Very friendly Italian restaurant. We were a large group and the waiters were endlessly patient with our orders and everyone paying individually. They were intrigued by our Secret Santa and book exchange games and were efficient with drinks and dessert orders that were not on the pre-order. Food was tasty and beer was cold...what more could we ask for. I will definitely visit again and bring friends and family. Thank you.

I brought my wife here for date night. She lives for italian cuisine and we had just that week got back from a fortnight tour in Italy for our honeymoon. I took a punt on a new reastaurant and it paid off. After the closure of Dos Amigos i was looking forward to, but not holding my breath about what would replace it. All I can say is what an absolute gem this restaurant is, there are many Italian restaurants in Leeds but after visiting, this is a go to spot around my local area. Hospitality first; the staff are so welcoming and really attentive. I am generally not one to pick on service, but I can really appreciate when it's amazing. The staff here ARE amazing, friendly and make your meal special. The food, is incredible. The quality of the produce is night and day to most italian places in leeds at this pricepoint. I was humbled, I'm not a salmon guy but the way Le Grande cook theirs, and now I am. In our order we had: Caprese Salad The mixed seafood platter Garlic pizza Tomato and onion salad Tiramasu Bottle of wine. Welcome La grande to the kirkstall area and may you thrive.

We had a fantastic experience at Arusuvai Leeds! Every dish was bursting with authentic Tamil Nadu flavours, bringing back cherished memories of childhood meals. The food was fresh, beautifully cooked, and truly traditional. A special shoutout to the chef and Aruna at the front of house, who made us feel so welcome. They were warm, attentive, and even recommended some incredible dishes that we might not have chosen otherwise. If you're after a proper taste of South India in Leeds, this is the place to go. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back.

It was an excellent dining experience at Arusuvai on 15th Jan, got to taste their exotic dishes which were filled with Indian flavours and was so authentic. Staff were very friendly and ambience is excellent. Highly recommend Arusuvai, would defo go again whenever I crave Indian 😊 food

Delicious Yemeni chicken mindhi and tasty veggie curry and the Yemeni gracious and humble service. Place was filled with Yemeni people eating so a good sign of good food original tasting food. While sitting there saw many large take out trays leaving the place. It’s a small place but nice. Try to get there before 7 on Friday nights if you want mindhi meat otherwise there’s a good chance they’ll run out. They have a traditional private Yemeni family room great for a large family to eat in. Also used as a prayer room. Tried to give a tip but they wouldn’t except it totally refused.

Delicious traditional Yemeni meals and desserts cooked fresh to order, in very big portions. Very helpful service on which options to choose from as a vegetarian, but I'd say its mostly geared for meat-eaters (particularly if you like Lamb). I returned here as a meat-eater (after being Vegetarian for 3 years) before leaving Leeds for their Maandi Lamb. Has to be the best lamb dish I have EVER had. I haven't seen their kitchen but I'm pretty sure they use the traditional method of an underground oven or something alike to make the lamb slide off the bone. Spices were amazing.

Tareem's Kitchen in Leeds offers a cozy slice of Yemen with authentic dishes like the well-loved Mandi Lamb and lamb Haneed meal. Though tucked away in a less bustling location, the flavors and warm service make it a worthy find. A hidden gem for true Yemeni cuisine lovers.

First time, booked birthday lunch 10 adults 3 kids. Atmosphere good, one issue background speaker in roof to loud, found conversation difficult. Staff very helpful and friendly 10 out of 10. Unsure if large party was issue because we all said food warm to cold. This did put a damper on the occasion. May have to return just the two of us try again see if better.

It's been a few months since we visited but I thought I'd better get round to posting a review as we had a very good experience. I have somewhat complicated dietary restrictions which they catered to very well, and overall the food and service was very good. The service was polite, friendly & attentive without being overbearing, and the food was really tasty, we had quite a range of dishes between 6 of us and all left satisfied! Edited to original review: we have since visited 2 more times, and I remain impressed by the quality of the food, the service, and their willingness to cater to my food intolerances.

Best lamb (starter) and pork (main) I've ever eaten. All of us had an incredible meal with top tier service from Simon and the rest of the staff. Absolute bargain for the quality we received. I think everyone in Leeds should eat here at least once and we will be back!

