Great find when working away, had the chicken supreme tonight with a lovely glass of pinot Grigio, this was my second visit after the meatballs the night before. Up there with best food I’ve had and well worth a visit, lasses front of house do a great service as well👍🏽👍🏽

A fresh take on authentic Italian dishes. Quality was outstanding, food was cooked to perfection & the wines & cocktails were top quality & served by a team of incredible staff ! The Restaurant itself is in a great spot in the middle of Saltaire & the atmosphere inside is glamorous but cozy & warm. Many thanks to Chef & Staff for our amazing New Year's eve party of 5. Thanks guys !

Visited for the first time this New Year’s Eve. Absolutely fantastic food, wine and service. Wild boar and nduja meatballs to die for and the fennel red pesto pizza was delicious. Can’t wait to book in again to try some more meals!! A local new firm favourite.

First visit here. Won’t be our last. We were made to feel very welcome - friendly and engaging staff. Even if the food had been terrible and the staff rude, this place would have still got a five star review for the ‘Nduja martini. It was out of this world! So much so, I had another. 🤤 The food was delicious, very well presented, the portion sizes were great and we left very full and happy. Extremely reasonably priced! The staff had great rapport and made it an experience. My only teeny tiny bit of criticism was that the restaurant felt cold - however it was also -5°c outside. It warmed up when the restaurant was full - so finding a balance is challenging which I appreciate. The only other tiny point was glassware which was acknowledged before the wine was served. My partner got a nice wine glass, so they were happy! 😁 What would we like to see? 1. You obviously have a very skilled chef - go more adventurous with some unique specials. 2. You have an excellent drinks menu with some interesting gin, cider and cocktail options. Your wines are very reasonably priced, it would be good to see a wine list that was as varied as your drinks list. I also appreciate you need to offer what will sell by the bottle ☺️ Thank you - we will see you again soon!

Service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious. We couldn't fault it. Highly recommend. 10/10

The place is outstandingly good. We came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and were pleasantly surprised to find room available. We ordered an English breakfast and Shakshuka, along with coffee, a matcha latte and orange juice. Firstly, the English breakfast was outstandingly good and of excellent quality. The beans were a homemade mix and the sausages were clearly local. The Shakshuka was also presented beautifully and tasted delicious. The drinks were great too. The staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was lovely and it was all reasonably priced. I would definitely come back here!

10/10 would recommend to a friend. Ate here last night and the food was incredible. There was 6 of us and we went pure feral and ordered pretty much everything off the menu between us and we regret absolutely nothing. Every dish was packed full of flavour and beautifully presented. Solid cocktails... winner. The front of house team were confident knowledgable and very friendly. Solid team effort and they smashed it. Looking forward to trying out their brunch menu. I’m going to be a regular…take my money.

I had a excellent sunday brunch here. The food was outstanding, staff was friendly and helpful. Best english breakfast I've ever had. Egg Benedict seemed a little bit sour for me. Will come back to eat sunday roast (served from 1pm) WC is clean and tidy

Had a lovely family meal here last Monday evening. It was steak night so a few of us took advantage of that (2 delicious steaks plus a bottle of decent house wine for £50). Camembert, fish soup, duck & the Moules special were also devoured! Everybody enjoyed their meals (and drinks!) thoroughly and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Whilst it was sad to see that Para Picar, the restaurant that was previously in this location had closed, the good news is that an equally impressive French cafe and bistro has taken its place. The staff were friendly and welcoming, served great coffee, and the food was delicious and well cooked. Both meals we had were fantastic, with the spicy Moroccan breakfast being particularly ideal for a cold and damp winter's morning. We'll definitely look to return if in the area again to sample the dinner menu that looked fantastic.

What a lovely place! Such great interior, food was 5star! All home cooked good French food! The atmosphere was lovely and we will be returning again and again! Our new favourite place! We had 3 courses each all amazing! Well worth the money! Very fairly priced overall a top restaurant, chef and staff!

A lovely underrated gem in Bingley! Excellent value for money and delicious food. I visited for the first time today and was very satisfied with the food and drink! The Goan fish curry was one of the best I have had. Will certainly visit again!

