Wow! What a night! Thanks to the staff who looked after us, or put up with us depending on your viewpoint! The food was exquisite, we will defo be back!

Went to The Barn for the first time tonight with a group of friends. We were so impressed. Lovely quirky little restaurant with a great atmosphere. Ben and the team are so lovely and welcoming and the service was spot on. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had prawns to start - sublime. Then steak - perfection with a sauce that was so moorish I could have eaten a whole bowl of it on its own. To finish- churros- served hot and crisp with a dusting of sugar and cinnamon and a warm dipping chocolate - just divine. The rest of our party had goats cheese salads and chicken taco starters, followed by either steaks or sea bass. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will definitely be going back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fabulous birthday lunch. Staff were super friendly. Food was amazing. Great selection and really difficult to choose as wanted to try everything. We’ll definitely look to return soon. The only thing to make Norman’s even better would be a couple more veggie options.

Went for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Staff are really pleasant and accommodating, service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Decent range of options to choose from, could have ordered all of it! Really unique flavours and dishes that tasted amazing. Got a free birthday drink on arrival too! Will definitely go back.

Wonderful meal! A real treat for foodies looking for well-curated and unique dishes. We especially loved the stone bass (expertly cooked) and mackerel tart nibbles. The staff were all lovely and helpful, attentive without being overly so. Perfectly-sized place too. Would love to come again soon and try the new menu rotation!

After reading so many positive reviews, we had to try Norman's. However, trying to book a convenient date and time wasn't easy as it is so popular. Eventually booked and visited yesterday evening and we were so glad. It lived up to its excellent reputation, amazing food, first class service and a relaxed, warm ambience. It's currently the number one restaurant on TripAdvisor for Huddersfield and it's certainly worthy of this position. Definitely a venue for repeat visits.

I believe The Scullery is the best restaurant in Huddersfield. I have now been 4 times, including for an anniversary dinner and even once just to have a sit down and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere with a glass of mulled wine. The homemade food is always stunning, made with fresh and seasonal ingredients (they change their menu to fit the season because they use local products). I love their fish dishes and the second time I went I had the most amazing soup. The service is good and staff always do their best to accommodate even on busy days. I could not praise this place enough, absolutely love the food. The Scullery is a hidden gem and I will come again!!

What an amazing place. The staff were very helpful, friendly and responsive. The food was delicious, well presented and came in very generous portions.The roast beef I had was lovely and tender. Good choice of drinks, next time I might try a cocktail as they sound great. I can tell they really care about cleanliness too.

We had a family meal last night ( Saturday 21st Dec) and just had to write this review. It was absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious and it all came out perfect. The service was incredible, all the staff were so friendly and very attentive. A credit to them all… The owner ( Steve I think) was such a lovely man within the hospitality sector. We will all be definitely coming back to this beautiful restaurant in the near future. Highly recommended..

Last month, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Millennium Dine Restaurant. The experience was incredible! The restaurant has been beautifully redecorated, creating a fresh and inviting atmosphere. The staff was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. We even had the chance to chat with the restaurant owner, who is highly educated and visionary. I have no doubt that this restaurant will excel soon. I can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommended!

Millennium Dine is one of those rare gems I keep coming back to. The ambiance is absolutely captivating, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step in. The service is exceptional, especially when dining with young children—attentive and friendly throughout our visit. The restaurant is spotless, and I was especially impressed by the cleanliness of the restrooms. As for the food, it truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors are perfectly balanced with a great mix of spices, and the portions are generous. I wholeheartedly wish Millennium Dine continued success and look forward to many more visits.

It was fantastic experience. The Millennium Platter was outstanding—an incredible mix of flavors and dishes that were both fresh and expertly prepared. The Curry Keema Buna was a standout, with a distinct Bangladeshi flavor that made it especially memorable. The rich, spiced minced meat was delicious and authentic. We took our little niece for a Friday, early night tea as a treat. It was the first time in the place and won’t be the last. The staff were really lovely and seemed to be authentic in wanting to know how the food was, or if we needed anything else. I’ve been to places where serving customers looked like a chore for the staff; it’s certainly not the case at this restaurant. We loved the open kitchen and the chef came out to check on everything too. Nice touch. We had the platter starter which was really delicious. Our curries were gorgeous also. There was plenty of food and for a good price. I’d heartily recommend. Thank you all for your hard work.

First time for me, will definately be back. Tasty hot food( I did have two portions of peas as my stepmum doesn't eat hers!!) Lovely helpful staff, nice and warm inside on a cold day. good outdoor area with lights and I think heaters. Dog friendly. Perfect,thank you very much.

A great place for Sunday lunch. Not as crammed as some nearby places, so we didn't feel "hemmed in". Nice to see a proper pub area where people could simply go for a few pints. A very friendly dog, too.

Tried here today for the first time, and had Sunday lunch. It was delicious! Lovely food, great kids menu, reasonable prices, and the benefit of a stunning beer garden with a bouncy castle for our daughter. We will be back. What a hidden gem!

There were 8 of us who were there to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary. The food was excellent, especially the lamb chops! The service was attentive and smiley.