We missed the breakfast menu by 20 minutes, we wanted the Trio. So I ordered the breakfast stack and the other half the Reuben sandwich. The stack was really good, breakfast with some different flavours, a little spice and jammy sweetness. The fries were crispy, excellent. The Reuben was meant to have corned beef and beef. It seemed to be just pastrami, but she enjoyed it anyway. Good food, friendly service. We made breakfast this time! They don't have eggs trio on the menu anymore but they kindly did a player for us for £17. I had the traditional, very nice.

Fabulous little Cuban restaurant. It was busy so book a table if you are going at peak time. Decor was in character. Lovely selection of tapas dishes. We chose 2 mains, a veg, potato and rice and it was plenty for 2. Alhambra beer on draught is good. Waitresses were there when we needed them. We would definitely go again.

Nice little spot, lovely atmosphere inside. Large food portions for the price although some dishes weren’t the best quality. Some staff were lovely but the management/hosts made us feel slightly unwelcome and rushed as a table of 6. Good spot overall for a casual meal out.

Fantastic place to eat. The service was exceptionally good and the food was beautiful as always. We ordered far too much as usual but it was all placed in containers for us to take home after. Would highly recommended if you like tapas.

Delicious food, i highly recommend this place, such a cosy and intimate place to dine and the beautiful and traditional interiors takes you right back to old times in Persia ! The kebab barg is very tasty especially with some added sumac! Staff are very friendly and service is quick. You can park your car on the opposite side of the road.

Delicious Persian food, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated with nostalgic designs 🤗 I fell in love with their copper made dishes and trays 😅 I especially enjoyed the tea (we tried their cardamom tea, but the Irooni tea also seemed very tempting, will try that one next time 😋)

Our first ever visit as a family! Such a cute, homely and welcoming place! Wonderful and delicious food, with a touch of authentic class (like you were abroad)! The interior design was perfect and created a beautiful backdrop. Cosy seating with thought out design for privacy of each table! The staff were polite and friendly, service was so fast! The hummus with naan, as starter, and mains was House Mixed Grill for two. Finished with Persian tea with mint leaves and candy sugar sweet treat! So tasty! Highly recommended and very nice overall night out!

Now this is a hidden gem. Stumbled across Archive and wow what a place. Yummy coffee with comprehensive cold and food options in the cafe area, all set in pleasant surroundings. Staff are really friendly too. Then you walk through a doorway to a massive entertainment area with lots of seating and tables with a massive screen and projector one end of the large room. Also has a full bar available in this room too. Super cool place to work from in the day using their wifi or attending one of their many hosted events in the evenings. I’ve posted some photos of the place and also the amazing and yummy food and coffee. 😎👍

I booked Archive for my 40th Birthday party and couldn't have been happier with how it went. A massive massive thank you to all the staff at Archive. Jay and Victoria were super helpful with the set up, as well as being on hand during the evening. We ordered pizza's for our guests which were absolutely delicious and also catered for some pretty specific dietary requirements. So many of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was, the fairy lights and disco ball created a really great atmosphere and we also made use of their projector and staging. From a practical point of view, this is also a great space for accessibility which was a real plus for inviting everyone we wanted. Highly recommend!

We hosted a retirement party for 70 + guests. The Archive team were outstanding. Excellent communication prior to event. Good value food and drink options. Really helpful staff all the way through from bar staff, events manager and general manager. Thanks very much Archive team.

The food was really amazing and the quantity is large. So do try the place. Has great interior and has a nice vibe. The staffs are friendly too.

Christmas Day lunch was brilliant, couldn’t fault it. Always trepidatious about going out for dinner at Christmas but we had no reason to be this year. The food was top tier and there was enough of it to feed a small army, all fresh and tasty and seasoned beautifully. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely stunning and we brought the cheese board home to dig into later. The service was personable as always and unlike a lot of places on Christmas Day, we didn’t feel rushed or an inconvenience. Even the pooch got her own meal! 10/10 would go again over the festive season. Massive props and thanks to all the staff, the entire experience was faultless and you all did a fantastic job ☺️

Came here for food after calling in previously. Food was amazing!! Huge portion sizes and brilliant value. We even ordered a sharing platter not realising how huge it would be... but amazing food will deffo be coming back

An outstanding restaurant with very delicious food. Had dum biriyani, which was flavourful and generously portioned, the crispy and flaky bread on top was a standout feature. The drinks desserts are also great. The interior design, service and atmosphere is also very nice.

We came here for the 1st time to join my brother in laws 60th birthday party. I had the chicken tikka Masala which was very nice, my husband had mushroom omelette and chips as he does not like indian food. There is parking near by. The staff are very friendly and will accommodated your dietary needs.