Booth saw this real ale outlet also offers Indian Street Food to eat in or take away. Oddly I was in Traders, Marple , last week and that was the first time I had seen this combination. Five real ales. Great selection including a Bingley brewery ginger stout but at 5.8% too strong for me. Had a Wishbone Brewery Tiller 4.2% Pale Ale instead. Excellent pint. Ordered chicken tikka and chicken pakora as well. Both generous portios, pipping hot and tastey. Booth noticed Lal Toofan lager on tap..a first so he tried that as well. Super find by Bingley train station and Bingley bus station. The bar has two departure boards so easy to time your beer and make your train or bus. A second room is more of a dining room.

I've been a few times now and their curry is amazing. Limited menu which is a good thing because what you get is really nice authentic Indian food. I had the onion pakora and the lamb curry and it was cooked to perfection. Good food with good company and a few drinks made it the perfect evening. The staff are very friendly and look after you.

Always handy to know a good 🚂 station local that opens at 12 noon on a Saturday. A fine collection of cask ales including the Fractal Pale which is brewed locally. Unfortunately no time to try the Indian Street Food today. Great service from the friendly barman who seems to be as passionate about the beers as we are 👍🏻

Valentinos is quite a nice restaurant . Excellent starter the anti pasta and prawn cocktail . The rack of lamb was very tasty but the sauce was more like a thick gravy . Excellent calzone and cannelloni. The service is always attentive without being over the top . When in Bingley I recommend a visit to Valentinos .

Had a lovely meal with my sister and elderly parents last night, great atmosphere we never felt rushed even though we were just having mains and a glass of wine. Food was excellent and very reasonable especially as our parents were paying 😀 if I had to find anything to be unhappy about and it was more for my sister, who is celiac there wasn't any gluten free bread and she had to watch us 3 devour a basket of the most divine Italian bread.

Visited on Saturday 22nd July 2023 - friendly attentive staff - food was very good. Really enjoyed the ribs for my starter and the lasagna was highly rated - nice wine selection - bill came to £71. Tipped £14. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you RECOMMEND

We came here on holiday and wanted a find dinning experience, and we got it! The food was spectacular and good value. Thank u guys it made our holiday eating at your restaurant! Absolutely fabulous!

This was our first time visiting the Sizzling Lounge. We were visiting Yorkshire for a family birthday and 9 of us attended for dinner. The atmosphere is lovely bright and clean with plenty of space around the table which was lovely. The tables were a good size for all the dishes too. The manager was fantastic, I was genuinely struggling to select my meal so I asked the manager for his recommendations and I was not disappointed! The food was plentiful and delicious. Best Indian I have had in a long time. The staff also came to our table with cake and an indoor firework and sang happy birthday for my mum. Overall the experience was great and I'm looking forward to returning on our next visit. Thank you

Can't say enough of the service and amazing food. The pint of cobra off the tap in a beautiful glass was really something! The Argentine Malbec is a great choice if you like a mouth filling smooth red. The special dish fired in brandy is something to behold and the flavors omg. We weren't expecting a curry this early in the trip but weather drew us across the road from the mooring just below Bingley 3 rise to save getting g too wet. The rating was already right up there but not high enough for us. A fabulous feed and lovely folk. Get into it! J n K from New Zealand

Saw the reviews and had to try, so glad I came. Service is quick and authentic. The food high quality and freshly cooked with the best flavours. The owner is around taking great pride and passion in his work which truly shows. Already looking forward to my next visit

Recommended 100 percent. Table service equally as good as the food itself. Shared the evening with the family. Dishes were freshly cooked to perfection. We have shared with each other and I could not fault any . We did not have such good curries in a long time. Fabulous.Will be back soon.

We came here as a family on a beautiful sunny day and we were not disappointed! The view was absolutely amazing from this pub and the food and drinks were equally as nice! Great place to come for a family meal and a bonus if you get to sit outside for a drink on a sunny day. For starters we shared the scotch egg, halloumi fries and chorizo sausage bites, they were all delicious washed down with my cocktail sat in the beer garden. For mains we both ordered the pan roasted lamb which was absolutely delicious and being a big lamb lover, I would find it hard to return and not order this again!! Our son ordered chicken nuggets and chips, surprise surprise, which he enjoyed. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding which is ALWAYS a winner in my eyes! My son ordered the trio of ice cream which was quickly devoured and my partner had the double chocolate brownie which he also swiftly polished off. The staff were friendly and the cocktails were good. I also much preferred our visit here to the Cow and Calf pub in Ilkley which is also a Vintage Inns pub with a very similar menu ( see my other post for that review on that ). We will definitely be returning at some point. I revisited today after a previous visit on Monday 20th January . I chose to dine in rather than just have just a drink. The staff were friendly and helpful my drink (passion fruit cooler) was experly made by the bar lady and tasted amazing. On to the meal, the garlic mushroom starter was delicious, i thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Then came the main course, the rib eye steak with gravy, grilled tomatoes, chips and onion ring. Each bite was delightful, perfectly season and cooked to perfection. Finally there was the double chocolate brownie, topped with ice cream and chocolate sauce. It was like a miniature work of art, decadently delicious with every bite. Its safe to say that my visit was a resounding success and i'd rate the food and drink as a 10 out of 10. I will definitely visit again in the future.

