After reading so many positive reviews, we had to try Norman's. However, trying to book a convenient date and time wasn't easy as it is so popular. Eventually booked and visited yesterday evening and we were so glad. It lived up to its excellent reputation, amazing food, first class service and a relaxed, warm ambience. It's currently the number one restaurant on TripAdvisor for Huddersfield and it's certainly worthy of this position. Definitely a venue for repeat visits.

Wonderful meal! A real treat for foodies looking for well-curated and unique dishes. We especially loved the stone bass (expertly cooked) and mackerel tart nibbles. The staff were all lovely and helpful, attentive without being overly so. Perfectly-sized place too. Would love to come again soon and try the new menu rotation!

We had been wanting to try Norman's for sometime and decided my Wife's 50th was the perfect opportunity. We visited on Friday 3rd Jan '25, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table. The food arrives Tapas style and honestly we couldn't decide which was our favourite. Great food, great cocktails but what really stands out is the service! Would thoroughly recommend it!

Went for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Staff are really pleasant and accommodating, service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Decent range of options to choose from, could have ordered all of it! Really unique flavours and dishes that tasted amazing. Got a free birthday drink on arrival too! Will definitely go back.

Fabulous birthday lunch. Staff were super friendly. Food was amazing. Great selection and really difficult to choose as wanted to try everything. We’ll definitely look to return soon. The only thing to make Norman’s even better would be a couple more veggie options.

We took our little niece for a Friday, early night tea as a treat. It was the first time in the place and won’t be the last. The staff were really lovely and seemed to be authentic in wanting to know how the food was, or if we needed anything else. I’ve been to places where serving customers looked like a chore for the staff; it’s certainly not the case at this restaurant. We loved the open kitchen and the chef came out to check on everything too. Nice touch. We had the platter starter which was really delicious. Our curries were gorgeous also. There was plenty of food and for a good price. I’d heartily recommend. Thank you all for your hard work.

Millennium Dine is one of those rare gems I keep coming back to. The ambiance is absolutely captivating, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in. The service is exceptional, especially when dining with young children—attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The restaurant is spotless, and I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the restrooms. As for the food, it truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors are perfectly balanced with a great mix of spices, and the portions are generous. I wholeheartedly wish Millennium Dine continued success and look forward to many more visits.

It was fantastic experience. The Millennium Platter was outstanding—an incredible mix of flavors and dishes that were both fresh and expertly prepared. The Curry Keema Buna was a standout, with a distinct Bangladeshi flavor that made it especially memorable. The rich, spiced minced meat was delicious and authentic. Last month, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Millennium Dine Restaurant. The experience was incredible! The restaurant has been beautifully redecorated, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The staff was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. We even had the chance to chat with the restaurant owner, who is highly educated and visionary. I have no doubt that this restaurant will excel soon. I can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommended!

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

What an amazing place. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was delicious, well presented and came in very generous portions.The roast beef I had was lovely and tender. We have visited this restaurant more than any other since they opened in 2019 and the standards have always been high (in fact I think they get better!). The food is modern British cuisine using locally sourced seasonal ingredients and the flavours on offer are bold and delicious. The Sunday Lunch menu is a real highlight with 3 courses for £30 featuring a selection of Roast Dinners that are hard to beat. The Brunch menu is really varied with your traditional Full English, Eggs Benedicts, Avo on Toast as well as some new additions like Savoury Crepes and Pancake Stacks for the sweet tooths- you can also go bottomless with some refreshing Mimosas and Bellinis. The standard A La Carte has some fantastic options too- a decent list of small plates if you fancy tapas style as well as some gorgeous main course dishes to suit every palate. The signature Steak and Ale Pie is not to be missed and has been consistently good since day one! As we approach summer do not skip their stunning secret garden which on a sunny day makes you forget you are in Huddersfield- our favourite place to relax with great food and drinks. Talking of drinks, the wine list is extensive and they have picked some truly fabulous wines to pair with the food. There is also a cocktail list as well as local beers. Steve and Helen do an amazing job at running the best restaurant in Huddersfield- we highly recommend a visit but be warned you will keep going back for more

Went to The Barn for the first time tonight with a group of friends. We were so impressed. Lovely quirky little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Ben and the team are so lovely and welcoming and the service was spot on. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had prawns to start - sublime. Then steak - perfection with a sauce that was so moorish I could have eaten a whole bowl of it on its own. To finish- churros- served hot and crisp with a dusting of sugar and cinnamon and a warm dipping chocolate - just divine. The rest of our party had goats cheese salads and chicken taco starters, followed by either steaks or sea bass. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be going back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was thinking of going to the Batley branch but then was recommended to go to the Huddersfield one instead as I was driving past and became curious. The location is spot on and there's dedicated parking for customers at the back as the building seems to be an ex pub. Th decor inside is welcoming and the staff are very friendly. During our dining experience the staff kept on asking if everything was OK with the food and even before we left the Manager wanted feedback and I gave him my honest opinion. I am not a big fan of beef steaks but I like my chicken fillet burgers. I ordered a Big Daddy burger, Angus beef burger and 2 chicken steak meals for the family. Portions were decent but I was disappointed with the chicken burger I ordered. It was a chicken fillet burger, with pulled lamb and hash brown. It seemed a bit dry inside so I had to use a lot of mayonnaise and chilli sauce that they already have on all the tables. The size of the chicken fillet wasn't very big and did not fill me up for a £9.99 burger. My daughter did enjoy the Angus beef burger though. The feedback from my family for the chicken steak meal was that it was just simple and did not pack any flavours although the mushroom and pepper corn sauce was nice. I know it sounds critical but just being honest as I have had better chicken steaks and fillets from other places. We also ordered some cheesy nachos but were expecting a cheese sauce all over but instead just got melted grated cheese which was disappointing. We did feed this back to the staff and they did take it on board. We loved the location as there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere was very family friendly. I would recommend others to try for themselves as it's worth visiting but the wow factor on this occasion wasn't there for me.

I came here with my family of 5 and I have to say I was very impressed with the setting and environment. Very friendly staff. The vibes I got straight away was a very comfortable and great atmosphere. The service was perfect and gave me enough time to order without any pressure. We ordered lovely food and the chicken steaks were cooked to perfection. No complaint there whatsoever, the taste was first class no doubt. The sauces were not too thick and not too runny then many restaurants I have tried. It was perfect and very rich in taste. You have to try the spicy sauce it is so rich in flavour and to mention top quality food you will recieve here and the mojitas each one has such nice flavour and very refreshing. The chai was the highlight then most places I have been to and this was so far the best 👌 I would highly recommend this diner for any occasion. You try it once and trust me you will crave it again and again. I honestly am not much of a reviewer but this restaurant is worth every praise. Thank you for your hospitality and amazing cuisine to all staff.

The photo below is how much was left from my Ribeye steak! The Angus beef was splendid! The menu is simple, and the order is quick (15mnts from order and we had our steak on our table!). Steak comes with 3 sides, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is really nice (decorated like a true western steakhouse, nice nod to fistful of dollars in the toilet ;)

Honestly the best Thai food I’ve had since visiting Thailand a few years ago. In all honesty it’s the best takeaway I’ve had in years. Generous portions, loads of dips added and freshly made! Bonus of the owners being really friendly. Can’t ask for a better takeaway and will definitely be coming back for more.

A great place for Sunday lunch. Not as crammed as some nearby places, so we didn't feel "hemmed in". Nice to see a proper pub area where people could simply go for a few pints. A very friendly dog, too.
