If you want real wood fire traditional awesome pizza look no further! This is a gem of a place. Great good, great staff and great choice of booze too! Honestly it is really well priced and can't speak highly of WFD! If you are tall (careful on the toilet roof). 😉 - still the best Pizza in Leeds - in fact the UK!!!

If calsberg made pizzeria’s !! Absolutely fantastic, by far the best pizzas for miles around. Great staff, very polite, helpful, happy and makes you feel like a valued customer. Prices are good, I haven’t been anywhere that can make pizza this delicious. I won’t use anywhere else from now on !!

Excellent pizzas in a relaxed, chilled out setting. There's a small selection of starters and a great range of Italian, New York style and Calzone pizzas. Prices are reasonable and food is really good quality. Tucked away on Rothwell high street, it's really easy to miss as the restaurant and an actually upstairs.

Everything you could possibly want from a pizza place, cool setting, perfect pizzas and reasonable prices. The food came really quickly and was so fresh and delicious, the service was also super attentive! Definitely recommend!

Went for lunch with my children and it was just perfect. There was no kids meals specifically but they were able to split a main meal into two which worked perfectly. The food quality was lovely and the service was great. I must say that the decor is to an extremely high standard and gives the place a real quality feel. Would definitely recommend! 5*

It would be hard to find fault with this excellent restaurant. Outstanding Mediterranean cuisine, not one of our party of ten, had anything but praise for the meal. Considering the size of our table, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were attentive and so friendly. The menu offered such a wide choice of both starters and mains, all of which sounded so nice that I had trouble deciding. I was not disappointed with my choice of a grilled Camenbert with honey to start, and main course of Lamb Chops. Both dishes were outstanding. I'm certainly looking to return in the very near future to try other delights from the menu. The prices make it possible to indulge yourself, and perhaps a friend, without costing you a fortune. Called in for a cocktail after a meal out in Leeds. Lovely chilled out atmosphere and the cocktails are top notch. A great bar to have within a few minutes walk of home.

Lovely bar and great atmosphere. Different range of cocktails, and if not on menu always happy to make if they can. Plus can go before food over the road.

Best chippy for miles. Fish is always cooked to perfection and it's good value for money too.

Fantastic fish n Chips. One of the best things was when they opened bang on 11.30. I didn't have to order fish. It was already cooked. We sat outside in the van to eat ours and watched a few customers walk in, and they were served and out under 10 mins. Fantastic setup . Merry Christmas.

Genuinely the best fish and chips I’ve had this year! Don’t let the fair and sensible price make you think it’s anything other than top class! I will be recommending to family & friends! I honestly couldn’t fault Grays. We’ve been there many times and even though they’re so busy, they are always so accommodating and you can tell the staff enjoy being there and create such a positive environment. We booked a surprise baby shower and not only were the staff helpful, response, and attentive, they helped us pull off the surprise. Honestly could not recommend them enough for breakfast, brunch, lunch, event needs, and amazing coffee and food. 10/10.

We are lucky to have this great independent cafe locally. The food is always fresh and delicious. They have vegan and veg options, and are always willing to try and adjust things if you ask too. The children's menu is really good too and has more than one option for a vegetarian child which is rare and very appreciated. And it's dog friendly too. What more could we ask? We love it here.

Excellent place for a range of options… • coffee is very good and usually go here after Park Run • great selection of breakfast and specials - have regularly eaten here on weekends • afternoon tea. This was the most recent visit to collect an afternoon tea for a baby shower I had planned, couldn’t fault it. Cake selection and sandwiches were amazing. Heather the owner is first class in terms of friendliness and service, highly recommend you visit here. Dog friendly - plus does a good loyalty card scheme too!

Came here for afternoon tea with my mum for an early birthday treat last week. Staff couldn’t be more on hand offering us more drinks. Food was absolutely delicious. Drinks were lovely. Atmosphere was nice and calm. Staff so helpful! Can’t wait to come and try a breakfast! They also sell a lot of Leeds United gifts and other gifts too so worth a look whilst you’re there. Lots of tasty treats and cakes too.

Lovely food and really friendly, lovely staff. Popped in on a dog walk and couldn’t have been met with lovelier ladies. All made fresh while I waited and they even popped a little treat in for the dog. Thank you so much, we’ll definitely be back!

Visiting family in the area and pre ordered some breakfast and collected. Breakfast baps were delicious bacon, eggs and sausages cooked to perfection.

Spotted this as I was driving by to a children’s play den. Hadn’t eaten and was going to have a nibble there but I’m a sucker for anything Greek so gave it a try. Had a quick chicken gyros wrap which was a great price point for the portion I got. The food is quality and fresh and really authentic! Couldn’t as for nicer people either. Glad to know about this and will be back for sure!