Amazing lunch today! Food quality was of a very high standard, but HUGE portions so was unable to finish, but my god it was good! Nicola, our server, was a very cheerful and tentative, showing interest in us and no requests seemed to be an issue! Our table was nice and tucked away, giving us a proper little couples lunch, which we loved.... And it was dog friendly, so Cooper had a good day out and was supplied free snacks and water! Happy dog, happy house! All round, 5 out of 5! We will be dining there again and highly recommend!

My partner, myself and our little pooch stopped in for a meal this evening. We were greeted by Nicola who showed us to our table which was right next to the open fire. The food was served promptly and was delicious. Nicola was fantastic!, very friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble for her! We will definitely be returning!

WOW!! Sadly didn’t take photos but Highly recommend anyone to go to the white horse!! Food was the best pie I’ve had for a very long time. Staff exceptionally friendly, the Lager was crisp and we will without doubt be visiting again! Absolutely outstanding

This ancient pub is now a brasserie but you can come in for drinks only with limited drinkers space in the bar area. A lovely interior. Booth told me to have Ossett brewery White Rat, one of two real ales. T'other being Black Sheep. Busy food trade at 5.15 on a Saturday. Large rear beer garden/courtyard for drinkers and families overlooking the river Aire. Probably less popular in bad weather but perfect on a good evening.

Love a dog friendly pub and one that has a Pie Chart 🥧 - Genius!! Pie’s are award winning with beautifully cooked veg that you choose from!!!

My friends and I visited the Old Glen House the first night I arrived in Leeds (I live in the US). The steak and ale pie was amazing, as was the apple/rhubarb dessert!!! (Truly the best beef pie I've ever had). We then travelled all the way to the Scottish Highlands for a week, eating at pubs and restaurants along the way. Out of our entire trip, The Old Glen House was the best food and had our favorite employees. They made us feel welcome in their home. I highly recommend the pies as well as the chicken burgers (My friend said it was the best he's ever eaten). Go to the Old Glen House! And while you're there, stroll down to the Old Glen in the woods just behind it. It's beautiful.

I called for a quiet pot of tea and to sit work out some directions to a place in Baildon that I was travelling to. I was delighted to be helped by the bar person, and a customer with his dog, to find my destination.. A lovely friendly pub, I'll go back another day without my van and have a beer. Thankyou

This is a local pub for us, as baildon residents. It's on its own out the village centre, which is perfect after maybe a walk on the Moor tops, or the Glen etc. Ideal stopping point. They often have entertainment on, they invite regular street food caterers as an ongoing theme, which are great. Staff always welcoming, and nice selection of ales and the usual! We have dropped in quite a bit since we've lived in baildon and would recommend to others, wether it's just opportunistic or your a resident too.

Was up here for the Saltaire Festival, and this pub was just across the river. It's in an awesome location situated right next to the river and across from a field. Has a lovely outside area with plenty of seating. Staff were friendly and it has a good selection of drinks. They do sell food but I didn't eat here. It does have a little bit of the "chain pub" feel which i am not too keen on but that's more of a personal preference. I would come here more often if I lived in the area if for nothing else than the lovely sound of running water outside from a small nearby waterfall.

A really nice pub with great view on the river. I loved the fact you could sit under the tree shade, inside or stand by the river. Great coffee! I was a bit sceptical, but was amazed with the coffee Josh made :)

Nice restaurant on the water with tasty food and great views. The steak sandwich was delicious!

A nice pub restaurant. Busy early evening on a Friday but quieter as evening went on. The food was great especially the steak, chips a little overdone but ok. Good choice of dessert. Gluten free and vegan options. Service was excellent.
