Rob installed an EV charging point for me. Was very professional, and installed it exactly where I wanted even routing the cable in awkard to get to places so that as little as possible was visiable. Also replaced my consumer unit, and did a great job. Highly recommend!

RVC recently installed an EV charger as well as creating an electrical installation condition report, testing the safety of the electrics in the house. very responsive to emails, they came and gave me a quote for the work quickly. In terms of the installation, I couldn't have asked for more. Arrived a little late but due to a delay at the wholesaler, and then everything worked like clockwork. Chap who did the testing and installation was super professional, talking through any issued that were coming up. Very understanding of a nervous cat in the house too, they took care to let me know when they are going to do anything loud in the house. Installation completed on time, looking excellent, and they took the time to do a good clean-up afterwards. Will definitely be returning to them for any electrical work, and can highly recommend them.

I used RVC for certification to sell my property. They carried out the necessary tests, which revealed a fault. Rob then booked the work in and kept the costs down as much as possible. Polite, swift working and punctual, I would recommend.

Found Tico Electrical online and as they had great reviews used their webpage contact page to send a message. I needed an EV charger installing. Jordan responded almost straight away, came around to survey the job and give me a price. I sourced the charger and he returned to fit as soon as it was delivered and had a space in his diary. Even though he had never fitted that model before, it was no problem. It was installed and up and running in no time. Minimum fuss and no time wasted. He even contacted the manufacturers tech support line to have them help me set up my account. Great firm and won't hesitate to use the lads again for any other jobs.

Jordan (and Jack) have just completed a full rewire at my house. Jordan came round really quickly to sort a quote and arrange a date to start, and I didn’t have to wait long for either. Super professional, reliable, really friendly and easy to get on with which made the process so much easier. Great at what he does, explained things the whole way through and kept me up to date throughout. As part of the rewire he also arranged for a plasterer which was a big bonus and a lot less hassle having to sort myself. They did a great clean up job after. Really happy with all the work done. Great experience using Turnpike. Initial consultation was done by the owner Chris who made us feel at ease with everything and took us through the whole process. The price offered was very reasonable and in fact came in slightly less than we originally put a side for the work. We were even provided with lots of evidence of their previous work through photos as well as a list of previous customers who we could have spoken to should we have wanted to before going ahead. There was no pressure applied throughout this consultation to go ahead with the work like you find with some of the larger companies when their sales reps attend. It was a very relaxed talk with everything being fully explained. Chris even showed us the system he has and how it works for him and his family, showing that he stands by the products he uses which made it better for us. A few days later we contacted Chris and booked in the installation with ease with a short window before the installation date which suited us perfectly. When the installation day came, Chris and his team arrived on time and were very friendly, polite and clean in all of the work being done, even offering to do the repair to the roof which was desperately needed, ensuring to show us what the damage due to water ingress was before we discussed repair and the cost implication, which was a extremely reasonable, as we had multiple cracked slates which were replaced and wood which had become rotten, which was also replaced. The work was done to a great standard with all of the system being fully explained to us with demonstrations when it came to the app, and all of the services which we needed for the PV Solar Array and the battery storage system. We have had the system in place now since June and it has worked a treat, bringing down our bills dramatically. Especially as I have a plug in hybrid car which I charge pretty much daily. Chris is always on the end of the phone should we have any issues or questions that we need help with. I would definitely recommend Turnpike to anyone who is thinking of having solar panels and/or a battery storage system installed. They took all of the waste away with them. Cannot fault the service which was provided to us.

Turnpike installed my system in June and I found Chris and his team were incredibly honest and helpful from advice on the system before quoting right through to agreeing how it was to be installed and final commission and registration. The quote was also far more competitive than exactly the same system by other nationally operating companies also. I can’t fault anything in terms of the installation or operation over the last 4 months and he’s been very helpful in providing advice post installation also.

We had Chris and his team install a pretty large solar system including batteries in our home. His advice was sound and although we don’t face south he explained how it would benefit us. Since the installation I have been amazed at the efficiency of the system and its ease of use. Chris (and all subcontractors) have been polite, tidy, honest and overall good people do business with. They provided accurate pricing and timescales for installation which was completed pretty much exactly as expected. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for similar work.

RES did all the electrics for our extension, he fitted us into his busy schedule and kept our build on track as we were let down last minute by another tradesman. The work was of a high standard and he gave great advice along the way, would recommend to anyone.

Michael was recommended to me by someone I work with, as I was at the end of my tether with some ongoing issues within my home I have just bought in the September 2024. He was quick to respond and on short notice, popped round to assess the situation, long story short he has now fixed all my lights in my home, fitted an extractor fan and also installed a new induction hob. Excellent service. Called today after house flooded, received good advice over the phone and promised to call back later and come out. Received a call at the time promised, and the work was completed swiftly. Everything was explained concisely without jargon (and no condescending ‘tradesman to woman’ stuff, if you’re female you’ll know what I mean!). I feel the price was reasonable considering the swift, skilled service. Receipt/invoice provided for insurer. And to top it all off, a very friendly and personable chap. Really pleased with everything and can recommend confidently.

This Guy is the kindest, most helpful and knowledgeable guy I had the good fortune of calling in my hour of need.
