10 minutes, but 30 minutes was longer than expected. However on the plus side, we did manage to get a drink from the bar, which was really good. Bar staff have an excellent knowledge of drinks. We settled for the signature set menu. It was absolutely incredible, the tastes and flavours were superb. We were left to enjoy the food and felt that we were given enough time to enjoy the experience. I had ask the staff a couple times for a fork to use, however this never arrived but with it being a busy Saturday I understand things get forgotten. My partner and I really enjoyed the experience, we will definitely be visiting again in the future.

“We recently visited Tattu in Leeds to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were taken in by the beautiful, calming ambiance, and the team made us feel incredibly welcomed. Tom, our server, was exceptionally helpful—when he realized it was our first time at Tattu, he went above and beyond, guiding us through the menu, explaining the dishes in detail, and making thoughtful recommendations. Thanks to him, we felt confident in trying new things and loved every bit of it! The entire experience was seamless, and Tattu truly made our special day even more memorable. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find Tom on the floor as we were leaving, so I’d like to use this chance to thank him again here. Tom is an absolute asset to your team! Thank you, Tattu, for a wonderful evening!”

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience at Tattu, between waiting for trains. We were served by Amber, who was attentive, diligent, warm and courteous. Any establishment is lucky to have her. She recommended the perfect amount of dishes and pairings for us both and guided us through the menu. As halal diners, the menu provides plenty of appropriate options - a stand out dish has to be the mushroom spring rolls. A must go for Leeds foodies.

And speaking of celebrations, our server David was the ultimate party host! With a smile that could light up the room and a wealth of knowledge about the menu, he made our dining experience not just enjoyable but also informative. His attentiveness ensured we never felt neglected, making us feel like VIPs at a culinary gala. We came here for a meal to celebrate my sister's graduation. We chose the Christmas menu I had Risotto ball starter ,which I would recommend was delicious. Me & my partner had steak for the main , this was also extremely tasty and cooked medium-rare. This was also delicious however the steak was a bit chewy , I think it was maybe just the cut of meat being rump, this was the case for both our Steaks. The chocolate dessert was amazing as well I would recommend it.

This was a great dining experience. The food is gourmet style, yet reasonably priced. The table service is excellent and the atmosphere is calm , welcoming and professional. I'd definitely eat here again as the menu has some very delicious sounding dishes.

We had an absolutely amazing night at Shears Yard last night. What a little gem this restaurant is from entering the restaurant we were made to feel very welcome from Ben and the ambiance was so nice and relaxing. We booked a tasting menu for 2 with wine pairing. We can’t recommend this enough it was absolutely delicious. The presentation and quality of the food was first class we savoured every mouthful it was absolutely delicious. We were excited for each dish that followed as Ben explained in absolute detail each course and Alex was very knowledgeable on each of the wines that paired superbly. The service received from Ben and Alex was first class it felt more like a private dining experience they were so attentive and knowledgeable. Also a big shout out to the chef and thank you for the amazing food you prepared for us. We will definitely be back and will continue to recommend this fabulous place!

Very chilled ambiance at shears. I was suprised by the lunch menu cost 2 courses for £20 or 3 courses for £25. At that price (let's be honest was in this day and age a steal, but I was dubious). I was indeed wrong. The quality and presentation of the food was divine. We decided on trying the bread, the butter that day was mixed with timothy taylor beer. Not to my taste, but the forcaccia bread...oh my the bread. The crust was definately to my taste if you lean on the salty side of cuisine it was worth the price! The fish tasted fresh and delicate. My lamb was cooked perfectly. The kimchi potatoes were drier than expected...however, I l2t it go after the chocolate brownie. I shared this with my husband. It was rich with flavour from tart cherries to the silky ganache. I forget our waiters name, but he was chipper and friendly. Gave his opinion on some the dishes which was useful. Was definately a warm welcome coming through the door. I would love to come back for an evening meal.

Highly recommended spot for bottomless brunch. Word of mouth said it was best in Leeds. Checked it out myself and I get it. Great staff, decent options for food, not stingy with refills, overall a great experience. Do yourself a favour and spend 35 quid getting drunk here on a weekend. Love it. Props to Hugo for navigating the overall great service.

Absolutely stunning interior and wonderful cocktails! I recommend stopping by and trying the cocktails and exploring the rococo and neoclassical decorative style. One recommendation I have for this beautiful place is matching the outside seating area to complement the interior design! 10/10 recommend!

Had my sisters wedding reception in the boardroom at lost and found on Albion place. Was an excellent day, felt very relaxed and in good hands with the team. The wedding party thoroughly enjoyed themselves and thought the room we had was lovely. Great service, tasty food (especially the bruschetta) great drinks. Planning the event was easy and communication was consistent and always had quick responses. They really helped make my sisters wedding reception perfect and stress free! Would definitely recommend for small/intimate wedding receptions.

Pretty hidden restaurant located under Quebec's hotel but definitely worth a visit. We ate on a Friday lunchtime and expected to eat from the set menu we'd seen online but unusually they only offer this in the evening. They do have a bar menu for lunch but we opted for the main menu and the food was delicious. Highlights were the french onion soup & Fillet steak gateaux, not the cheapest but absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and the service was excellent with a good recommendation from the extensive wine list from our friendly waiter. We will definitely be back.

This has been an amazing dinner tonight. The menu of the day was an incredible value and for excellent food. My prawn tempura and steak were perfectly presented and both cooked as requested. The dark chocolate fondant was so delicious. My husband had the chicken liver parfait and then Yorkshire pork. Both were just as good as mine. We did dinner with wine which were very good for the price and were nice addition. Cushla and John as well as all staff were professional and wonderful servers. As many new places come and go this restaurant has been around a long time and my only regret is not coming g in sooner. I will certainly be back!

It is a must visit restaurant and there is also a dance club upstairs, there are dance events and lessons on South American style dancing. Very fun places. Spotted the brasserie while I was exploring along the canal and thought I would give it a try even though I had dinner plans. The service was good and friendly. I ordered the fish soup which was tasty. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other items on menu. Update: went back and had a 3 course meal. They didn't disappoint. Service was great and so was the food. For dessert they had a raspberry souffle which was really nice.

I'm usually rather reluctant when it comes to chain restaurants but honestly had a marvelous experience! The food was very tasty, staff very polite, and a very cozy atmosphere. The only downside was the wait time for the food... We waited over an hour for our mains.