Firstly love you can order over the phone & pay cash. Only had to wait 10 minutes for food which is obviously a decent wait time. I absolutely LOVED the chicken gyros box (a little pricy) fully worth it. The portion sizes are huge. They give you tzatziki and sauce honestly the best I’ve had outside of Greece. I’ve been visiting Greece for 25 years and honestly it was the best I’ve had outside of Greece and I’ve tried a few places now. Would really recommend trying Yiros out. Also love the fact they have Loux. Only thing they’re really missing is Fix beer! 😅 Will definitely be going again! Thank you 🙏🏻

Excellent meal and service here. All five in our group had different main courses and all were excellent; local produce, good portion sizes, and served hot! The fish pie was full of chunky fresh fish and seafood. Would recommend for a family meal out!

Homely warm atmosphere. Outstanding quality food & drinks. Regular live events & seasonal/cultural celebrations (food festivals, bonfire celebrations etc... Dog friendly. Amazing in the summer on the open terrace sun trap with some antipasti or fresh mini loaf bread with olive oil & balsamic for dipping and a cocktail, Aperol Spritz or a G&T. Equally nothing better than an autumnal or winter stroll through the trails around Methley, then to The Boundary House, to dream your afternoon away relaxing with a Guinness in front of the open log burning fire.

My first visit and have to say it was beautiful. Beef bourguignon was amazing as was the venison pie. Both came with the best mash I’ve ever had. Service was outstanding. All our table was happy with their choices. We were so full after main courses so couldn’t manage a dessert but will definitely book again. 👍

Upmarket country pub with a decent selection of 3-4 rotating hand pulled ales. We've dined here many times and have had varying experiences but our latest meal was very good. Prices are on the high side for pub food but generally the quality of the dishes reflect the higher cost. The scotch egg was average but the pie was outstanding as was the pork.

Had a lovely afternoon dinner here today, the dog friendly pub allowed our 12 week old Pup inside too. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere as always. We had some soup starters with bread, children’s meals also came out too. Mains shortly followed not long after, we even fit in some desserts. Food was lovely and the friendly staff made for a nice few hours out at a local pub. The spacious pub also has plenty of tables outside for the warmer months and a beer garden at the rear. Will definitely return with the pup and maybe not the kids

I needed a venue to hold my birthday party and, after attending a friend's party at The Two Pointers, I chose to have mine there too. I cannot praise Viv and the team highly enough. I had some specific requests and they not only met them but exceeded them. All staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food looked amazing and tasted delicious. One friend has to have gluten free food and she said she'd never had so much choice before. Everyone at my party said the same as me ... that The Two Pointers did me proud! Great looking food and great staff... Came here to do some work.. The music was excellent found myself toe tapping to most tunes.. The food coming out the kitchen looked very inviting and the staff here are lively and very friendly. Customers were enjoying the nice weather and having a great time... The atmosphere was fantastic for early afternoon.. Great outside spaces both back and front with a large free carpark. Pool table, Darts and an outside bar football table in addition to live sports on the Multiple screens... This makes The Two Pointers a Great place to socialise and enjoy the weather.. 😎

1st visit here for the quiz, but ordered food too. Great atmosphere, Friendly, welcoming staff. Plenty of space inside & out for dining. Got busier as the evening went on. Big car park at the rear of pub. Cozy feel inside, very dog friendly ( for once I didn't bring my dog either) Food served efficiently & was great. *Tomato & Basil soup* *Fish & Chips*

I was dubious about staying here after reading the reviews but I was pretty impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful. The staff are all very nice. I wasnt aware of the £50 deposit I had to pay on arrival however, so I think this should be made clearer. The champagne bar is lovely. The room I stayed in was gorgeous with a very comfy bed. The fridge kept making a loud tapping noise though. Pool was very small and quite crowded. It was also very cold so could definitely benefit from being heated up. The jacuzzi was cold too. The best part was the sauna where you can warm up! Showers are clean but there was no shower gel left. I ate in the restaurant where the food was nice but didn't reckon much to the wine, and at £10 a glass I've had nicer supermarket ones. Breakfast was good but I wasn't impressed that there were no veggie sausages out, and I had to ask for oat milk for the cereal which should have been already out really. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would go there again.

We had a good stay on a voucher at Oulton. The staff were absolutely brilliant and really attentive. We really enjoyed our evening meal with the dine in for 32 offer. The spa we felt quite small so quite akward to use when busy. We got upgraded to a superior and I would massively recommend this if you can afford it- makes a big difference to the stay. Thank you to the lady who sorted our room change : ) Prices are expensive - but the eat in for 32 deal that we had on our voucher deal made it worth it. We would stay on a voucher again.

We recently stayed at Oulton Hall and had a lovely experience. Upon arrival, the reception staff were incredibly welcoming and kindly offered us an additional hour for check-out, which was much appreciated. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully maintained, and the combination of historic charm and modern touches within the property added to the overall experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the leisure facilities, including a relaxing swim, sauna, and jacuzzi – the perfect way to unwind. These facilities were conveniently located just next door to where we stayed, which made it even more enjoyable. Breakfast was spot on, with great quality food and a good variety. However, the hot selection could have been a bit more extensive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Oulton Hall for its excellent service, stunning surroundings, and relaxing atmosphere.