This a a wonderful place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food was cooked perfectly and introduced us to some new flavours - the attention to detail was clear and very much appreciated. We have never had a bad meal from here. The food is always beautiful. Tried something different this evening, the warm beef salad, absolutely gorgeous, so fresh, so tasty! Also had a Thai mushroom omelette, which sounds so basic but this too was just gorgeous. Best omelette I've ever had!

Honestly the best Thai food I’ve had since visiting Thailand a few years ago. In all honesty it’s the best takeaway I’ve had in years. Generous portions, loads of dips added and freshly made! Bonus of the owners being really friendly. Can’t ask for a better takeaway and will definitely be coming back for more.

Bobby goes above and beyond every time we visit! All staff are attentive to detail and are so welcoming! I’ve been coming here for 20 years and I’ve received the same level of service from day one. A great place for a celebratory dinner with friends/ family or a romantic meal for two. Grappolos caters for all!

Absolutely perfect! The staff were amazing, I had my 14 month old with me and they entertained him for a little bit so I could eat. Really friendly and the food and atmosphere was fantastic. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back!

Really packed & busy place. Credit to the staff who manage it all very well. The staff here are amazing: engaging, courteous, accommodating & friendly. The food is nice, although a little hit and miss sometimes. Some dishes are great. Always great quality however with some dishes the flavour isn't quite there. Still, we will be back again. Car parking can be an issue as its quite small for the size of the restaurant. Overall a positive experience, worth a visit.

Always an amazing experience to dine in/ takeout at Harvey’s. Food is consistently amazing quality and fresh. The restaurant itself is nice to dine in both inside and out and is very clean. Will always choose to come back, my favourite place to dine in Huddersfield. Only slight negative would be that parking is limited making it harder for assess especially if you are blue badge owner.

Arranged to meet a work colleague , I stay in the Las Vegas of the North , Blackpool and she travelled up from Digby. I’d looked on line for somewhere half way and found this little gem . The reviews prior to our visit were really good and looking at the menu we decided to get it booked and meet up. No dramas booking on line. Arrived in plenty of time and the staff got us menus with lunch specials and the mains and drinks whilst we looked through the menus . It took us an age to decide as there was that much choice and people were ordering around us and we were getting food envy , everyone the staff bought something else out from the kitchen. We eventually went for dough balls and chicken Goujons starters. We shared as they were to good to keep to ourselves . For the mains we both had the hanging chicken kebabs, one chilli and one garlic . You could select what fries you wanted with it and came with pitta and sauces. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better , we checked out the desserts and even tho there was plenty of selection , we both went for biscof cheescake , which I can only say was , life changing . I was thinking of going to the Batley branch but then was recommended to go to the Huddersfield one instead as I was driving past and became curious. The location is spot on and there's dedicated parking for customers at the back as the building seems to be an ex pub. Th decor inside is welcoming and the staff are very friendly. During our dining experience the staff kept on asking if everything was OK with the food and even before we left the Manager wanted feedback and I gave him my honest opinion. I am not a big fan of beef steaks but I like my chicken fillet burgers. I ordered a Big Daddy burger, Angus beef burger and 2 chicken steak meals for the family. Portions were decent but I was disappointed with the chicken burger I ordered. It was a chicken fillet burger, with pulled lamb and hash brown. It seemed a bit dry inside so I had to use a lot of mayonnaise and chilli sauce that they already have on all the tables. The size of the chicken fillet wasn't very big and did not fill me up for a £9.99 burger. My daughter did enjoy the Angus beef burger though. The feedback from my family for the chicken steak meal was that it was just simple and did not pack any flavours although the mushroom and pepper corn sauce was nice. I know it sounds critical but just being honest as I have had better chicken steaks and fillets from other places. We also ordered some cheesy nachos but were expecting a cheese sauce all over but instead just got melted grated cheese which was disappointing. We did feed this back to the staff and they did take it on board. We loved the location as there's plenty of parking and the atmosphere was very family friendly. I would recommend others to try for themselves as it's worth visiting but the wow factor on this occasion wasn't there for me.

I came here with my family of 5 and I have to say I was very impressed with the setting and environment. Very friendly staff. The vibes I got straight away was a very comfortable and great atmosphere. The service was perfect and gave me enough time to order without any pressure. We ordered lovely food and the chicken steaks were cooked to perfection. No complaint there whatsoever, the taste was first class no doubt. The sauces were not too thick and not too runny then many restaurants I have tried. It was perfect and very rich in taste. You have to try the spicy sauce it is so rich in flavour and to mention top quality food you will recieve here and the mojitas each one has such nice flavour and very refreshing. The chai was the highlight then most places I have been to and this was so far the best 👌 I would highly recommend this diner for any occasion. You try it once and trust me you will crave it again and again. I honestly am not much of a reviewer but this restaurant is worth every praise. Thank you for your hospitality and amazing cuisine to all staff.

Food was amazing. The BBQ starter pulled thing was another level. I really enjoyed this food and even got some free nachos at the start. Amazing service and food. Definitely recommend.
